There is a glitch in makemytrip.com website when you select your travel date as 24th July your tickets will get booked for 25th July. I faced this problem and now daily calls to make my trip but they are not ready to accept.
I have also provided the screenshot for reference but they are just not accepting the same and neither coordinating with it. I have also told them I don't need a refund on it but just the travel dates should what I selected during the time of booking, but still nothing positive from their end.
Kindly book your tickets from other websites but don't ever choose makemytrip as they won't listen to your problem and what actual issue you faced. Actually to be precise they don't trust their customer. So be cautious whilst booking from makemytrip.com.
Never make a mistake using this site. They offer you deals that make your trips become nightmares. Lease you stranded in an unknowen City. Do not refund your money. Never return phone calls related to problems. Their supervisors are never available. Everytime you call and make a complaint you have to start over.
They tricked me and wasted a lot of my time by different answers. Still, did not refund.
If you do not want to feel frusterated and helpless... Avoid this dishonest company. They Do Not Make Your Trip... just take your money.

They are not very cooperative in rescheduling service. Rescheduling can't be done online.
They write the ticket is refundable even if it is not which is quiet misleading.
It is horrible experience to deal with them if you are outside india.
I wish I could give 0 stars, they changed flight time to chandigarh at last moment and car to manali takes 8 hours so it doesnot make sense to spend whole night in car, see manali in 1 day and then come back again next day, spending ******* for such bull$#*!. They were not even willing to give full refund or reschedule trip. It was my first gift to my retired parents, and MMT made it the worst experience ever.
First time i booked my ticket, no bording point mentioned, not valid phone number. What a joke this biggest private company has no direct customer care support! If you fill complain, it will take atleast 3 days, within that you can not query again. Now they will charge money if i fill refund form, but for what? Now i am not able to make another booking because of holy. This holy $#*!
It is not only enough to verify about make my trip but it is also mandatory to verify their partner teams especially for new places. They do but tension till last minute. Better verify the responsibility and quality of their partner teams before deciding,
I had taken a holiday package to Sri Lanka through make my trip and my worst fears came true. It was the most disorganized tour managment ever and the driver and guide cheated us on every single chance they could. Openly taking cuts from shops and small time vendors where we shopped. Taking long routes and avoiding major highways... making us pay tolls and Verbal abuses... that was the last straw. The driver cum guide had no idea about any tourist sites. Sub standard hotels were provided which located far off. Had to call make trip several times on the tour, send emails etc... had to pay a huge mobile bill... thanx to make my trip. Its been several weeks no one has even replied from their costumer care cell. One thing is sure I AM NEVER USING MAKE MY TRIP AGAIN
We wanted to book a hotel closer to Grant Medical College. The address showed on MMT website while booking was 2 km from the college and the also matched the confirmation message sent to us on whatsapp. However, the hotel booked by make my trip was 60km away from actual place. When we tried to contact MMT, no phone numbers were working, not even the one provided on the booking invoice! As a big company is this how you treat your customers? In a crowded, unknown city you promised to help us and then deserted the customers without even finding an alternate solution at 10pm! Do you really expect 2 females to travel 2 hrs late a t night, in an unknown city, to some far away place in search of the hotel which you wrongly booked? Why does none of your contact number work when we need help? This is very careless behavior of yours and very shameless.
Very bad customer service. MakeMyTrip seems to have a bunch of frauds. I have suffered mental trauma because of them. They ruined my whole trip. I booked my honeymoon package 2 months before the date for Thailand and I was told that if I'll pay the amount through HDFC they will return 10% cashback after the trip is over. So I believed them. But after the trip when i asked for cashback they denied it completely.
N also during the trip, I was asked to pay the extra money for luggage that was not mentioned anywhere in the mail and that too in that baht.
The worst thing they have done is that just a day before my trip they asked me for extra money making some transport excuse and told me to cancel my trip if i don't want to pay... now seriously how can you people asked me to cancel my honeymoon trip just a day before... for that i was planning from past 2 month. Please guys dont' relay on MMT for anything. Dont go behind their big name. MMT IS FRAUD... PATHETIC... LIARS...

Stuck with my refund.! I booked train tickets with MakeMyTrip but for some reason i cancelled that booking immediately withing 2 minutes. It happened since August month, today it is October i didn't get my money back nd they don't even reply my mails and calls. I tried thousand of time to have conversion with executive but thay don't reply. Never go with MakeMyTrip. Worst experience ever
I had worst experience with mmt. Their refund is not at all reasonable... there two convenience charges taken for my cancelled trip. I don't know what is that convenience charges is all about. I booked it as round trip but still twice the charges are taken. Customer care is not routed to specialist at all to avoid..

I had very recently booked a ticket from makemytrip.
At the time of booking there was an offer on HDFC bank card of cash back.
While booking my ticket it said when I had entered the code it said that the amount would be refunded at a later stage.
I did my booking but that amount was not refunded.
When I contacted them they took almost 1.3 months time and then said that the code was not entered.
If the code was not entered I guess they just have to check and that could have been clear in 2 mins, but for the same they took so much time and told me the same after I had taken the trip.

Because MakeMyTrip takes cares of their customers, Once I booked a cab, its services were also very good. And Customer Care are always ready to helping us if we have any Issue.
I booked a flight from USA to india. Called the customer service line to book it. Guy named Ishneet takes my request - i ask for Jet Airways, he says the total price is over $2500 (this is busy season it says). I am about to keep the phone, he says he just "found" better deal, another airline.
After i go thru that offer I finally take the $1950 ticket and pay for it.
Surprise! Next day i chk their own website and Jet Airways route as i had requested is not just available it is just abt $50 more than the rate i paid. I would have gladly paid that amount. The fraudster just pushed me to probably a route that was better for him/his company/whatever.
Dont trust these guys, I am NEVER going here again!
How do I escalate my issue to s senior management of MakeMyTrip?
I have faced an issue & not received refund for my indigo booking. Indigo has cancelled the reservation & we opted for full refund. They have confirmed that the refund has been initiated to the agency.
But the stupid MMT representative is saying they have not received the refund. Hence cant process it! Need Help..
I had to try a couple of times to get the return flight right on the itinerary. I had to ask for all the vouchers to be emailed as well. These were all minor details, but I would still highly recommend this service
Please beware while buying tickets from Makemytrip, I recently had a very-2 bad experience purchasing tickets from them. I had a death in the family due to which I had to travel from USA to India same day. Agent knew my urgency and lied that there is only one emergency seat left in flight and sold me the ticket for $3550. I booked the ticket,
Clearly with my situation I wasn't thinking right. I later on found from another travel agent (suggested by my friend) that for the exact same flight there were many more tickets available. That travel agent also checked my booked makemytrip reservation with Airline and found that actual ticket price was $1400 and rest was charged as service fees by the agent. After talking many times with MakeMyTrip, they keep on saying we will refund your money, but have not refund my money so far.
I was on chat with one agent of makemytrip. I was on chat for 5-10 minutes but from there side I did't got any response. Is this type of services provided by makemytrip. I mean If they are not giving me reply when I want to know about package then how can they help me If I will purchase the package from them.
Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.
