Mailbox Nationwide were supposed to have distributed 7000 leaflet, after serveral phone calls and emails we received nothing reporting back from them, and not 1 single contact from anyone who should have received the leaflets. Legal action to be taken, take your money and dump your leaflets!
We contracted this organisation (not sure of its' legal status so maybe check) to send out ******* flyers in London paying £420 for solus. Once paid, they didn't respond to complaints until we contacted their local trading standards. I went to about 10-15 properties* to which I have access (we are a property managing agent in the area) and talked to the tenants and not one had been received. This picture is starting to look as if it is replicated elsewhere. Subsequent to a posting in March we were threatened with legal action to remove our posting, which has prompted us to act on our original threat to begin legal action for breach of contract. We don't do this lightly but we allege that they have completely failed to distribute any leaflets and we are confident we can prove it. Exeter trading standards & watchdog have also apparently received a number of complaints about this organisation.
* we are now trying to talk to 100 local people, so far not one person has seen our leaflet before.
NB Looking at other websites it also appears they only pay their distributors if pushed hard and always in considerable arrears. It now seems they are using clever techniques to suppress any successful searches for complaints & reviews. They say they have ISO9001 but if you examine the website of the company that accredited it there is an overriding emphasis on consistency – whether consistently good or bad – as against quality. Also be careful of receiving their 'contract' without realising it – it is attached to their booking form but is not noticeable & doesn't print out; it would fail UCTA for consumers every day of the week but the test will be a little higher for B2B.
We are also taking legal action against Mailbox Nationwide.
We paid this company a lot of money to deliver 10,000 flyers door to door and they have not delivered a single one of them!
Were small start-up business in the local community and did about a thousand ourselves last year and had loads of responses, so for 10,000 to have gone out and not get one phone call is simply impossible!
We took it upon ourslves to knock some of the doors included in the report they compiled and not a single person out of 50 houses had seen or recieved our flyer.
Were going to take legal action against them.
Answer: Do we have any news on the cases? We have been using them for a year now and never got any sales out of them.
