You gotta love Macy's!

I have to say that I haven't actually bought anything from the Macy's website but I visit Manhattan 10 times a year and never, ever fail to visit Macy's when I'm there. The sales, discounts, amazing attention to trends and the beautiful, seasonally decorated store are not to be missed. They actually have THREE Mac counters there on different levels. It's awesome.

Bait and switch

False advertising and bait and switch at its finest. Would not recommend. Ordered one item (12 pieces deluxe) and they sent inferior item (9 pieces) probably hoping that I wouldn't notice. Never shopping at Macys ever again.

How many Macy's Shoe Sales Rep's does it take to return 1 pair of shoes I purchased on-line for 46.76? It took an hour ½, cost 4$ for parking (both at the downtown store and public library because I paid for each place twice), and incredibly my own initiative to resolve the problem, because none of their employees (including the manager) had a clue as to (returning a product purchased on line with a credit card without the receipt). What should have taken less than 5 mins cost me valuable gym time and study time. Here's how it happened; I got to the store, gym bag and shoe box in hand, I told sale's reps that I didn't have my receipt, but since I used a credit card, it should still be relatively easy to return. I explained, all they have to do is pull up my Macy's account, view the last 5 on-line purchases the shoes was at the bottom of the page, then scan the in store return bar at the top and the box. To make a long story short, nobody did what I suggested, they argued with me that I needed my credit card or receipt to return the item; the manager was called she was determined to support her workers perspective of things.
Fed up and frustrated I went back to the library, this time I went to my Macy's account on the public computers, printed out the transaction with an in store bar code at the top, took it back to the store she scanned the top of the paper and box, my register ask me to sign for a refund and I was done. I should have not had to go to the library twice to get Macy's information, nor print out a bar code to scan, if I am standing in Macy's store. It was a frustrating, time consuming, costly, and argumentative experience that could have been avoided if, the associate's had listened to an experienced customer on how to return on-line products—but they were too determined on being right. They were very rude, especially the associated name Pam # (*******), when I asked for the managers name and told her of my intentions to write a review, she adamantly told me in front of her co-workers that I was wrong "not them", that I shouldn't try to return anything without a receipt, I found her attitude to be condescending and extremely rude. I'm not a child, in this era of technology and credit cards, returns are rather easy even without a receipt (if the sales associates) know how to do their jobs, as I patently displayed in the end.

Horrible experience and customer service. Ordered items for 1-2 business day. Items were not received timely, fee was charged. Lot of unnecessary frustration. Dont waste your time or energy!

What a shame Macy's have Borderfree doing their shipping. I have been a long time customer here in Australia never had any problems until Macy's gave the shipping contract to Borderfree.
I hate to think that I can no longer order from them unless they can give me another option for shipping.
Please change shipping.

I have never had s bad experience shopping at my local macy stores. Great locations, easily accissible. Lots of parking options. I usually check out the sales in ladies wear and shoes; jewelry quality is satisfactory and also many sales. Checking out moves quickly and there is always sufficient staff and employee assistance. Returns go smoothly.

I could not log into Macys Online. It gave a number to call. Called the number - the 1st agent: barely intelligible with loud background noise. Tried to explain to him that I could not log in - somehow he could not comprehend this problem and kept asking whether I was having a problem with a credit card? Finally he transferred me (2nd Agent) was nearly screaming, also quite unintelligible. What seemed like a very simple problem - neither could fix nor even understand. Macy's has No customer service, it's only a waste of time, and I finally chose to shop elsewhere.

I ordered 2 items on Dec 12th 2015, received a shipping label confirmation, emailed the company about 8 times. I have not received an email from anyone in this company. It is now January 12th, still have not received an email from them, nor have I received my packages. I am at a loss here. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!
