I ordered the box just for 3 months, because I thought when it'll arrive it's gonna be really small box, so I don't want to be disappointed. Well, even though my January box was so late. As I think they got some issues with the shipping courier. I am in constant email with their customer support and they actually explained everything and letting me know that boxes will arrive late due to Japan Post canceled their service with them. But then they ship it to DHL and I am pretty much happy with it as I have tracking number. Hope they send all my remaining crates to DHL. To cut the story short, I waited for my tracking to populate. I really don't mind waiting as long as it will arrive. And now, I just received my box and I'm actually surprised as they put lots of stuff in the box and for the price it's really good, and I am really amazed + you get a bonus in my box. After I collect all the box, then I will definitely subscribe back.
I finally writing something good after a couple of crates that i received. Just want to tell that Japan Crate is amazing. I ordered 6 months subscription of the Premium box and this subscription is yet the greatest box that I subscribed with. Highly recommended. The Premium snacks was absolutely amazing. We haven't had similar before with other subscription boxes that we have and this Japan Crate, we have loved the first 3 so far! Cant wait for the next crate.
My noodles pack just got here and I am so impressed! There were many variety of noodles and ramens in the box and the box arrived quickly after I ordered it. I will definitely renew my subscription boxes and upgrade to prepaid soon! Thank you so much Japan Crate.

Got my first box after a long wait, still grateful even though my post was so slow due to the covid restrictions. Where first order was shipped and received more than a month of ordering. Anyways, I ordered the Premium box. Everything is still intact and secure, no damage and everything still edible. Thanks to the secure packaging and strong box. Chips and chocos in the box was tasty. What I like most was the little leaflets with all the information of the items and they also included some cool facts about Japan. Everything is great.
Customer support was superb! They keep calm and professional even though I send them a lot of emails regarding my delayed crate. But still they are so patient with everything they do. I finally receive my last crate out of the 3 crates I ordered since December. I waited for the last crate for so long and I though im not going to receive it anymore. Glad that their customer support is not missing any reply in my inquiries and nagging about the tracking. Customer support gave me hope. So now since I got all my crate, the overall experience of receiving Japan crate is absolutely amazing. It was pretty good. Satisfaction guaranteed. The items are in best quality. They really put effort and detailed attention in every bits and pieces of the crate. I like Japan in general, especially anime (not a weeb tho), and japancrate basically Japan compressed in a box, so it's really cool. Will subscribe again when shipping is back to normal. I was so excited when i saw the site. So in short i ordered the Japan Crate Premium box. Because why not? Knowing snacks from Japan was so unique. Who would not try right? So when the box arrived yesterday, im so excited and so happy. I fetch it from our local post office and when i opened the box, i am so delighted and excited. I shared it with the family and we really enjoyed the snacks and chocolates. So just letting you know that i ordered for 3 months. And now im really excited and looking forward for my next box.
I got the Doki Doki crates, and while being cute, the items they pick feel cheap and unsatisfying. Especially for the price that you have to pay for them. On top of that, they no longer offer free shipping so you have to pay a ridiculous amount for your box. As well, the boxes are frequently delayed and never on time. I had to wait 8 weeks for my July crate instead of 3-4, and I am currently waiting close to 6 weeks for my August crate that has yet to arrive.
Today, my subscription plan renewed for 6 months, and I tried to refund the subscription because of the absurd shipping costs. Of course the Japan Crate team did not give me a refund, and I am very disappointed and frustrated in the lack of empathy of the Japan Crate support team. I will never buy from them again.
If you are considering trying them however, first look at other cute kawaii crate options out there. There are MANY cheaper options that come with free shipping to any country! This business is such a rip-off.
It was such an amazing and happy journey with my subscription to Japan crate. I had a wonderful experience with them. Seeing my collections of the toys and plushies in my bedroom are such an awe. Its been 2 years I subscribe to them. Unfortunately, Í need to cancel my subscription as my room is already full and shipping money is tight. I'm drowning with the plushies. I ordered a 2 Umai crate for myself and my best friend and in which both box arrived in a separate event. I emailed the Japan Crate why I only get 1 crate before and they immediately explain me that the other crate was still in transit. So, to explain by the customer support, crates are being shipped by batch not by any chance that by the customer even you have more than 1 crate. Well, it ends up very good as I got well informed from it. Communication by the vendor was great. Both crates received as I said, no further complaints whatsoever. Bff's happy with my gift. Crate was perfect and items are quality. So, definitely I would recommend this vendor.

First of all, I'd like to sent my appreciation and love from all the hard work you all do in Japan Crate team. I received my March crate after a long wait and I will honestly say that despite the long wait of shipping, you guys still manage to sort things out. I actually lost hope of getting my crate. But to compensate things out, my 3 Mini crates that weren't delivered were replaced with 2 Premium boxes. I wasn't expecting to be replaced with a big box. I'm surprised and so happy about it. Your customer services is so amazing even I'm rude to reply to them but they're so polite and apologetic from what's happening with the shipping. With regards to the crate, the packaging is amazing! Levels above any snack subscription box that we have tried before. We are completely impressed with all the detail put into the box. We LOVED the box! The variety of snacks was fantastic and we love the addition of the drink! Will subscribe again when shipping to Australia is back to normal. Keep up the good work Japan Crate team.
I previously had a subscription to the Doki Doki Crate right before the pandemic affected shipping worldwide in the spring of 2020, and I still ended up getting both of my boxes with no problem once they were able to find an alternate shipping method. I love all the items I got (I still use my Rilakkuma spinning pen organizer every day for work!) and thought the price was well worth it, but needed to cut down on spending at the time. I'm looking forward to receiving the March 2022 box now that I have more room in my budget!
I ordered Doki Doki crate last month for my daughter as she is mad about it when she saw the ads in you instagram. Just letting you know that I received the crate and my daughter was so happy. The quality of most items is not just aesthetically pretty but also good quality. Most of the stuff I received so far are practical and useful. My daughter love it so much and she even ask me to subscribe for another month. Well, that's what I'm going to do as long as my daughter is happy then Mom will be happy as well. Will definitely renew my subscription.
I ordered Japan Premium last August and took time to receive it or either lost during the shipment. I sent an email and complain to their support about not getting my crate. The customer support responded quickly with my issue of not getting my crate on time. They are nice and professional and also apologize a lot when they replied and they promised to send a replacement crate. Very satisfied with the service. I was able to resolve my issue easily and they replace the lost crate.
Now, that finally I got the replacement crate after 2 months of waiting. The doubt that i had was all gone. Legit company and they are amazing. Great customer support. Definitely will recommend.
Website is easy to use, crates are on point. Crates that we've ordered are Premium and Umai crate and arrive in good condition and in good time. We are taken back to our trips to Japan last 3 years ago when we eat some of the chips that we bough from a local store. Would recommend to anyone who wants the taste of Japan to US. So happy to have found Japan crate. Product I ordered was the June Umai crate which I ordered late May. The selection of noodles are absolutely amazing. I love the extra recipe card they included in the box. Also the cooking instruction of each noodles. This makes the crate super amazing. Love how they pack the noodles and its very neat.
