Needed a last minute hotel for my stay in Vegas. I was able to call customer support and they helped me book a great hotel. Enjoyed my stay and the booking process was a breeze. Will use agian.
I am so socked to see what people are saying here. I have had the best experience with reservations.com. Needing to go Miami for a conference and never being there before they make the trip such a breeze to get a hotel room for multiple night. The price I got thought them was also one of the best being the Hyatt Centric i picked to stay. Hope you try it for self and do not miss out on this awesome service. 100% Legit 100% Best Deal 100% Awesome Service. Thank you reservations.com.
All was amazing and the staff was also very nice! My stay was extraordinary from the moment I arrived here and until I left. It was ten days of the most remarkable and great service I have ever encountered. The girls in the office helped organize everything we wished to do.
Keep up the wonderful service!
Excellent!
This is a scam. They do not state additional charges up front. The website is set up so that you have to look for the additional charges before booking, and if you do not scroll up (which is not normal), you wind up blindsided.
I am disputing all charges, including cancellation charges, with my credit card agency and will be looking into reporting your company for fraud.
To make matters worse there were additional charges on the reservation that do not even add up. The difference of booking through this company and the actual hotel was over $40. If you take out the $15 service fee, that's $25+ of unaccounted for charges.
We cancelled our reservation, and are not even sure if we really had a reservation ever. I do not agree with the cancellation charges and will be working with my credit card company to recover all charges.
I was very glad i choose reservations.com to book my hotel for me. My last trip was wonderful, booking process was fast and done immediately. I will use them again for my next trip.
MINUS 10,000 STARS
WARNING TO EVERYONE
Please do not book anything with this site
They booked our room for $260 and after all the invisible fees our credit card was charged $334 with a no refund policy... don't make the same mistake we did
BIG SCAM
This company is a 3rd party booking website located oversees. You will have a VERY hard time getting a refund should you need to cancel. I made a huge mistake booking with them. Totally my fault--- and NEVER again will I use them! Live and learn!
I was booking a room on the actual site (at least that is what I typed in the url) and saw the 4.5 review from travel advisor, and 4 stars from customer reviews, so I booked my stay. I had requested 3/8/19-3/11/19 as I will be attending my daughter's wedding, of which I think, I DO know the dates I would need a room! Once the order was completed-I did not get a chance to review the days before it completed the order, it popped up with the dates of 3/10-3/11! WTF?! I tried to call the company and got a "representative" that had such a thick accent that I had to repeat the itinerary/confirmation number at least 4 times before it was recognized. When I explained that the wrong dates were saved, I was told that it was non-refundable and I could not change or modify the reservation!
Okay, so I put in the dates I wanted, they were rearranged and cancelled and I can't change them-that's fair and legit... right? In the end, this person disconnected the call, so I called back and a pretty similar experience happened again, and forget about talking with a manager or person in charge.
Thank goodness **MARRIOTT** was able to work around this dishonest and uncaring company who's only goal is to screw the customer, it seems. I see that maybe four people are giving more than 1 star-I am guessing they must work for the company and probably get a kick-back for each customer they swindle. Oh, and the best part is, both of the "representatives" said that their company did not book the room so that is why they cannot change the reservation! Of course I never found out WHO actually booked my room, even though the reservation email states "reservations.com"! Hope people read this before they get jacked by this fraudulent, scamming online booking service... but unfortunately, you will probably end up just like me and realize you have been scammed when it is too late to do anything...
I realized after getting t ok the end that I was in the wrong site. I booked my reservation the room was 162. After the added fees ohhh and their invisible fees it came out to 283.03. This company needs to be shut down. I reported them to the BBB. The company said they would refund me 40.00. Their policy states that 14.00 us the refund fee.
How do companies stay in business like this. I am adding this to my Facebook and Instagram page.
Hope this helps someone else.
I had the worst customer service experience of my life today. I booked a hotel room (one night) on this site as advertised at $326. I immediately got an email confirming the booking and charging my credit card for over a $100 more. I spent about four hours dealing with "customer service" which was extraordinarily frustrating (limited English, not particularly helpful). I finally ended up contacting the GM of the hotel where I had booked. He was kind enough to cancel the reservation. Still Reservagitons.com is saying it's going to take five to 10 business days to return my money. They should be investigated. Now.
