When it was MyYearbook, the site totally rocked. Between the gaming feature and the profile customization options, I spent most of my time online on this website.

Now, though, it's a piece of crap. I don't know how something so amazing could turn into something so... I don't even know how to describe it. Horrible? Stinking? Putrid? Basic? Something along those lines. MeetMe used to be great but I wouldn't spend time on there now if you paid me to.

So you attack some ppl you don't like but you do others are ok? Some can post bikini pics some can't some can be racist and ppl saying that's wrong get booted? I hope u know I've continued to keep a log of this app. You will eventually be sued if u don't restructure how you do business. This app is used but doesn't have allot of credibility and is probably one of the worst apps ever for customer service/relations ive EVER seen. But y'all obviously don't care. Has alot of options but crappy for any adult. Should be LABELED UNDER 18 only. Normal ppl can't talk on there

So many people trolling with shi**y opinions but I think they are just bitter because theyve realised that net dating isnt the be all and end all. MeetMe is not as bad as some here will have you think but it's also not as good as some lesser known sites, like wejustfit.com. Id say its 90 % about where you live and how many people are using the same website as you within a certain proximity. That and staying patient because no dating app is going to find you the one over night, it takes time and effort trying different sites at the same time and figuring out (after blowing a little cash here and there) which one is worth your trouble. No point coming to these review platforms and complaining, as with anything in life there aint no guarantees folks... but I can say (from experience) that if you find a good one they can lead to a fulfilling relationship. The rest is just up to you.

Chatted with someone who had S H for a name, but made me guess that "her" name was Laurie from Troy NY. After many back and forth "she " answered all my questions, told me "she" was like me and looking for the same as me which is a relationship. Sent me pics basically naked and pics at work. "She" would disappear and when I asked about it "she" would basically apologize and act like everything was all good. One of the last times was for 2 days and "she" came back saying hey, couldn't be on here, here is my kik Addy we can chat there...
I asked y don't we exchange numbers, told me "she" had my number already. I found that funny bec I never gave it... it stopped responding. Wasted a week + with a catfish... I closed my account.

Been on and off for a while. 100% of the women contacted are scammers. Same old story. Phone is broken, can't talk. Send pictured or video chats. They always claim that their parents a death and they all live with their aunt. As soon as you begin a chat, they immediately ask to switch to another chat website. There, they begin the scam, they fall in love with and tell you what you want to hear. After a while they ask for itunes card, cash, or bank account. In all the time I've been there, all women are, nurses and working in Africa. It's pathetic

Meet me would be better if they had message settings and actually blocked IPs of known sex offenders. Reporting an account does nothing when the person can just recreate it.

I like that the site is easy to use, But I don't like a lot of the users. I report any harassment but they just recreate their profiles to continue even if I've sent proof of the person being a sex offender.

I just ignore and block those as they come, so for me it's fine. I never agree to meet anyone until I know their last name and can properly look them up.

I ask a lot of hard hitting questions so I know who it is I'm talking to and I do my research, but not a lot of people do that so it's pretty unsafe since they don't block IPs.

I have had some really great conversations with humorous people so in my book the site is okay it could just be a lot better if they'd run it properly.

If they'd block sex offenders/pedophiles or give you settings options to manually block everyone over a certain age or the opposite sex(If you'd like to not get false reported by jealous girls/guys) then it could be a really great thing. But because they don't put in the effort to make it as such. It's just okay.

If you want to end up with a spy camera in your bathroom meet someone from meetme. Middle eastern predator trolls who stalk harrass and try to pass all your details onto other muslim men. If your unlucky enough to get harrassed into meeting one you will be stalked and harrassed by 1000 of their mates who will also find out where you live and then put your on a revenge porn site. Its crawling with sex offenders. I suggest staying well clear of this and other dating sites as these freaks hide on sites like this to stalk and harrass women. Most have wives and gfs at home yet pressure you to meet them or you will get endless unwanted harrassment with dxxk pics. Putrid site

There are a lot of scammers there befriending people and using other people's photos they are typical Africans trying to get money from people. With sad stories like they parents died when they were young, they have nobody in the world. Like really no relatives. Thats the red flags look for it then they say they have to go get inheritance in Benin Africa and a large amount of monies has to be paid for taxes etc. and their account it Blocked and the bank told them that they have to send a certain amount of money to unblock the account. PEOPLE DON"T FALL FOR IT! Once they start asking for money report them as spam or fake. These Africans are stealing people's Identity all over the world and deceiving them. Please beware...

It's obvious as soon as you sign up to a dating site like MeetMe why its so popular. It's addictive and fun and allows you to get all self indulgent. But after a while if you end up with no dates then you might as well be in an old school internet chat room. I've decided to give it up and go 'old fashioned' again for a while. If I have no luck ill go for something else, ive heard WeJustFit.com is meant to be as good as MeetMe or better so that will be my next port of call. Hopefully I dont need it though and ill be the one singleton in society that doesnt need to date online. I can dream.

Locked my account for no apparent reason I'm sick of this bull$#*! that's how they feel about me I am so pissed off I'm not gonna stop talking about this now I cant even go in my email either what type of $#*! is this I'm so beyond pissed right now they say I violated their terms... what terms I post my pictures on my profile I try to talk to girls that's it I give you ******* infinity stars. Then there's no way to contact them that's jokes. That was so over the line and I hope everyone be careful because I feel so violated right now and now I cant even get into my email because that's blocked too for no specific reason

After being here since the start of myyearbook I met a toxic alaskan named Becca Cook a smoker faced skeleton natural blonde hair works for anchorage dispatch news on facebook who knew how to abuse the system to get it to ip ban based on her making several hundred accounts all with same name and picture.

For nothing more then saying "Nice smile" I got blocked. So I blocked all the new accounts she'd made each time no interaction just a block and I was deleted and IP banned no reason given and considering that was the only stranger id ever talked to other then people I know IRL as friends and she kept viewing on a new profile each time. It all adds up.
