I had nine weeks to plan a wedding for my daughter. Being as you can't find modest wedding gowns in stores, we turned to the internet. I contacted several of the modest wedding gown sites, and Paul's Bridal is the only one who ever answered. In fact, every single time I e-mailed them, I had an answer from them within 24 hours. Whom-ever answered my e-mails was polite and professional. He assured me a rush delivery would be put on my order if needed. That helped a lot to calm my nerves down. The dress came three weeks before the wedding, and it was truly beautiful. The sewing was professional, and the hand-stitched work was lovely. It fit my daughter perfect, and the only alteration we needed was to have it hemmed a bit. I am extremely pleased with Paul's Bridal and would definitely order from them again. I am recommending them to anyone who wants a beautiful gown at a reasonable price. My daughter's dress was stunning.

I ordered a mermaid style dress with lots of detailed embroidery and beading. I was a little nervous and hesitant ordering from another country, but for the price, I took the chance. Paul's Bridal kept in contact with me through the entire process, always replying right away to all of my emails. They took about a week longer to ship out the dress than expected due to my embroidery being so detailed and due to the China earthquakes, which is completely understandable. When I finally received it, I was blown away! It was perfect and it looks like the embroidery was all done by hand... it is absolutely gorgeous and exactly the way I wanted it. This dress would have cost me at least $2,000 in the states, but I paid $292 including custom length because I am 5'11" and shipping! I am definitely shopping here again and am recommending this website to all my friends!

Great site. The wedding dress I ordered, came on time. It is a good quality dress, good looking and fitted perfectly. I am very happy with the dress because it looks like the picture, simply elegant. Customer service is good, they answered all my questions, this was my first order and I was really nervous and keep asking about the status of my order, I always received an answer. Thanks!

Very let down!

Very let down! After numerous email and telephone message left by myself requesting a return shipping address, I have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever. The dress was at least 3 sizes smaller than I ordered, therefore no good to me.
I ordered a standard size, therefore accoring to their small print, I should be entitled to a refund... how rude to ignore someone who cannot afford to throw away large sums of money on a dress that is unsuitable!

I ordered a second wedding dress to wear for the dancing portion of my reception from Paul's Bridal. It exactly matches the dress that I wanted and it looks absolutely fabulous and fits like a glove. The site said it takes about 3-4 weeks to make the dress and 1 week to ship. I got it in exactly the amount of time the site said. Thanks!

Paul's Bridal is absolutely amazing! The dress did come 1 week later then expected (getting the dress through customs takes a while). Besides that the dress is 180% gorgeous!

I was literally expecting nothing great since I ordered the dress online... I just thought I would take a chance... if the dress was horrible I only lost out a few hundred dollars. To my surprise the dress was absolutely amazing! It fit perfect and looks like a $10,000 dress! I can not believe how lucky I got with finding Paul's Bridal! I can not wait to wear it on my wedding day!

My dress was exactly what was pictured. I am a fashion designer with no time to make the dresses for my bridesmaids, so i definitely needed to make sure it was done right. The dress was very well made and I really didn't wait that long to get it, it took about a month!

My husband and i were searching for my gown online sept or october of last year.we searched more than 5 online shops until i saw a gown which is like the exact image of my dream gown so we decided to buy it.so my husband ordered it and wastold to wait for 4-6weeks and then 7 days of shipping. Then he got a notification from paul's that the gown was shipped already but then it was returned to sender 'cause they failed to locate the address.so what he did, he addressed the shipping to me here in the philippines. I was out of town when it reached my address so when i came home, i was stunned by what i saw.the gown was worth the wait and it's fairly cheap. Gown like these will cause me a fortune here in PI, compared to $499.and i will say, paul's made my dream gown came true.and though i waited for a bit? It's all worth it.we got married last dec. 29,2010..

I have 4 bridesmaids and i ordered on dress made to measure from the site to try it out and see what i thought before making any final decisions.
I was told the dress would take 4-6 weeks to be made and then 5-7 days to be shipped. So i was over the moon when i recieved an email to say my dress was ready and had been shipped 4 weeks after i had ordered it!
The service i recieved was amazing and i even recieved a tracking number for my parcel.
The dress is absolutely gorgeous and my bridesmaid fits it perfectly! (made to measure) I will definately be ordering the rest of my bridesmaid dresses as soon as i get paid! The dress is stunning! Thankyou so much for your co operation i am over the moon with my purchase and i wil be recommending this site to everyone! Xx

Wedding dress ordered for my daughter at the end of May arrived mid July and my daughter is over the moon with it. Paulsbridal kept us advised of delivery throughout the process and based on our experience we are very satisfied with both the process and the dress which is exactly what my daughter wanted and fitted perfectly.

