3 tonne jack used less than 20 times can't pick up 5kg, customer service not interested just constant lies saying my jack was getting collected by the courier in 3 days never heard anything back on that one! Worst company to deal with, well over 4 weeks no result just lies! Cheap Chinese crap Halfords £30 jacks are better! Avoid at all costs do not waste your hard earned money

I've just made my second purchase through SGS engineering and they have once more exceeded my expectations.

Renovating my garage I decided that I had been tools spread between too randomly organised took boxes. So, I decided not needed a mechanic's cabinet. Searching the high street and well known retailers I found they were either flimsy and cheap or horendously expensive.

I should have tried SGS first! It only do they offer one of the cheapest cabinets I could for be but the specifications were better than some costing triple the price.

Ordered one morning it was here the next working day. Well packaged it arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was simple and SGS even provide a video on their website to help, if you get stuck.

8 strudel drawers with ball bearing runners. Detachable tool box on top and proper heavy duty castors. For less than a hundred quid delivered. One hundred!

To fit in a couple of minutes. I must add I am pretty amazed of how they are great! Not only they work perfectly but they are really strong. Wow, such a lightining tailgate opening! Better, Stronger, Faster: all I like!

Great discounted price and quick delivery. Set up easy enough with most parts already assembled. Have only used the strimmer so far and it is a powerful machine. Started easily after a few pulls and ran smooth throughout use. Not as heavy as the power would suggest but harness is a great bit of kit meaning you can work much longer without getting tired. Accessories are a bit cheap but the machine itself is feels high standard. Will definitely look at SGS again for other purchases. SGS 5 in 1 petrol strimmer/pruner.

What a quality service and quality tool chest, definitely up there with the so called leading brand for probably less than half the cost.

Looks fantastic in the brushed stainless steel finish and solid wood top, I honestly thought for the money it might be a bit thin and flimsy but how wrong was I.

I looked around at different makes including the halfords pro range for simular money but this is twice as sturdy and build quality second to none. The size, style and shape suited my needs perfectly. It comes with the chunkiest wheels I've come across but for me mine was going flat on the floor but 100% certain they are more than capable of taking the cabinet weight. Thanks sgs.

Good robust products, 6T axle stands with high listing range - just right for Range Rovers. Really fast delivery. Box was coming apart on arrival, but these are heavy items and can quickly beat up cardboard packaging. Some padding inside the box might have helped, anyway arrived in good condition so no harm done and really please with the stands. Can't really beat SGS for reliable, robust workshop equipment. I'm a repeat customer, which probably says it all.

An excellent piece of kit delivered early the following day for only £6.99, it would have been free if I'd ordered over £50. It's very well made, very substantial and fitted perfectly on my Passat, though if your car, or at least the engine bay, is wider then you'd need to check that it will fit, 154 cms max. Width. Because my engine lifting mounts are high I ended up using ratchet tie-down shops over the top of the bar instead of the grappling hooks and chain. Chain is substantial (28mm across) so may not go through your lifting mounts, may need to use a shackle or hook to attach.
