The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I have been unable to receive the support on the website build that I was promised when I purchased the most expensive tier. I have been trapped into two part authentication even though it is not selected in my privacy settings. This keeps me from getting outside help with my website build. I'm extremely disappointed in this company so far. Hopefully someone can help me soon. BTW... I have spent hours on your chat in the site and still have not gotten help. Customer service is extremely friendly and that is the only plus so far.
It took me weeks to get my email migrated because your support people kept failing to update the back end, even with multiple chats. One tech suggested i do it myself.
I have been paying for a product that has given me nothing but hassle and nothing of use yet. Everyone I have contacted has spent time to help and been kind but nothing was fixed. Im constantly told to watch tutorials. If the live people can't fix it a recorded tutorial won't either! Ive been told parts of product are 3rd party and you don't have control over them. You do support and make money off these bunk 3rd party products that scam your clients! Im frustrated to say the least. Going to attempt one more time to create a useable website and hopefully change my rating!
The reason I am disappointed is because the prices increased and the service package size and options decreased. How is that fair. You've charged me 3 times what I am used to paying and all of the thing I used to have available in my active accounts I'm now being charged for them or they are removed. These are sties that are years old not new. They shouldn't be managed this way. You can lose loyal customers who would spend more doing this greedy disservice. It's criminal business practice. Just because it is common practice doesn't make it right
Migration taking ages - no resolution for me domain, I am not able to do anything with my domain and still you are charging me full with no shame
The connection response is a little bit slow. Some of the new features are being covered up that need to dig them out with some efferts.
20 years as a client. Any Issue has always been resolved. We utitlized the service for corporate business and clients
Purchased an SSL certificate for my site which I could not install. Requested assistance from Domain. They loaded it and crashed my website which then wasn't visible or accessible for 4 weeks. I couldn't even access the admin panel. They then charged me without authorisation for additional SSL certificates. In total I paid for THREE SSL certificates, none of which worked, were implemented or used. Their stuff up resulted in catastrophic damage to my business:
- the loss of access to my site at a critical launch period meant information sent out to potential clients was unable to be accessed and has led to a poor perception in the market and potential loss of income.
- The launch had 3000 flyers sent out with a link to the site which, after an action by a customer service member of Domain, caused the site to be unavailable. Another significant cost.
- plus the charges of not one but 3 SSL certificates, unused and cancelled.
After multiple interactions with the customer service team, acknowledgement that they charged me incorrectly, confirmation that they would refund all THREE, almost 3 months later I have one refund, some rubbish story that the other one has been refunded and that they are working through the remaining one.
There response today, we understand your concern, we'll look into it AGAIN. This is such a joke.
So confusing and all over the place. Not user friendly whatsoever.
Your chat protocols do not allow room to step away from computer and if you do the support staff log off because there has been no activity in 2-3 minutes.
The company does not have a direct contact number. The original number is for another agency and when call is transferred to domain.com there is no answer.
I paid for this domain over a year ago and have not been able to access my website to edit and publicize it since it was initiated. I have not received any assistance which I asked for and there are also attempts to charge my credit card for things I did not order.
Cannot access my website that I'm paying for. Says I need to verify that I own the domain immediately after I bought the domain.
This is my first experience with a web host that used templates. In looking at the code, there is much more code than I have expected. I have a great deal of experience creating from scratch a web page/site and uploading it to the domain on the server. I haven't looked for a tutorial on this provider yet but will.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
