Even though Online Metals is over the border, it's still cheaper than buying small quantities of material from Canada. Shipping is expensive but still the overall price is awesome.

Experience in order process and shipping was good. Still extremely unhappy with cost of freight that exceeded by far the actual cost of shipment.
I actually need more of the same item previously ordered but am seeking local or alternative sources due to the shipping cost. May order from Alibaba or Aliexpress if not local.

I usually have quick turn around and pretty good service with you guys but this project cost way more than expected. Parts took alot longer to turn around and when talking to associate the shipping cost was not quoted correctly. I was under the impression shipping would cost under $100 and it ended up costing more than the mtl even though you guys took a week to get this placed I paid the price it would have cost to just get a full sheet here locally. Your site only shows $10 as shipping I am guessing this is handling fee. Either way not happy with how this was handled.
We ordered 2 pcs of stainless angle 6 x 6 x.375 x 2" LONG
Would have been nice if you would have made both pcs the same.
One was bang on 2" but the other was 2.125" +/-
We made it work for our application but would have been difficult to trim the one pc had we needed to to get them the same.
When ordered custom cut pcs, Would expect a trim cut done and then the 2 units cut at the same time and length.
As this was within tolerance its expectable but not great on the customer service level i expect.

Ordering online was easy. I wanted to pick it up locally and when you get to the shipping portion of checkout you can do that there. Good pricing for the metal I needed and order was ready in 2 days. Pick up was a breeze.

Delivery was good, The problem I have had with online metals is that I was refused for opening an net 30 day payment account, We have been in business since 1980, And have always paid our bills on time or even before due date, I was given no reason why we were refused.

Sock material size per the website was ordered. After many back and forth emails because this size was not available the final material was more narrow and longer than requested. We ended up paying for extra material that was not necessary.

My latest purchase of a sheet of aluminum plate left me feeling I was way overcharged. I had asked for two pieces of plate, 13"x7"x5/16"thick. I received one plate that was 26"x7", so I had to cut it in half to get what I had ordered.
The charge for this piece came to $86.19, plus $48.93 for shipping for a grand total of $135.12. I feel that is an overcharge and I will be going elsewhere for my metal from now on if that is going to be your policy.
