Have not purchased an item like this before, so can't honestly comment about the product yet...still waiting to get it set up for use. Ordered product with 3-day delivery and it arrived at 11:30 p.m. on the third day -- impressive! I would recommend site.

The web site was easy to navigate and use. Tha products arrived in a timely fashion. I had the system set up and reporting weather data within 30 minutes of receipt of delivery from UPS. Everything works as advertised.
Painless ordering once I made up my mind which unit I wanted. Delivery time was reasonable but a bit expensive. Overall, if and when I want to upgrade or replace this system, I will certainly shop Scientific Sales.
I found the same item on Amazon after my purchase from you. The difference was about $20.00 but I rationalized that this product was one of your specific products and should there be any issue, the resolution world be satisfied more easily by your company. This was a gift to my son who lives in Florida. His old Oregon wireless weather monitor crashed and I decided that a more sophisticated unit would keep him busy figuring how to make it function. First sent an e-mail to Scientific Sales with specific questions. Never dis get a reply. I went directly to Davis Instruments for answers. Once I bought, Scientific sales kicked in gear and service was great. Bottom line; do not disturb unless you buy.
I had trouble with getting xmas presents here on time, you guys called to make sure of the shipping address and got it here before xmas. I wish my shopping experience was like that everywhere. Thanks!

Quick easy have bought from here before, and the first time i did service was QUICK! 2-3 days not a week from NJ to CT this time around...now its possible they were out of stock so i`ll give them that. Would i buy from them again...probably it is a very safe site no problem there along with their Norton protection service they instituted.
The sale and service from Scientific sales was great. I placed this order as a Christmas present for my husband. The only reason I gave three stars for shipping was the item was packaged up immediately on 12-11 via usps click and ship ( which our business uses often as we are in SE Alaska), However it was not given to the mail carrier or post office until 12-16. That being said I would still rather have the option of usps service as opposed to ups or fedex as in our location the price for the later is double the postal service at times. The weather station was packaged up securely and arrived in tact. Thank You, my husband loves the unit.
I now have 4 Vantage Pro consoles in my home. As an aviator and weather "buff", they are a constant source of interest and information and even entertainment. My anemometer is mounted on top of a 36' retired telephone pole. The sensors are mounted 6' above ground level on the same pole. This is, of course, a wireless system with which I have had zero problems (except when my pole was struck by lightning. The results were devastating). Because of reputation, reliability and great customer service, I never hesitate to recommend Davis products and Scientific Sales to all my pilot friends.
Your site response time is so slow I thought it failed everything else was fine. Your fulfillment center processed my request with in a couple of hours and I received the station in less than a week (standard shipping) very nice.
Most online purchases are pretty much alike. You're was no different. Everything was fine until I got to the shipping cost for a 36" weather balloon. It doesn't take rocket science to see how padded that was. $16.44 to ship a 1 oz product is ridiculous.
Site offers want I want at the best price. Like the convenience of using Amazon pay. Though the time from shipping to standard delivery was only three days, processing the order took over a week. That fact is the reason behind my rating; otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.
I was very pleased with my order. I don't have my unit up & running yet. (Davis Vantage Vue) I'll be mounting it to a 1 inch J pipe on my roof so that I can service it from a ladder. Can't comment any more at this time.
