I only use this w/ Android auto - about 6 hrs a month. They have no tier-service, so expensive. You can't cancel except by calling a human with a heavy accent. The app drops connections every 20 minutes or so if I drive long distance. The latest app is a total fluster-cluck.

Scammers

I have had Sirius XM for a number of years and each year they automatically increase the rate by 250% even though I have it in writing and voice mail of what this year's rate will be. But this makes no difference. They are counting on their customers not monitoring their credit card and so the scam continues.
Wish I could give them less than a 1 star rating.

They can't be Sirius!

SiriusXM is a waste of money and an unscrupulous business. They offer sweet deals to get you to sign up then they steadily increase your bill counting on their customers not to notice. Instead of rewarding long-time customers, they penalize you by raising your rates every year and don't think you can easily cancel, oh no they make that very difficult and time consuming.

I wanted to check on pricing for a car I bought my daughter. In checking - they signed me up for a free trial even though I didn't want one. It took me 30 minutes to cancel. I tired a chat agent = not helpful and two calls to customer service. Worst experience ever. After 12 year on my regular car thinking about cancelling. If there is a class action lawsuit - I want to be a part of it

More & more they blackout Triumph 111 due to sporting event. Not just a few hours but 6 or more. Subscription canceled, so disappointed in you SiriusXM

I love the SiriusXM app and it has alot of channels you can listen too with variety of genre music. I mainly like the premium Pandora where you can customize your channel. Its a great way to listen at home with your kids and family.The workers are very warm hearted and compassionate as well. Highly recommend to get SiriusXM Radio!

Let me tell you a story about a Hyundai Tucson 2012 radio. We purchased a Hyundai in 2012 and paid for Siriusxm and paid extra for our other tablets and cellphones. Well, all was well for some time and then it happened we were cut off from Siriusxm and could not understand why, we paid our bill always so what happened. Well, here it goes but first, I do not even have to leave the house to run into problems, some that should not occur. I called Siriusxm and they said because the radio was changed out, they needed a letter from the dealer and they wanted to charge me $15.00 for the change over from one radio to another and I said no and hung up. I called up Siriusxm the next day and they told me that this replacement radio was someone else's and that blah! Blah! Blah! So, I hung up getting even madder. I called up the 3rd day and was speaking with a nice guy who wanted to help me, like this is how it should have been I explained that my radio was replaced and now Siriusxm wants to charge me $15.00 and he said he would correct all the problems and would not charge me anything. What a great guy and all was working well for sometime. Well, everything is going along fine and then recently we got turned off on all our devices. I called Siriusxm and explain the situation (here we go again). This time I really got mad. The girl tells me that the previous owner put in for a 30 day free trial and because there time was up it was turned off. I said I own this radio and these people do not. I said that I have been paying each and every month for service and you cut me off without even telling me why. Well, the girl said she would give us 90 days free trial on the radio and 30 days on the other devices. Then they will have straightened out the problems (I don't think so, but will find out) in 30 days. For now, I am preparing for the 30 day fight, but all the devices are working. I am a happy camper for now. Will continue to let you know what happens.

Impossible SiriusXM

These people are impossible! I tried, and tried again to get serious, without giving them my charge card#. I wanted paper billing. Once SiriusXM has the charge card #, they routinely keep charging the account, for increasingly higher rates when trials are done. When this happens, we must do the dance to get lower rates, or cancel. I like the service...but although the trial price is good, the normal price, to me, is absolutely not worth it.

Horrible customer service
September 5, 2023

Attempting to renew my subscription and customer service is refusing to help me. I've been left online with no response multiple times. I requested a link for my payment be sent, and still haven't received it. I've been hung up on multiple times. They are the worst. Maybe if they had a call center based in the US with English speaking reps, it might help.

Beware

We have been a customer of Sirius for years. Each year after our contract ends Sirius begins charging our credit card a ridiculous monthly rate. Last year we again negotiated a new program but advised we did not want an automatic renewal. Sirius began charging us again this year. We contacted customer service who stated we did authorize the charges which we did not. The customer service supervisor was rude, condescending, and refused to refund the unauthorized payments. Beware if you sign up with Sirius, they keep your card on file and at the end of your contractual year take the liberty to charge fees unauthorized.

