Misleading company. They do not make returns easy or affordable. Bought a guitar and found out it was too big for my 9 year daughter and would have to pay almost the entire cost of the item to return it.
As long as you don't expect to get your items on time you'll be FINE. I would not have an issues, but the fact that I am paying for shipping the least you could do is ship timely and provide realistic delivery dates. Hopefully you will work on it for future.
Absolutely, unprofessional. I placed an order on 9/2/21, for discounted items. They guaranteed shipment. After calling twice, I received an email that the item is out of stock and will not be available until 10/10/21. I've placed orders for tge same item in the past and received within 10 days. No one even took the liberty of updating me. Similarly, the same product I ordered is now available for purchase on their website for the original price.
I will be finding another supplier for my business needs.
I have purchased many products from monoprice over the last 12 years. Most seem too be of good quality. Months ago I purchased a HDMI splitter from them, which didn't work. I emailed them and received a case number. That's where everything ended. I email many time over the following months with no response. I finally decided to call, I was put on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes, only to be disconnected. I finally gave up and took the loss. They have lost my business forever!

I have been very happy with most of my purchases from Monoprice. Prices vary constantly, which is a bit annoying. But my biggest concern was with a product that I just can't get to work. I posted a review of what I have tried and what my symptoms are. It was on their site, and I assumed it would be helpful to other people. They took it down! How can I trust their reviews if they took mine down. How many negative reviews do they take down? Mine was fair, detailed, and didn't say that the product was bad, just inadequate for my environment. I am puzzled, and disappointed.
Tried to return an item that was not working for me... the "return an item or order" link didn't work, tried another part of the website... said my order number wasn't valid even though it was and then called their telephone number and all I got was busy signals. This is not good customer service in my mind.
Update: Since this review, through Best Buy, I was able to contact Monoprice and they took the purchase off my credit card and did not request a return of the item... I guess because it was a very small purchase.
I've ordered several items from them and when the items work then they are great. When the products are defective then their poor customer service becomes evident. I've sent them a number of emails about defective products with no replies. Ultimately had to call them and even that was a challenge to get them to send a replacement. They used to have a real cost and customer service advantage but not anymore.
I got a Monoprice drawing tablet for my birthday and was super excited. I loved it for a while but it had spotty connections. I didn't even use it that often and it was awful when I started using it again. Then It just stopped working all together. It was with in the warranty time but they more or less told me i was out of luck. When I emailed back they just never replied. Oh on top of it all i went through 4 cords for it.
Based on the false description of a product on Monoprice.com web site, I have ordered some other unnecessary items. As advised by them, I returned them later, but received only a partial refund.
Since then, I tried to contact Monoprice Customer Service and Refund departments several times, asking for explanation, but with no luck. They stopped replying to my messages.
I tried to leave a comment/review on their web site, but they never published it.
I purchased these and some other items at Monoprice.com for a school, spent hundreds of dollars.
BTW, they still did not correct the wrong description of the item.
Monoprice.com seems to be an untrusted seller with poor Customer Service. Beware!
I bought some lighting and other items from these guys, including 100 ft of CAT5 for just $5. Most things that I've purchased have been probably under 20 bucks and they've all been good, so at least for inexpensive items you can't beat these guys. Sadly, people have a tendency to do reviews when they get mad about something and they've had a bad experience, so there are a lot of negative reviews here but they sell millions of products a year so keep that in mind
Musician here bought nice open back headphones that I love, input jack failed after 6 mos. Or so. Sent them back, 1 week later got brand new ones totally hassle free. Great service, excellent products!

I've used Monoprice for years for all my cabling needs. If you need an electronic cable, this is the place. Quality and service are excellent, products normally arrive quickly. Best of all, all cables are covered by a lifetime warranty. I've used that service a few times and it is hassle free. Fill out an on line form, submit, and in a couple of days you'll get a RA number (not that they have ever asked I send the non working cables back) and then a few days later your new cables show up. 100%free. During the warranty process they're really good about contacting by email to let you know where they are in the process.
They also sell other electronic items, such as headphones - I bought a pair of wireless on the ear that sound fine, for a great price. Amplifiers, antennas, and more, all at outstanding prices.
If you've never used them before, give them a try. They'll likely have the cable you need for a price that can't be beat.

Monoprice has great service because there fast and provide great info! They helped me fix my select mini v2 and what happened was that my nozzle was clogged and also the medal gate way part. It took them less than two days to help me fix it. I had to by a new set of parts that was only 40$

We purchased a 50' optical cable from Monoprice (via the Amazon Marketplace) to connect our new receiver to our TV. Even though we thought we were doing everything right, we could get no sound out of the receiver. We called Monoprice and, the young man in support helped us finally figure out what the problem was! The cable was not plugged in to the receiver as snugly as it should have been.
Will recommend Monoprice to anyone looking for the products they sell and will definitely go back if we need an item in their product line!

I use this monitor stand to hold my desktop speakers at ear level. It is adjustable in so many directions that perfect speaker placement is easy to achieve. The vesa plate rotates up flat, and provides a place to set the speaker. The build quality is good and the result is very solid. The only improvement (for my personal use) would be a white version so stand out less.

Awesome prices! I have ordered a good 15-20 times from them and never an issue. Shipping was fast and items worked great. MUCH cheaper than any store. Don't pay 1000% markup!
I've been shopping at Monoprice.com for years. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the prices are so good, sometimes I buy things I don't need right away. The site offers videos to explain how to use certain products, and if you need help, you'll get excellent customer service by calling the company. The "contact us" via e-mail through their website does not work very well (several times I tried it and got no reply) but the rep I spoke with on the phone gave me his email address and he responded promptly.

I received a 3D printer for my birthday (the Select Mini Pro to be specific) and it was defective. Returned with no hassles, and replaced within a few days. The replacement was very problematic and though it appeared to be functioning, it failed about 80% of the time. This is when Monoprice's tech support team got involved and my primary contact, Coty, was amazing. Ultimately, the printer had to be returned, but Coty's involvement was stellar. There were about ten different email exchanges between us, including several where Coty went to an associate for more help. They tried everything they could think of to get me through the problems and I cannot find fault with anything they, or Monoprice customer service in general, did while handling my issue. I'm disappointed the printer was sub-par, but that's the way the news goes. Monoprice still is top-notch as far as I'm concerned.

Answer: Hahaha! In my case, they just dumped my package at a neighbor's. Unfortunately, that property is vacant so I did not receive my shipment until almost two weeks later after the neighbor came to check on the property and found it.
Answer: Try calling their phone support is amazing. Their live support works well too depending on what it is.
