I have placed several orders for a variety of products in the past few months. Quality was great and prices were very affordable. Shopping from the app gives access to substantial savings. Highly recommend the site.
I am a size 12. The extra large only went to the sides. About 30" was wide open in the front. Cute styles but far from American sizes. There is no invoice e information inside the package where returns are difficult so is easier to keep it and eat an order you can't use. Never again
I ordered three shirts. Promotional photos showed a "3D effect" - quite novel and interesting. The shirts that arrived were NOT anything like the character or uniqueness of the products shown. No 3D affect, "muddy" colours. And the fabric had a cheap "plastic"-like feel - the cheap plastic-like fabric didn't need "care instructions" which were not fixed in the garment. I had to snip off trailing threads.
No label - only size, suggests a cheap factory in China (where product came from) that makes anything for anyone at lowest possible price.
Complete rip-off. One of the three was so disappointing I considered just throwing it away. We're talking REALLY disappointing and not worth wearing. But will use it on cleaning days.
The mismatch between online pics and delivered product is so great I would not buy from these people again.

Awful, Order processing took forever, shipping took even longer.
Sizes are tiny and not accurately represented by the sizing guide.
Returns process is then so convoluted that they are clearly just trying to make it too hard to send anything back. Would not recommend this or any other products on the site

To my surprise the two items I ordered were custom made and therefore non-refundable. If you are looking for something you might return, make sure your item is not "Made to Order". Customer service worked with me to find an adequate solution, but I wish I knew this information before ordering.

Update: Although it took time and much correspondence and persistence the LIB supervisor refunded my money for the purchase (wrong color dress shipped) and my shipping costs for trying to return the item in good faith. I'm encouraged by this and will likely order again. This is how customer service should work.
They provide detailed instructions. You'll spend $60 in shipping to China to return only to have your package come back! They won't respond to your emails or website requests with photos of your damaged/wrong items. If you like what you get (and some of their stuff is good), it's good but if you don't you're HOSED by this company. They'll also say "sorry your ticket was not received; submit another one here and the link is invalid every time"

I have always wanted an outlet that stocked and sold flashy, quality clothing for men. Light in the Box does that and more. From flashy to conservative men's wear, this is the only outlet that you'll ever need. I can't go a day without checking their site to see what's new and/or what I may have missed! Sizing can be smaller than North American size so that's something to be aware of. I always order 2 sizes larger when dealing with jackets. Everything else is very reliable. Love this company!
I ordered a black shrug and received a red one. It was for a special occasion. This company does not give refunds even if the error is their fault. You are requested to send photos of the item received. That does not work. No matter how many times you contact them. I received an emailed coupon for $6 to use on any order I make that's over $25. What! Why should I have to buy something else. I just want a refund. Never order from Light In The Box. You'll be sorry if they screw your order up because you won't get your money back.
My red skirt arrived as expected and it's just like the picture. I have this skirt in 4 colours and wear them for latin dance practice. They move really well, are very comfortable, and can be machine washed (hang to dry!). My coach likes it so much he recommends it to his other dancers!
I would strongly suggest not buying anything from this company. I originally ordered this polo in size XS because that was the size indicated by their sizing chart. It was too small, so I exchanged for a size Small. They told me to keep the first one and they sent another. Oddly enough, though the Small was a bit larger across, it was shorter and had smaller arm openings than the size XS. In the photo, the shirt on the bottom is the XS, the shirt on the top is S. I requested a refund since neither of the shirts were of any use to me. They very politely responded that they would send a refund for my purchase when they received the return. It was my responsibility to pay for shipping it to CHINA! (even though it was shipped from a US location.) They estimated the shipping charge to be between $10 and $40. Alternatively, they would refund 30% of the purchase price. So, basicly, it cost me $33 to have the experience of dealing with them for the past several weeks. Too bad, sure would have liked to have a polo that fit. They are cute. UPDATE: Upon seeing my review, Lightinthebox contacted me and indicated that they would refund my money if I would revise my review. After the refund was received, I went back to their site to revise the review and found that it had been removed. You should be prepared to have to be persistant with this company to be sure that you are treated fairly.

