Losing a pet is probably one of the most traumatic experiences possible. You feel so helpless. Where to look, what to do; how do you find something you love so much? When Stormy ran away, I immediately searched everywhere. For the next 2 days, I walked, called, and talked to everyone I could. I posted her on every site I could think of. After day three I started to lose hope. It was so cold and I felt as though Stormy was gone. Then that night I read an article on how dogs are resilient and find ways to survive. There was a reference to the site lostmydoggie.com and I thought to myself that I would do everything I could to get her back. So I set up a profile and purchased some other packages with my account. I wanted to get more information out to the surrounding areas. At first I was sceptical. But then on Christmas Eve day I received a recorded message with my dogs information and my contact information on it. Everything sounded legitimate. About two hours later my phone rang. I've been waiting for 4 days for my phone to ring with a strange number. When the man said he saw a dog matching my dogs description, I immediately drove like crazy to get to that area. After a brief search, I couldn't believe it, I found her. Both my dog and I cried and wimpered together before we finally were met by my wife with a vehicle. After I got home, I called the man back who spotted her and asked him how he got my number. He said he had a message on his phone, the same recorded message I received earlier, and after hearing it, saw my dog run through his back yard about an hour later. Unreal! Even after I found Stormy, I received 2 more calls from people regarding her that also received the same pet alert recording. I cannot thank lostmydoggie enough. The happiness is overwhelming. No doubt in my mind, a Christmas Miricle.

My Testimonial:
Update 2/21/15 tr - REUNITED
Thanks to a great community member, Sarah Showers, this kid has been reunited with his owner. Lil Man was found by Sarah in South... City on Michigan and Holly Hills. Social Media once again has prevailed. Thank you to Kathy Duncan for her keen eye and staying on top of it. It is obvious how Lil Man wound up in South City, they even changed out his collar. But thanks to a great community of dog lovers, they have been reunited and they were both very excited to see each other.
Sarah and Kathy Dunkin are two angels sent from heaven. Such a great reminder that there is still caring people out there in this world. Living in Ferguson Mo with the things I've seen lately; that was a much needed reminder. I frantically searched for Little Man since Monday night; while Lue Lue (my cat) and Patches (my other dog) sat each day looking out the window hoping Little Man would come home. I took off work and drove all day and night searching and posting flyers. Getting leads while searching and jumped on each one; but only to come up with false sightings. At one point during my search I realized I drove non stop for 8 hours. Then came the storms and cold temperatures made me worry even more. In addition to washing many of my recent flyer postings on poles; I had to go back and redo them. Of course thinking a little clearer, using sheet protectors this time. I must have visited over 100 light poles and even trespassed on private properties. Thank god I wasn't shot. But paying a few hundred dollars for one of those pet search services recommended by the St, Louis county animals control was a very smart move. My flyer went everywhere with calls made out to 5000 people. I even met many people that received the call from the service I was provided during my ground search. Yes, social media worked and basically gave two caring people an added means of being caring as they obviously are in their daily lives. Yes Sarah and Kathy found my Dog who has been a family member for over 6 years. I owe them a great deal of gratitude for bringing my boy home. Kathy with her caring heart and good eye and Sarah who was even able to catch my Little Man, which I know is a hard thing to do. Plus her quickness and her kindness to drive the long distance to get Little Man to me so he could get his medicine he desperately needed was just great. I think Sarah probably realized at this point I would not be very good at comprehending directions, so she brought my boy home immediately to me. Yes, there are still caring people out there in this world. I found that out today. Thank you so much Sarah and Kathy for bringing Little Man home. Lue Lue and Patches thanks you too. Though Lue Lue is still a little pissed at Little Man for running off. She even hissed at him when he came home and she usually hugs him all the time. I think those two are in love.
