I love Lulu's. I've figured out my sizing, XS in anything wrap and formal dresses, S in form fitting or bodycon. Lulu's pays for all return shipping. I've returned three orders and place one once or twice a month. I've never had an issue if I request a call back and they take 10 business days to refund money after the package is received. They cut off returns after you've had the package for some time but I haven't ever ran into that issue. It seems like a lot of people order items when they're in a rush for vacation and don't fully consider the time frames the store gives you upon check out. Then blame the company for being slow from their own expectation.
Many of the dresses and clothes are high quality and some are cheaper, you get what you pay for. Free people and Lulus brand have been my favorite. I returned a bathing suit for poor quality at $40 and a formal dresses for improper sizing but it was awesome.
Buyer tip: don't order clothes for a vacation 7-20 days before you leave and expect a company to ship everything and refund your money on your time. Read the small print at check out and if you're cutting it close... save yourself the time and worry and don't order it. Find it elsewhere. Amazon prime or shop local.
Love the ease of the site, but most importantly how they use their reviews as a major shopping tool. Love seeing other customers in the product for more relation.

Terrible customer service and lies! I spent $400 on four wedding dresses to try on. All fit poorly and I immediately placed them undamaged back in the bags and returned them within the 10 day window. Lulus claims they don't pass quality control because of pet hair and makeup (eerily similar to another reviewers post on a different website). They sent me two photos of one dress crumpled up with pet hair and makeup on it, without any proof that this item is mine. Also-why did I not get a refund for the other three dresses if only one of them has supposed hair and makeup on it. The kicker is I wasn't wearing makeup when I tried these dresses on and I do not even have a pet! This is obvious fraud. They refunded me with store credit which I do not want! It does not say on their website that items will not be accepted for a full refund. I am so devestated as I had planned on using the money that they stole from me to buy my wedding dress. Now my wedding dress budget is even smaller than before and has been tarnished by this experience. What kind of company treats their customers like this?!

My daughter is not a big dress gal, so she wanted a jumpsuit to wear for her 8th grade graduation. You had a huge selection and they come in xs that fit her perfectly.
Please I just ordered from them and I really hope that it doesn't not arrive past the end of may my prom is June 2nd i really need this to be on time. And I hope the size is right I ordered x small and it was the only one left so please I really hope I don't get some last minute email telling me there aren't any left in stock. The clothes from this website are very cute, and they seem reasonably priced, and likely are- for Americans only. I ordered two dresses, one shirt, and one necklace from lulus, totalling $164 USD.
I knew this would be more in CAD, but what I was not expecting was the additional $56 CAD I paid in customs. I was charged $218 CAD (conversion rate of 1.33) plus $56 CAD in custom fees, for a total of $274 CAD. That is almost double what my order appeared to cost.
Now for the worst part- one of the dresses fit weird on top, so I had to return it. I had to pay another $20 CAD for return shipping, and then when the dress was refunded to me, I was refunded $62 CAD- at an exchange rate of 1.24- so lulus uses a much lower exchange rate when returning items then it does when a customer is purchasing items. How does that make sense?
When all was said and done, it cost me $232 CAD for one dress, one shirt, and one necklace. Canadian customers- you are much better off going to Aritzia, you will think you are paying more but you are actually paying less, and for better quality.
I wish I had listened to the warnings of other reviewers. This website has the worst international process I've ever experienced.
I was extremely hesitant to shop at Lulus after reading the reviews but I ended up placing 3 different orders this month as I really loved their stuff and they had sales going on all month.
The only issue I had was my last package when I realized I never got a receipt as quickly as my other two. I had contacted customer service and the reply back was that they couldn't locate my order (but I was already charged)! My first thought was "wow all the negative reviews were right" sure enough within a hour, Tara had responded and asked me a few more questions regarding the order and together, we had found it. She even had it shipped with express shipping free of cost.
I couldn't believe how quickly they had responded to my emails and worked with me. Such a relief.
While some of their sizes didn't fit (I am in between sizes), it is so nice to have a company accept free returns and be trust worthy. I really appreciated their quick replies and their communication along the way. I was fearful it would be like a majority of other companies with an automated response. Tara is great!
I have always ordered from Lulus for couple of years now and I love their dresses and shoes and recently I was very upset about the duties and taxes that I was charged in Canada but lulus offered their help and were ready to help me with everything and I truly appreciate so much their help and I will continue buying from Lulus! If anything lulus has best costumer service!
I've ordered from Lulus maybe 3-4 times and this time will be the last. I ordered two things, they came, I tried them on when I came home from work. Neither fit so I promptly returned the next day. When I received my return update they tried telling me one of my returns was not accepted because the dress seemed worn. Now aside from the 3 minutes it might have been on me when I tried it on, it was absolutely not worn. I went on their chat to try to resolve the issue and the representative started telling me that the tags were cut off (not like those paper store tags, but the size tags sewn into the dress) and the little straps on the side you use to hang dresses were also cut off. I was completely astonished because I absolutely did not do this. The only way this could have happened is if they sent me the dress in that condition. The person on chat was not helpful at all and told me to call in instead. So I did call in and after some more arguing I was granted a "one time curtsy refund" Yeah it'll be one time because I will never make the mistake of shopping there again! I did not alter the dress in any sort of way and I just can't believe they tried to tell me I cut a bunch of things off it.
They are a complete SCAM.