I ordered my prom dress from here. I ordered it in the beginning of march and it came in the middle of April. I fell on love with the picture on the website it was purple and beautiful. So i showed my mom and she gave me the okay. When it got here i was so happy, i opened it and it was a whole other color. I called the company and he told me he couldn't change the color or give me my money back. So im stuck with a dress i dont wont. I would advise you not to use this site.

Don't waste your time and money. He chooses which reviews he posts up. I have cried for hours because I recieved a cheap version of the dress pictured that was silver, off-white, and zipper back. He confirmed when I ordered it that it was ivory, gold and corset back. I am sooooo unhappy. I agree witht the other reviewer. It is a one man circus. He is rude and hung up on us. It is apparently not returnable because he said it won't pass through cusoms to enter china for a refund. AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. A waste of my 400.00. Even more disappointing is that it took 10 weeks rather than 4 to 6 as promised. I am on a second paypal dispute with him. I wish I could post the picture of the dress so you can see. Its awful.

OMG! I FINALLY got my wedding dress after 11 weeks today. I HATE IT! It looks cheap, thrown together. Obviously patterned after the pic, but looks like a cheap knock off. I order custom made to fit me, and it is over an inch too big around my waist. I've had trouble for quite some time with the customer service guy, David. He speaks minimal english. I had inform him as to what a bustle is, and he couldn't give me any details on the dress. I have tons of email correspondence, so I can copy and paste it, if requested. DO NOT LET THI HAPPEN TO YOU! I don't know what I'm gonna do now, but I am devasted, and looks like $250 down the drain.

What a joke!

What a joke! I ordered a dress as shown in the picture and received a completely different color. The employee I spoke with agreed the dresses were two different colors but still argued and would not agree to return the $55 shipping cost. I ordered Ivory with dark tan beading and received pure white with silver beading. At first he argued that my dress was not white (even though the picture I send him was of the dress right next to a roll of papertowels). I finally got him to admit they were two different colors but he still did not want to refund the shipping. This company is rediculous and I would never suggest anyone buying from a company with such HORRIBLE customer service.

Ive asked twice for the return address so I can at least ship back this wrong dress and at least get part of the money back and they just ignore me. Rediculous. I have to spend $55 on shipping and then another $55 to ship it back (assuming I ever get the address). So Im out $110 for their mistake.

And on top of all this, I went into a cheap dress shop in my local mall and found the exact same dress for $120 when I paid $179 + $55 shipping. And they were the exact same low end quality with cheap bead work.

Buyers beware!

I ordered my wedding gown from paulsbridal.com. I am really satisfied with my wedding gown. The embroidery and the beading are just exquisite. The quality of the satin fabric is very good. My wedding gown was made to my measurements. I tried on this gown. It fits very well. Thank you so much for the good work.

Apparently a one-man circus, we only ever got emails from and spoke to one person. You don't get what you pay for - you don't get anything! They offer beautiful dresses at bargain prices the only problem is they don't deliver as promised. We ordered a ballgown and paid for expedited shipping 6 weeks before an event allowing plenty of time for delivery and any alterations that might be needed. The website's stated terms were tailoring 2-3 weeks (at the time of the order - since changed to 4-6 weeks but still inaccurate) and shipping times 5-7 business days and found out 2 1/2 weeks before the event that it wouldn't be shipped until 6 weeks after that for a total of almost 11 weeks from the time of the order. Then they charged us a $30 restocking fee for a dress they hadn't even started making and the salesperson hung up on us twice, we had to call from a different phone number to get him to even answer the phone.

Update as of 2/4 We have emails supporting all the correspondence we had w/Paul's Bridal and our charges. Also, he offered to make the dress up to fit our younger daughter for a beauty pageant, which we might have considered but the pageant is scheduled for before the dress could be finished also. It doesn't make sense that they had started the dress on 1/11 and then offered to make it up for an 11 yr old on 2/2. After posting this review we received a refund for the $30 restocking fee and these emails:
