Product was installed today. I don't know how it performs yet.
The screens have only been installed for several weeks and we had our first storm. The only issue during the down pour is with a section that has 2nd story down spot the funnels into to the porch gutter. The screen could not take in all the gushing water fast enough and the water ran over the leafblaster screen and not into the new 6" gutter. This created a lot of water on the ground below.
Installation was just completed. I'm very happy with the product but I guess fall leaves will be the big test.
The down spouts were not tacked down in two spots on installation. I called the installer and they came out and corrected the problem. It has been less than a year and leaf debris has clogged the drains ( I have a leaf guard on top). Water flows over the top as if there were no gutters. Called the installer, and he could not give a time of repair. Best he could give me was 1 or 2 weeks maybe.
They have just been installed and look good. Will know more after we go thru the season of heavy rain and Fall leaves.
We just got our new gutters and LeafBlaster Guards. The build quality is great and we are loving the way our tree trash isn't ending up in our new gutters.
I just got it and it looks great! I do have an active cottonwood tree blowing stuff on it, so I'm anxious to see how well the wind and rain get rid of it.
Could see it did the job after our first hard rain!
We have a large Live Oak overhanging a large area of our roof, including a long valley that will collect the majority of the these small leaves that have fallen. We must clean the gutter/screen at the bottom of this valley, but it has been between these cleanings where these screens impress! There was approx 1" of leaves on the screen (below the valley) just prior to the rain. The deck just had the leaf blower put to it and was clear. Started raining, then a down pour. A rush of water came down this valley, blew out the leaves while staying in the gutter. Stood there and watched. Could not ask for more. Pricey, but the REAL DEAL!
Just had them installed. Let's see how they work once it rains and all the pine needles fall off my trees.
Installer did a great job. Installation went smoothly and the LeafBlaster product should do the job!
So far, very good... i'll let you know how they do in a year.
Answer: White pine needles do penetrate through the screen and get stuck.
Answer: Yes, but you can bend them and attach to the fascia instead of going under the shingles.
Answer: The only comparable product that I am aware of is Leaf Filter, which is outrageous in price! LeafBlaster is a MUCH better value than Leaf Filter.
Answer: I saw his employee at a neighbors and saw the excellent work he did.