I have been ordering from Lulus since 2011. I recommend Lulus to everyone I know. They are absolutely a legitimate company that you can trust with your credit card information.
My favorite clothing pieces are from Lulus and I also get the most compliments on my Lulus items. My #1 thing to order from here is definitely dresses but I do have a number of clutches, different jewelry pieces and a few tops as well.
I love the selection that Lulus offers as well as the excellent return policy.
I am happy that I can order from Lulus with confidence because they will allow me to return something if I do not like the way it looks or fits.
For the most part my sizing is always the same but you have to remember that Lulus sells items from different vendors so it is normal that sizing would be a little off... if I normally fit in a size large but I find that a vendor's idea of a large is not the same as some other vendor's idea of large and it does not fit, that is very normal and to be expected.
Lulus also offers coupons regularly-- the biggest I have seen is 20% off total purchase but you definitely see $10 off $100,10% off total purchase and 15% off total purchase most often.
I have nothing bad to say about Lulus. They are my favorite place to order from and my closet is easily 85% full of items I have purchased from Lulus. I am a Lulus addict.

Edited: My original review is below this, my experience didn't begin the greatest but customer service was able to turn that around! Less than 24 hours after posting this review, I had a reply from customer service stating that they had reversed my shipping fees ($12 US) to make up for the high customs. They also offered to pay for a tailor to resize my dress to fit better (as long as the cost doesn't exceed that of the dress). I can honestly say this is the best customer service I have ever received, and everyone I have mentioned this too has been amazed at how great Lulus has handled this situation. I will definitely be buying from Lulus again!

I ordered a size medium in the Mood and Melody Washed-Blue High Low Dress from Lulus after measuring myself and comparing it with the sizing guide. I was actually slightly worried it might be too small on me, as my bust measures 39 which would mean a large might be better, but since the rest of my body measured at a medium size I went with a medium. The dress, while gorgeous material and colour, is huge on me! The quality is definitely great, I have no issues there, but the sizing is so off that it's not wearable. At the same time I don't want to return it for a smaller size, because of the absolutely ridiculous customs charges. I went in expecting some higher charges because of reviews I read (maybe $15, $20 tops) and I ended up paying $32 in duty, almost 50% of the price of the dress. I love all of the dresses on the site, and was actually planning on ordering all of my bridesmaids dresses from there.
I am extremely frustrated and upset with my first (and most likely only) experience with Lulus. I placed an order last Wednesday evening and selected overnight shipping. My order was said to be delivered by last Friday, 9/17. I received a tracking number, however, no tracking information was ever available. I gave the benefit of the doubt since we are still in a pandemic and maybe UPS is understaffed. When I called Lulus on Saturday they began an investigation/claim with UPS and sent me out a replacement said to be delivered by this past Monday, 9/20. Once I received this tracking number the same issue occurred where I was unable to see any tracking information. The order was never delivered. I called AGAIN last evening and was informed a THIRD replacement would be shipped and delivered by tomorrow. I have not received an email with any tracking information and am not hopeful that I will have the order. I am extremely frustrated because I had hoped to have the order for an event last weekend and for this upcoming weekend. I have had friends who have used Lulus and never encountered an issue and I am really upset that my first experience has been so awful.

I bought two size small maxi summer dresses and they are both exactly same as the picture. They both needed minor alterations and the fabric is thin.

I have ordered from Lulu's several times and only recently had issues with two dresses that I ordered. One got a huge rip in the seam after only 10 minutes of wearing and another shrunk so short that it was unwearable even though I did not dry it and followed the washing instructions. Both if these issues should have been resolved with no problems however they initially refused to accept the returns due to it being over 10 days since I received them. After a few emails (and waiting days for a response) they agreed to a store credit if I returned the dresses. Nearly two weeks after I mailed the dresses back I finally got an email saying one dress had been refunded for a store credit. When I emailed about the other they stated that they only received the one dress ( I mailed both). So I then had to search for my mailed receipt with proof of weight that I did indeed mail both dresses. How does a company lose proof that I mailed two dresses? And why has it taken over month total to sort this out? I used to love Lulu's but unfortunately their lack of being able to correctly process exchanges and overall slow response time is a huge turn off. I guess we will see if I even get my full store credit for the items that I returned.
Update: Lulu's responded promptly to this review and is now refunding me for one of the items and doing a store credit for the other. They were courteous and I hope to have a better shopping experience next time.

Unless you have applied it to an order, it is waiting in your account for use. When you are ready to place an order, you will first click "secure checkout". This will direct you to the shipping page and then the billing page. Once at the billing page you will see you balance and a box to apply your credit. After your credit and coupon code is applied, you can either use a credit card, tab over to Amazon or Paypal.

Lulus reached out to me right away to remedy the problem. They clarified the reason and even provided a photo of the issue and are fixing this issue for me. I didn't realize there was cat hair on the dress (darnit cats!) and can understand their policy. While I wish they had approached this differently in the original email, I can understand needing returns in a certain order. Updated rating to reflect their speedy correction of this issue.
I tried the dress on once, immediately packaged it back up. Returned the item and was notified that it did not pass quality control.
There was nothing wrong with the dress, it was returned in the exact same condition as when I received it. And now all I can do is get credited (one time, as a courtesy to me apparently) so that I can buy something again from this site which I have no desire to do. I also was charged return shipping. I was a first time shopper hoping I had found a good site - but I will never buy here again.
From their email:
"Please keep this in mind for future orders that this was a one time courtesy. This would have been returned to you in regular instances. Your account has been noted. If this were to happen again, it would be refused and no refund given."
A "one-time courtesy" would have been refunding my money - not forcing me to buy more products from you after I feel like I've had poor customer service. If it had been handled that way, instead of in an email that seemed to punish and scold me, I might have felt different about lulus.
Answer: DO NOT ORDER FROM CANADA! They will charge you an insane amount for duties and taxes! I bought 2 dresses worth about $70 CAD each and I had to pay $68 CAD in duties and taxes! I've ordered from many other American companies and online stores and I've never ever paid this much is duty or taxes!