9/30/2018 I made a non refundable hotel reservation through this site. But there was no immediate reference number, confirmation number, or follow up email like there normally is. After many emails & calls through 10/1 & 2 still nothing then after a call to them on 10/2/2018 later in the day, in which they STILL don't know anything... I had barely hung up the phone when I get an email. They found it. My last name was spelled wrong even though I had her repeat it back to me more than once.
That was a fun couple of days won't EVER be going back to them. Ever. Might get to sleep tonight
When I asked if this reservations.com was a 3rd party booking, the customer service representative said that Banff Park Lodge hires them to take care of reservations. I only wanted to book if it was directly with your hotel. I confirmed again that this was not a 3rd party and she said "no". I then proceeded to book and when it came time to offer my credit card information, I asked if this was Canadian funds as I am calling from NB and booking in AB. The rep said "Yes, you will be charged Canadian Funds". I proceeded to pay and when I received my confirmation email, it reflected USD (American dollars), which is UNACCEPTABLE. I then called to CANCEL as I was not impressed with this misleading information concerning billing. When I cancelled, the representative said that it will take 10 - 15 business days to cancel on my credit card, leaving the USD rate pending on my credit card. I called American Express and they told me to call Reservations.com back to ask them to call their 1-800 # to offer a Merchant # to free up this pending charge. I called Reservations.com back (coincidentally had the same rep, Alex, answer my call) and he said that I would have to email to request such procedure. I asked to speak to his manager (Jay) and he said that he was on the line and could not take my call. I said that I was willing to wait, so Alex put my on hold. So far, I have been on hold for 28 minutes unacceptable. After waiting 34 minutes for Jay to come on the line, he informed me "I really don't have the merchant number..." and that "we are working with limited resources..."and THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
We will never use Reservations.com again. This is our only experience with them and it was an absolutely horrible! Non-caring customer service and charged a fee in addition to the room charge. When we called back they said there's nothing they could do about it. Why didn't they just say there's nothing they wanted to do. They were quite willing to overcharge us.
I usually don't comment on every product I use but seeing this barrage of Negative paid comments I could not stop myself from putting this word out because I had a good experience with them. My stay at Seattle for a business weekend was one of the best time I had in recent times. Customer care service of reservations.com were really helpful and was managed by real people unlike other portal who use chat bots(Hope you get it whom i am talking about).
I was planning to go to Miami during the summer for a holiday. I needed an affordable hotel as I was going to stay there for a week. Thanks to Reservations.com I was able book a hotel which was close to all the tourist spots as well as within my estimated budget. I stayed at Eurostar Langford and even got a good deal as I had booked via Reservations.com.
I don't understand why there has been so many negativity this company has received in this forum. Let me share my experience. I had planned to surprise my best friend by booking us all a holiday to Las Vegas. I tried booking hotels on various sites but they were all either too expensive or didn't have the kind of deals I was looking for. Then I came across Reservations.com. We stayed at the Four Queens Hotel at a great price, because we got an offer.
Despite these not-so-favourable reviews, I must say I had a good experience booking with Reservations.com. My husband & I planned to visit our friends at New Orleans. We decided to book our stay early as we wanted a nice accommodation. Reservations.com had some of the best hotels at New Orleans and some of the hotels were on discounted prices because we booked early. We had the best stay at the Renaissance New Orleans and a nice weekend overall.
My friend & I had planned a week's trip to New York. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the trip because I caught the flu and there was no way I could travel while being sick. We thought it would be a hassle to go through the cancellation process. On the contrary, the customer service executives at Reservations.com were quite helpful and made the cancellation process hassle-free for us. We even got a refund!
I made a reservation on my phone while we were traveling. Thought I was on the hotel website booking directly. Come to find out, my card was charged $46 over what the rate was and what the hotel actually received and showed my receipt to be. Now that's a hefty fee.
Well at least the stories are consistent... I too lured into thinking I was going to the hotel directly... fees at least 25% more that the hotel directly. I also have no evidence of the reservation..
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!
Answer: Hello, Thank you for question. Please contact us at support@reservations.com so we can better assist you with this matter. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely Reservations.com Support Team
Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