Have been with Sirius a number of years. My auto-payment was $10.52.
In August, my auto-pay went to $29.30. Sirius did not notify me that they changed my plan to Platinum. (I had the basic plan for years.)
Also, there is no history to review on their site.
When you call Customer service, their recording says that they are busy, and prompts to give permission to chat through message. When you message, it does not send, and so you have to call again.
When you do get an agent, they try to keep you as a customer...
I ccancelled! So wrong!

Sirius XM has one of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! All calls are routed to a center overseas & you can't instance the representative 's broken & highly accented English. Very difficult to cancel services. They insisted you answer multiple questions each time rephrasing exactly what they just asked. Will not accept "I want to cancel my service & don't ask me more questions" as a response. Take at least 30 minutes to cancel service & then they will continue to charge you after you have canceled, resulting in another 30+ minute call. Avoid this company.

The On-Line product, clearly cobbled together by dim chimps. Need to reboot frequently. Constant messages: "Trying To Connect". Impossible to simply have music in the background.

Hundreds of channels with loud, discordant noises for children. Classical choices limited to their entire collection of 100 CDs. Half of the CDs are 20th century sonatas for trash can lids and stepped-on $#*!cats.

They should pay subscribers for victimizing them.

Not worth it
June 24, 2022

Got a free trial and let it expire without renewing. Hounded for 8 months via snail mail and email. Did not respond. Then got a pretty good deal via email for $5 a month and free echo dot. Called to reconnect the service. Got a rep who couldn't speak English very well and he kept saying the same thing over and over. Finally, he spoke slower and said "you realize there are taxes and fees of $6.76". I said "total or per month?" He said "per month". I thanked him for his time and told him good bye with sounds of him trying to make another deal as I hung up. They will nickel and dime you to death. And after a year, your service goes to $17.99/month…before fees and taxes. No thanks. I'll keep my apple car play.

The Worst
February 1, 2024

I cancelled my 3 months for $1 trial after only a week because the Roku app is so limited and the phone app I'll never use and I don't own a car so can't use it there. After I cancelled on the website I could not remove my debit card. I spent an hour on the phone first with a regular call center person and then his supervisor and both told me they can not remove my debit card. They said my card would just disappear off their website after the 3 month trial is over. Don't believe it. Not acceptable and downright CRIMINAL in my opinion. My anxiety is through the roof and will be for 3 months until April 2024! I will call my bank after this review to put a stop on Sirius XM charges because I wished I would have read these reviews BEFORE I gave them a try because obviously they are criminals. My actual rating is Negative to infinity and beyond, one star is far to good for such a corrupt organization.

Not Worth The $$$$

I had Sirius XM for the past several years. I used to get a renewal notice. This round they just decided to up the price at three times what I was paying. Called them on it and they got rather rude in that they don't bother letting you know if any promotion has expired. They just raise the price. I have canceled my service as they are not worth it.

I've had XM for years and I was very happy you played songs I haven't heard in a long time. But now the problem is these DJ's won't shut up and with them talking nonstop it's the same as having commercials. And seems like they have the same guest DJ's who play same songs by the same artist. I listen to lithium channel basically rock genre. The problem with this is lithium which used to be awesome now it's the same artist STP, soundgarden,rage against the machine, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam. I hardly ever hear nirvana if it is it's just those same songs also! Doesn't Pearl Jam have their own station!? I love all these band especially nirvana I do t get why you can't have a variety of grunge and alternative rock on this station!? And please cut the DJ's time down I'm paying for music not 3-5 minute from these DJ's talking about the same thing every time!

These people have called me in 4 hours, same day over 24 times and I have blocked every single number. I'm giving them a one star they're spamming my phone I keep blocking the number I don't know how to make them to stop calling me! Are they inconsiderate, yes I think so. Wow they practicing bad Business. I think it's against the law to spam somebody's phone like 24 times in less than 4 hours. I've got a record of it I'm going to figure out who to call and report them.

The Worst

It's obvious there is no laws and justice in this country, to let a '' Ali Baba Cave " like this trashy SiriusXm radio manipulate ignorant and naïve clients without any ethical or moral restrictions... they start with $20/month and they bargain with the client to get $6/month ( that's what just happened with me, and this it the 6th year with them) once the enrolment is completed after 6 months they automatically renew on $20/month, so i have to call yell at them, insult them, etc... then they agree on the $6/month for the next 6 months. Their NON-English speakers customer service barely can speak and explain and mostly apologize to clients. This is my last renewal with them, it's a trashy company with no self respect and no ethics at all, this is a real dumpster.