I'd give them no stars at all if that was an option. I've ordered clothes and a light fixture from LightInTheBox and both have been bad experiences. The clothes are of very poor quality and cheap materials. The light fixture didn't come with instructions. They only provide customer service via emails. When billed, the charges are coming from a US address, but it is very obvious their site and customer support are from China. After several attempts to get installation instructions, they sent a blurry one-page pdf with instructions that have horrible grammar and basically, illegible. Also, turns out the light fixture wiring does not meet U.S. wiring standards, nor do the wires have the correct "ground/hot" connections to connect properly. They have a no-return policy for any light fixtures. I'd suggest buyer beware; spend your money elsewhere.

Ordered Christmas shirts on November 28. Still don't have a shipping date as of December 12…. Emailed them for an eta and I got a return email stating that it would be another 24 days to ship…. Had to cancel my order to try and get a refund through e-mail because there isn't a customer service number to call…. I do not recommend this company. Don't waste your time or money. Ridiculous

This is an updated review: Buyer beware. Purchases from this company are VERY DIFFICULT to return. I had a nightmare situation where my item return was sent back to me after sending it to a China Warehouse. It took 6 months of frustration trying to get my money refunded as they promised within their awkward ticketing system. I finally found a way to send a message to a supervisor and at the same time, wrote my harsh review here. I'm not sure which was more effective, but they quickly refunded both my purchase price and my return shipping. I felt ignored, but finally they made it right. Just note that anything that might not work (my items were non-functional) could be a big headache for you. Before this experience, I did have another purchase that was shipped quickly, worked, was exactly as described and I was very happy. The 3 stars is an average of both purchase experiences.

Bought 2 similar dress in xl. One is more to m size and another is s. But on packing both indicating xl. Material is very poor with bad sewing. Paid A$18 for each. Probably would not even pay A10 for it. Will not shop from this site again. The shipping cost was A$17. Can't even return.

I ordered quite a number of items from Lightinthebox.com, I wish I'd bothered reading independent reviews before ordering. Most of the items are of very poor quality, some seemed like they were sown in a hurry with lines not straight and dangling threads. There's no quality control so be prepared and buy without any expectation if you have money to waste. I have an item that was never delivered but lightinthebox has not even bothered to reply my complaint weeks after. A bad way to waste your time and money.

Bad return policy. I don't want a credit for future purchase when the items received doesn't fit. I will not pay return shipping for items I already paid to have them shipped to me. Any efforts to get a full refund is denied with your return policy asking me to do your work by taking measurement and sending photos of proof because you got the sizes wrong in the first place. This is another way to scam people out of their money. Two separate items were order, only one was receive. They did not offer or even try to replace the item never received
Too many issues with LightInTheBox. First, the quality of the dresses I received are horrendous. The images on the LightInTheBox website do not at all resemble what you receive. Please refer to images attached. And yes, these items really did arrive looking like the wrinkle ball that is shown in picture. Next, prior to shipping out my order I requested they remove an item. They ignored the request and shipped the item along with the other items. Lastly, I requested a return. My bad in not reviewing their return policy more closely, however, who would have thought a company would charge for a shipping return these days, much less to CHINA? My advice, shop somewhere else where the quality is a priority, and shipping cost returns are happily accepted, as is with most US companies.

Ordered a bathing suit that had a big gap on the side of breast area, definitely a quality issue. Tried to process a return to no avail. Then I looked online for tips to return, all negative comments, too much effort without returning successfully. I will cut my loss as time is money. Don't buy from this company, quality of clothing I bought is not great, its Chinese rubbish. 1 item was described as a Sweatshirt, nothing like a sweatshirt, more like a t-shirt & printed t-shirt I ordered was really rubbish quality for the money & too small as its stretchy. Sizes are not great either. They make it extremely difficult to even find the section about returning items & then when you submit the form they say you have to return to China at your expense & will probably cost you more than the products worth. Instead they offer you a max 20% discount on buying again! What a joke! Avoid this company, don't know how they get away with it. Never again will I order from this company. Rubbish quality & service.
