We have registered our cousin's profile on shaadi few months back. Before making the payment, there is no information to the customer to provide the ID proofs before or after making the payment. All of sudden, they have blocked the profile and started asking for ID proof. We don't want to make everything public to all. Definitely it can be shared to the suitable and genuine profiles.
I said, I don't want to provide the document because of the above said reason and hence asked for refund. After taking the membership, they have started the actual drama by blocking the membership and asking for ID. If they would have mentioned about the ID while making the payment, definitely I would not have taken the membership. Basically they doesn't want to refund money and hence giving all useless reasons like "provide the ID, we will extend membership... etc.,"
HENCE I REQUEST ALL THE GENUINE CUSTOMER'S PLZ KEEP THIS POINT AND THINK WELL BEFORE MAKING THE PAYMENT.
Of course i don't want to leave these rogues, i will file a complaint against them. At least other's should not face this experience.

Worst experience. They fake profile and very old. And customer service is bad.it have fake advertisement too.

I am based in the US and used the site as a parent. The site is the most difficult to maneuver. There are thousands of fake and expired profiles still left floating on site. It is a great site for wishful Indian parents hoping that their reluctant child finds someone to marry, This is also a site for many wishful work and tourist visa Indians in the US hoping to catch some green card or citizen mate to ease their visa situation. You can wade thru thousands of profiles and send hundreds of invites. Barely 10% reply with a standardized message. After that initial connect they do not respond to chat messages on the site or answer their text and emails that are connected with the profile. They just vanish into thin air. If by chance a connection is made with parents, I find that very few have genuine interested sons or daughters. Sometimes some parents play games like they would if they were parents in India. They think their child as God's gift to mankind and behave accordingly. Hey guys others have qualified and beautiful children too.
Finally, with the young adults in this country, there is a major stigma associated with the site. Most feel that only losers are there that need their parents to help them out, hence any lead gfrom this site is looked down upon.
The idea is great as here is one site that parents can get involved to go into the maze and screen profiles they feel will suit their children. It needs a major overhaul that will truly attract a more elite clientele. Have a separate upscale division for countries outside India. Charge more, do more screening and periodically do housecleaning whereby expired and old profiles are discarded. Then incorporate some sort of fun way of letting youngsters connect.

I met this guy on shaadi.com on 5th May 23 and started communicating from 7th May 23. The person seemed interesting to talk to. After discussing about us we decided to meet. After discussing when and how to meet we finalized After 15th June 23. I met him on 17th June 23 in Bangalore and the meeting was ok not that bad. We decided we will meet again and from the next day he started keeping distance and after few days i decided to call him to check on him and when i called him he started abusing me and was behaving as i was irritating him and somehow i got so much frustrated i told him this is not the right way to talk to someone and if he was not interested he could have directly rejected me that day itself. I went to Bangalore to meet him and later he bribed me to pay my expenses as i came there for him. We met again on weekend to discuss and we peacefully decided we will start from fresh. I stayed there for 1 more week and there was no efforts from him. When i came back from Bangalore he blocked me on a small fight. He body shammed me and was shouting and using words which made me feel so disgusting that i was in bed for few days.

First, I signed up as a free member. Then they blocked my profile forcing me to provide
Identity documentation. Then they kept SMSing me to get a paid membership, even though I had specifically unchecked all tickboxes to contact me in any way for any reason. I would open tickets telling them to stop, and they would ignore them. Eventually, I signed up for their shortest 3 month membership on India's Republic Day, the day with their biggest sale. Magically, all their pestering SMS messages finally stopped. I quickly noticed that most of their profiles are fake. They basically have 2 tricks. 1) They copy photos from social media (i. E. Facebook, etc.) and other dating sites to create fake profiles from scratch. 2) They either delete profiles of genuine
Members or wait until they leave, and then reincarnate their profiles without their knowledge. However, their contact information might be accurate. You'll realize it's case #2, when you either send an invite, get accepted or accept an invite, call the number, and the real person is clueless as to who you are or why you called. I was one of shaadi.com member. I naked a profile in shaadi.com, than I got a call from them I will be not able to contact or chat with other members, so I need to buy a membership. I bought a membership after they told me to buy Vip service( As shaadi.com team said- it's on offer, we will give you a consultant, that person will handel the profile and will send you three profiles every week according to your preference, but they never confirmed with the preference before send the profile that is the person interested to talk to me or not. If, I asked them have got any reply from any of my match, their answer exactly was( I think it's best to handpick never matches to get your quicker introductions) than why did I bought VIP membership? To just hear from you! I wasted my a lot of money and time and in the end of 0% results.
My service was so disappointed with the match preferences and with my consultant Daljit Kaur.

Look at the funny part! after finishing my VIP membership, they calling me and texted me back, If you buy again three months VIP membership (Rs. +70,000) before 1 April 2020,We are giving free days membership until close in India, because of Covid-19.

You will find tonns of fake profiles which have been probably put there by http://shaadi.com (http://shaadi.com) employees only as more invitations you forward, your credits depletes and then you have to buy another subscription package. The return rate for invitations is quite low especially in case of foreign profiles which in my case was less than 5% and the only profile i received acceptance from did not bother to reply. I'm a lawyer and teacher earning 4 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year and still there is no reply. You will only receive messages from some local arts graduate non-working girls with face similar to mayavati. Do not buy their packages as they only allure you by showing profiles of beautiful girls which turns out to br fake as you never receive any message back from them. When i called their customer care, they gave me another number and upon calling this number when you have to ask for refund they will keep you on hold with depressing muzak for 10 to 20 minutes and then they will make an excuse of refund policy which probably been framed in a way that they would never have to refund. In my case, i received a message from some local girl to call her back and then she said she isn't interested in moving abroad call lasted 30 seconds and because of that http://shaadi.com (http://shaadi.com) will not refund. A 30 seconds call costed me thousand bucks. My suggestion, instead of paying money to these fraudsters, go spend this money on your body or hire a hooker for lap dance.
