Hallo! Ich schreibe aus der Schweiz. Ich war anfangs total begeistert und habe auch wirklich für wenige Euros und kontrolliertem Bid-Einsatz tolle Gegenstände wie Laptop, Fotokamera, I-Pad etc. kaufen können. Leider ist der Postversand in die Schweiz sehr teuer, sodass die Versandspesen teils höher waren als der ersteigerte Artikel. Zusätzlich kamen ca. 30 Tage nach dem Erhalt der Waren noch Rechnungen von den Zustellfirmen, die mir die Zollgebühren in Rechnung gestellt haben.
Schlussendlich habe ich noch immer tolle Waren zu guten Preisen erworben, überlege mir jetzt aber sehr genau, ob sich der Kauf über Madbid lohnt. Artikel mit Eigenwert unter Euro 250.00 lohnen sich für mich nicht bei Madbid zu ersteigern.

Getting the product delivered in hand within the specified time makes me feel rewarded for the worthy time I spent with Madbid, a genuine trustworthy auction site.

Misleading you pay for the rite to bid so the credits you purchase are a waste of money because you pay twice for your purchase there are only a few items at a time to bid for as this is a vast sit there are probably hundreds of thousands of people bidding on the same item you have more chance of winning the lottery! Take a look at closed auctions you will see items sold at a reasonable price so use this as a guide and bid on same item in the next auction very soon the price will rise well above the previous closed auction. AVOID 0

I have used MadBid and the only thing I have won has been a couple of credit packages. I was bidding on an iPad and a few times I was the last bidder and it said 'checking'. It stayed like that for about 5 minutes before coming up with someone else's name saying the same thing and seeing my bid about 5 bids down! I actually wonder if the winners are real tbh! I feel like my money was wasted on something that they have no intention of providing.

You have no reasonable prospect of winning.
The guardian newspaper has done a thorough analysis. You will be better off just shopping at more traditional sites across the Web. But of course who can resist the illusion of getting something almost for nothing.
Madbid's trick is to get you to part with your money and then point you to the fine print when you realise you've been had.
You cannot verify anything they claim as they hide behind privacy and confidentiality rules. And as usual on the Net you can never get hold of a human when you want one.
Do not believe the hype -they (Madbid) have paid for it.

I have used Madbid since before Christmas, the money you use to buy credits gets credited to you if you don't win an item you were bidding for, you have to use this to buy items in their shop at full retail price, but I figured If I didn't win I would use my earned discount for Christmas presents, so my family had quite a few food processors and karcher cleaners!, I have won over 25 auctions ranging from a camcorder to a Versace watch valued at over £1500, I am now biding my time bidding for the car they have up at the moment. You do need to invest in large amount of credits, but at the worst you end up paying full retail price for items
