Are you a normal person who wants to have your normal opinions constantly shifted to the left by an endless stream of peer pressure from faceless users who are likely bots or paid viral advertisers? Do you want your normal opinions quietly snuffed out without notification because they dont fit the left wing agenda of the sites moderators? Then Reddit is the place for you!

Reddit is another big tech first amendment abuser. Run by leftists they will ban anyone speaking what they judge as hate speech. Hate speech is defined as opposing their narrative as they define it. Feels like NAZI Germany... avoid unless you do not want open discussion

Single white straight men are the most hated men in America if not the world. They make sure to not give us a platform anywhere to be able to vent our frustrations or help guide men to a better life and what to avoid. Only women benefit from marriage, they benefit even more from divorce. Ask yourselves. What do women bring to the table in a modern relationship? They claim it's sexist to suggest them to cook or clean. They only want equal rights if it benefits them. They have zero clue how good they have it and they destroy men's souls daily.

I used to admire this site and once felt proud as it helped me with a lot of issues about techs, gadgets and privacy. Now I see that it's a propaganda machine. It's like CNN now and no difference between Reddit and facebook or youtube.

I posted a comment n the relationship section where the OP had asked if their significant other was being a $#*!. I said yes, the particular behavior pointed to him being a $#*!. I see much worse posted in the thread on a constant basis. My comment was deleted by moderators insisting that the relationships thread needed to be non gendered and therefore my post was deleted. So they say no genders are allowed. No he, no she. Yet that is 90%of the thread. Saying $#*! in the context of how an individual was behaving was apparently implying $#*!ing gender. While agreeing with the OP 's question, which was is he being a $#*!. $#*! this website and the randomness, I won't go back to it. I deleted my account. Good luck navigating the random minefield of some people are allowed to mention gender and some of us apparently need to skirt around that topic.

Reddit admins not only intentionally hid reviews that were negative for the company, refused to reply to questions of why they did it, and shadow banned accounts based upon opinions. They banned me for "Discouraging people from participating in communities" after calling someone else out for blocking an account which makes it impossible to reply to them. Reddit is the second largest echo chamber of the internet beside facebook. Don't let them tell you otherwise. Go against group think and you'll happily be banned with no response until the last day of your ban. Then they'll say "oops our bad, you shouldn't have been banned" it's a thinly disguised excuse for promoting the political agendas held by the admins.

Edit: 4 days into a 7 day ban, I submitted a appeal on the first day, and unbanned exactly as predicted and expected.

Watch out for subreddits that claim to be "sex positive" and "mature". I had a bunch of older posters tell me "he abused you, bc you let him", when I was trying to get support on a past abusive situation. That's an uneducated comment. One of the woman posters who told me this was supposedly an ER nurse. Is she going to tell DV and SA victims that they "let this happen to them," when they come to the ER for medical help? Gross.

Gen X and Baby Boomers who victim-blame online: Look at yourself first. You guys have some of the highest rates of divorce and cheating. Maybe a little bit of empathy may help your failing relationships. I can only imagine how unhappy you are if you're hiding behind a computer screen pointing fingers at young women trying to heal from trauma.

Despite being quite vast, their clicks are worth much less than Facebook, Twitter or YouTube, agreeing with this source:

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/11/reddit-users-are-the-least-valuable-of-any-social-network.html

You will be trated like a piece of garbage just for disagreeing with other moderators, who will ban you without thinking twice.

I don't want to be treated this way and neither should anyone else.

I've been having issues trying to report a group on reddit that seems to get away with some of the rules/values that reddit claims cannot be broken by users. The group r/aznidentity masks itself as being an activist group but in reality it's essentially a far left yellow supremacy group. When I go through a lot of their posts/comments (and their bizarre manifesto) they come across as being very disparaging, rude and racist towards Caucasians (primarily Caucasian men). I've literally seen instances of racism on there and have been called racial slurs by members associated with their groups when I try to ask them to remove certain pieces of content. I'm wondering why reddit allows these groups to exist? And when I tried to have them reported it seems my account was deactivated. If reddit hopes to be a legit website they should start making sure that members abide by all of their rules.

Posting on Reddit is horrible. Reddit just keeps getting worse. Nobody likes them anymore. Their moderators suck and Reddit goes against freedom of speech as they permenantly delete your account and are oversensitive baby cowards. I'm moving to. X.

Propaganda
June 23, 2018

Reddit used to be a site to see conversations outside the norm or pushing boundaries. Now since taken over the site is nothing more than propaganda pushing a single message. When r/pol was infiltrated, and people claimed hurt feelings were enough to censor and doctors message Reddit as a progressive platform changed; the powers that be realized that allowing people to spread information freely is dangerous, and the appeal is Reddit changed. Go to Reddit if you're trying to figure out what they say you should think.

Very bad
May 5, 2022

Video player lags a lot, cache doesn't cleanup after some time of browsing (causing major lag), text editor in commets is very buggy, replies to different comments, pasting doesn't work, pastes some random stuff and moves screen randomly anywhere. Will have to continue to use it for now, because there is no alternatives, but when there will be any will hop on a new one.

Want to place ads on Reddit website? Good luck with that. It is not only that ads have no conversion at all, it is even worse: they deliver some ads, show me a total of 18 Dollar used for ad placements, but keep charging me with 20 bucks week by week. They just take my money. For nothing. Support responds? Zero. Or a useless link to a support page with no relevant content. There are some other reviews about their advertising system, one was a real professional test with 250 Dollars spend, and ads submitted by very experienced online advertisers. Result: ZERO leads. No idea how they are even possible to show (or to pretend to show) ads some 10thousand times without getting just a single lead?

No way to escalate moderator who called me an $#*!. There simply is no escalation process for mods that are "jerks", unfair and doesn't do their job properly.

Aside from the frustrating experiences i had, i don't think reddit promotes a sense of community among users. Reddit encourages trash talking, tolerates sarcasm and wordings that i wouldn't let me kids hear.

More often, bad and insensitive comments are coming from mods

To many bots
June 1, 2022

I like tech so I visit sometimes but you will get attacked by the actual companies if you say anything perceived as negative and I'm guessing it's either bots or people that don't speak english bc they latch on keywords but don't seem to comprehend beyond that.

The karma system is abused, if you did say anything unpopular, expect every comment you have to be downvoted. It makes it discouraging to participate bc you can spend an hour tailoring a comment and people love it, only to be downvoted to pieces a month later for daring to disagree with something completely unrelated. This is exactly why almost all of reddit is low quality, nobody wants to waste time and be degraded so why even participate beyond low thought stuff?

This site has become so biased it's not even funny. Yesterday I saw a guy saying he was going to kill himself because of the covid mandates, commented and went back to see how he was only to see that entire group had been shut down because reddit doesn't like what they have to say about covid. If you don't agree with what mods think you will be banned, there's no diversity of thought and I can't wait for this site to fade into oblivion.

Reddit is just utter $#*! compared what it used to be. The app is completely broken and Full of bugs that have been there for years without fixing the issues. Constant problems with videoplayer playing in the background while opening other threads. Video player can't open up nor play. You can't sort anything on the front page by top, best or controversial on phone anymore. Sometimes I can't sort comments and sometimes I can. All controversy about politics aside, as a pure app and experience as a user, it's just completely broken and extremely frustrating to use compared to 5 to 8 years ago.

Again, the app just sucks

Mostly idiots
January 20, 2018

Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. In this case, too much anonymity means idiots gather to talk about stupid things. I've even seen posters brag about committing crimes. The cops should come here to get freebies.
