I placed my first on line order with Macy's in December 2016. The items purchased were gorgeous! My cousin loved everything! Price break offered if order over $100 S&H free! Was a special holiday promotion. The gifts arrived in few days! Exceptional quality of products available. I would definately recommend doing business with Macy's again! It was worth it to not have to deal with crowds of people during the holiday rush!

I wonder that more people don't shop on line with Macy's. I find good bargains. But it is like any other retailer on-line or brick and mortar. You have to do your homework. I don't think I would buy Black and Decker small appliances from them, just based on price, but I certainly can find clothing and linen bargains. These are only examples, of course, and buying on line is not as fun as the in store experience of being waited on, and exploring items not on their web site.
Until today, I spent thousands of dollars a year at Macy's. I have had a Macy's card for 15 years. We are a family of 5. I've dealt with the selection downsizing the past 18 months but today was the final straw. I received an insulting letter stating that my interest rate is going to 25.99% APR. I called customer service and she stated that all customers rec'd this same letter to which I replied that it was absurd to treat your loyal, impeccable credit, lengthy perfect history customers the same as your high risk customers. I'm 52, completely debt free, own houses and 2 businesses, all debt free with the highest possible credit score and you hit me with a 25.99% APR and a humorous $3,000 credit line, whereas Master Card has had me for 10 years at a 7.99% APR and a $50k line of credit, not to mention Platinum AMEX. I only mention this because it shows the colossal disconnect between Macy's and its customers, which is a harbinger of things to come considering there are so many other options today to buy the same or similar selections. My phone call to customer service ended with me cancelling my card and my 15 year relationship with Macy's. She responded by saying that if I came back I would have to start all over with them again. I replied, "do you really think I am coming back? Save your company script for the next customer you lose."
Are you kidding me! What a $#*!ty firm. I have ordered some sneakers, and payed more than i should have. It toke more then 2 weeks for me to receive them and then I did I was SOMEONES USED SHOES! What the hell is this! I didn't order some used shoes! And when you write to their customers service nothing happens. So now I have shoes for 1600kr I a box used by someone. Very disappointed! Never macys.com again, i found brandcruz.com, lets see with this.
I have only purchased one thing from Macy's online. It was a closet organizer piece during the Holiday season. I chose the slow boat shipping option and earned five dollars in Macy money. It actually came in a reasonable amount of time. It was packaged well and I was happy.

Had the good Fortune of shopping at Macy's both at their Grand Manhattan store as well as the one in Long island and I must say the experience was great. The elderly lady at watches counter was so gracious and all the bling guys, especially thank one Young man who took great pains to help me select a winterJacket for my yohnge rBro.

I have never been disappointed with my purchases at Macy's. With the selection they have and they sizes most people need. If you check out their clearance/sale section off season you can really get some great deals.

I went to Macy's strictly to buy a pair of sunglasses. The man in that department was helpful but didn't try to push himself on me... Ii wasn't sure what brand I was looking for. I found a great pair of Ray-Bans at a reasonable price and was able to check out very quickly and get on my way!
I had a bedspread custom made in a material that isn't very user friendly. The shams are sliding down and it takes me a long time to make up the bed because it shows all creases. When I called customer service they said they don't usually make spreads. They could have cared less about my unhappiness. They didn't even offer to send someone out to look at it. True I saw material, however, I feel the designer is the professional and should have warned me of the practicality.of the material.

Excellent customer service, there was a slight hiccup with their online ordering and I couldn't get my order placed. I called and they apologized profusely and gave me a discount off my order, which I had not expected.
Ordered a dress and paid the extra $20 to get dress altered to size. Sent them all of the measurements that they required. Dress came in anbd couldn't zip it up because it is 2-1/2 to 3 inches too small. Wanted to send it back but read the fine print on their website. At their discretion they will return up to 1/2 of your purchase price. Also stated that size can vary from 1 to 3 inches. Who wants to buy a dress that could be plus or minus three inches. At least if it had been three inches too large I might have been able to take it in but three inches too small is for the trash can. Learned my expensive lesson, stay away from Izi Dress Sales and buy American.
I spent a lot of money in their stores, up until 2 years ago when their choice and quality of products seemed to decline. Their marked down inventory takes up a huge section of the store... says something when you cannot "give" away what you were trying to sell retail.
