After selling a large shipment of calculators, I was super impressed to see the 1) almost immediate response to any questions I had, which was incredibly helpful for someone who had never done this before, 2) the quick and easy setup for payment and shipping- you just print the label they give you, attach it to a package, and take it to the post office, then payment is completed after quality check. Very smooth and great people to sell to.
NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS THEY ARE STILL THE LOWEST PRICE IN TOWN. I JUST AIN'T GOING OVER TO THE CADILLAC STORE AND WALK AROUND WITH THE "BETTER THAN THOU - WANNA BE RICH SO I ACT IT) CROWD AND PAY $3.99 FOR THE SAME PRODUCT WALMART SELLS FOR $2.50.

I have sold several calculators using this service. I might have been able to get a slightly better price by trying to sell the unit myself, but this was much easier.
Selling my calculator through Sell Your Calculators was easy and flawless. I received an email when my calculator arrived and the check was mailed to me promptly. I am very satisfied with this service.
I asked those people at calcswap on ebay (sellyourcalculators.com) how fast they could actually get the calculator in the mail and they gave me attitude to the question (BEFORE the sale!). I then searched and luckily found this and many other instances of how these people operate. I then asked them about the scam of how they buy.
They never denied the scam as described above by so many others, all they did was tell me how wonderful they are with so many feedbacks.
The feedback says NOTHING about the way they get the calculators in the first place.
It's a matter of character and integrity.
Either you have it or you don't!
It's not often you get to find out before you bought anything what the vendors character is like. If they will screw all those who have bothered to say anything (and who knows how many, others), why not me or you?
I can only guess how they might have acted if I had any problems after the sale. I will not be giving them a chance to screw me, you do as you see fit.
Total scam.
I shipped four fully working calculators, all in near new condition. I paid about 120 each.
They told me over email that the best they could do was 3 bucks each because they did not work. I replied I wanted them back immediately. They told me that to ship them back to me, I would have to paypal them 25 shipping and 10 dollars handling!
Wtf.
They still have my calculators, I filed a complaint with the local BBB.
All they do is scam you out of your working calculators.
They make you think like they are going to pay you a fair price for them, but then they low ball you when they physically have your calculators.
They of course later post them on ebay to continue these cycle of ripping off broke students!
We sent in some calcs, in return we got about 2% of what they sell for on ebay.
Yes, I understand they have to make some money, but 2% for me, and 98% for the seller? I never would have sent anything if I had known what i was going to get!
And yes, you are charged up the rump if you want them back. I wouldn't have a problem with them doing this sort of thing if they disclosed how little money they pay first. This whole process of shipping to them first, and then they can tell us what the item is worth to them doesn't work out so well for *******@john. Yes. Customer services is nice, but its the $$$ I care about, we spent a crapton on these calculators you know!@mike. Game stop is a good comparison, but I would compare more to cash4gold sites.
Highway robbery here, don't do it!
We value all customers and do everything to resolve all issues. All prices are quoted instantly on the website before a client even makes an account. There is no sending an item in and not knowing what we pay. If a client misgrades calculators we are happy to send them back as long as they pay for the return shipping which is only a few dollars. Many times we pay for the return shipping for first time clients.
I fell for their scam too.
I was told over the phone they were going to pay me 84 dollars each for two ti89 titaniums.
About a week after sending them the calculators, I was informed the best they could give me was 25 dollars each because they recently had an overstock of this same model.
If I wanted them back, I had to pay them 40 bucks in shipping, restocking, or other bull$#*! fee.
I payed their stupid fee, and got my calculators back. And now I will hold on to them like precious gems. Went to grad school and now I use them everyday.
And the calculators were all in excellent condition. Fully working. Keep your calculator or sell/give/trade it to a friend.

I've sold a few calculators to sellyourcalculators and a few to cash4calcs.
Comparing apples to apples the customer assistance from SYC is 10 x's better.
Sure I always want more money, don't we all... but good customer service out ways waiting weeks and weeks for a response as I experienced from C4C. If I had a question or concern I would either get a email or call the same day I asked it. Honestly, I have more calcs to sell and I know where I will be sending them because, SYC is faster and has better service. If you want more money, then deal with the BS and sell them on EBAY yourself.
I sent in 2 calculators and received payment within a week. Really good service and fair. I would use this service again.

Sending in my calculator was extremely easy and it took about a week before I received my check in the mail. Anytime i need to sell a calculator, I know where to go.
I have yet to receive the check I was suppose to get. It's been a week since I received an email saying I was suppose to get in 5-7 days.