My name is Lorenzo. My dog went missing a week ago, and he was back in my possession in 1 week with the help of lost my doggie.com. I filed a police report and checked the humane society but no one had had seen or heard from my missing dog. The nice lady told me to go to lost my doggie.com website and I could post his information and picture there so that flyers could be made after I printed them off the website to put up where I wanted them. That site also post your information to the vet clinics, humane society, animal controll, I think the dog pounds and pet shealters. They also sent out phone called alearts to people in and out of the community with your pet information describing your missing pet and and contact information. After I posted the flyers up in my community and other communities and a few places for the public to see with a nice reward people were calling me thinking they may have or saw my dog but when I checked it was not him. Just when I felt like I was never going to get him back a nice civilian called me up and said that he think he has my dog. I had him to describe him to me in detail and send me a picture of him and it was a exzact match. I still needed to see the dog in person to know for sure so he sent me his address and was waiting for me to get there. As soon as I got there when I saw the dog I knew that he was mine. He went from being happy to a super happy dog to be reunited with me his owner. The nice old man collected his reward and we went home. I was so happy that this website help me put the word out along with me doing my part to find my dog. If not for the photos of the dog that I posted I may have never gotten him back. My dog was like a family member to me because I have had him for so long and he has been in the family for so long. Before I had him my brother had him. Before my brother had him our 1st cousin had him, and before my 1st cousin had him his 1st cousin had him. I was his 4th and last owner who was able to give him love and care and his permanent home. I just want to thank this website and everyone else who help along with the person who found him and returned my dog back to me and to his home.
This site helped me find my dog before it was too late.
Thank you LostMyDoggie.com!
On May 10th one of my neighbors called me about a stray pitbull she saw at the end of our block. The dog looked as though she had been hit by a car due to having a grease mark on her injured shoulder. She was walking slowly and appeared real sore. I went over with turkey sausage, some ground turkey & a Tramadol for her pain so we could try to catch her & help find her owner. We called Erin, owner of The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. rescue group to ask for her help. Erin rescues many dogs found as strays on the streets and finds their owners or finds them furever homes. Erin sent her son Cole to help us catch the dog. Within about 30 minutes Cole was able to get a leash on the dog. I was totally impressed with his patience & dog catching skills! He took her to their facility in Inglewood where she was examined by a vet & deemed to have no broken bones but just some soft tissue injuries.
I put up about 30 flyers all around my neighborhood. I put a flyer on a few dog finder websites.
I FINALLY got a call today from a woman saying she saw my post on lostmydoggie.com and knows who the dog that I found belonged to. She gave me the person's phone number so I called him. I then forwarded him Erin's number & we have an incredibly happy ending as of today!
Mona Lisa is her name. Apparently her owner was in a car accident on May 2nd. Mona Lisa jumped out of the car & took off likely due to the shakeup & fear. Today they were incredibly happy to be reunited! Here is a photo of them in the lobby at Lovejoy Foundation. If you feel it in your heart to to send a donation to Erin, any amount is a perfect amount! www.lovejoyfoundation.org
Erin does great work & deserves much credit also for this happy ending! THANK YOU Erin Lovejoy & Cole and to my neighbor Moneypenny! It takes a village of animal lovers!?
Thank you to LostMyDoggie.com as the woman who saw Mona Lisa's flyer saw the ad I placed on your website!

My mimi wandering around and lost for days, good thing they her back. Awesome!
Answer: They have free services and priced packages by tier. We paid $150 for their biggest package.
Answer: The pricing tier that you choose determines how many people are contacted: the higher the price, the more people are contacted. When you sign up your missing pet, you enter in the last seen address. I believe the Amber alert starts with that general area and works it's way out.
Answer: They send you email with all the people they contact.
Answer: They posted to vets, nearby businesses and so many lost pet websites. Saved me so much time and it was quick and they created fliers. They also sent me the list to prove it, which I verified some. They also were in touch with me and sent photos when a dog matched my description. I can't say enough about them... they rock!
Answer: Company emailed & called to let me know she was possible located. Gave me the finders info, I called the person who found her and we met up!
Answer: Great because we have less neighbors nearby so the area covered is greater due to starting nearby and spreading out until they contact the number requested. Populated cities will have smaller radius for same number of amber alerts.
Answer: I paid the finder personally using their cash app once my pet was found. I'm sure other payment methods are ok. That's the one we agreed on.
Answer: I don't know the answer if it is part of PETA or not.
