Loved ign, but over the last 5 years their ad policy has become the most intrusive in the gaming industry, so much that u cannot even scroll down the page without it stuttering, reloading, ads auto playing. It's basically greed, if u need that many ads to keep going, ruining your customer experience, then hey, lower your outgoings/employees/greedy shareholders etc so you can deliver a half decent service. Most of the decent reviewers have lefts it won't hurt the business if you let a lot of them go. But hey, greed will always come first, especially for American companies
My favorite thing about this site is their extensive coverage of different gaming platforms and devices. Content are concise and straight to the point. It's nice how they're always up to trend with recent releases of games, movies, and other entertainment.
As a gamer, I'm impressed by IGN's capability to deliver consistent reliable resources for the gaming community. The video and podcast also adds a unique element to what they cater because not every gaming news site have these features. I do hope that they improve the loading speed on some of their pages because it may take some time to load.
It's a pretty good and entertaining place to check up on to stay up to date with the latest news in the gaming world. They also have some fun content on their youtube channels and in other social media.
Game reviews are just so bad across the board and IGN is just the epitome of it all as they seem to rate games slightly higher than everyone else while being the most known. There's only a few people like Jim Sterling that even properly review games. Even Yahtzee's reviews (which really aren't reviews) have more credence than most professional reviews.
The best place to get news over great games new or old, even systems. It has the new updates of any upcoming game for this year or the upcoming year this is where i get all my news over new games coming for any console. I receive all kinds of emails over anything that has to do with gaming & their gaming company, good ratings for bad & good games old or new, thanks IGN for your Great Service
Back in the day, IGN was one of the good video game review sites, but now, it's nothing more than a joke. The reviews these days are horrible, as IGN will give good ratings to Call Of Duty games while any game involving Sonic The Hedgehog gets a bad review. One Kirby game got a low score because of the complaint about the campaign being short (which is kind of expected from a Kirby game). This is not a site for those looking for honest reviews.
I like IGN they keep me posted on every new games being released and best rated games from low to top. I receive news from them monthly on games to preorder. And great deals that would be releasing. IGN its pretty good well actually better than GameInformer
If you really look at them, practically EVERY popular triple A game has top scores with little to no explanation on the "why." If this is not already apparent with the newest games, then ultimately, you must not care about the game's actual content. This is not to say that they MIGHT be good, and no one is saying these games can't be enjoyable, but a game isn't "Great" or a "Masterpiece" because it's just been released or "everyone loves it." Even Undertale was rated "10 a Masterpiece" and if you've played it or even watched it, you might understand why this is an overblown exaggeration of the experience itself. Ultimately, I would use it as a tool to help compare with other opinions on the media as well (good and bad, if you aren't doing that already).
Tl; dr Please be wary of bias =]
IGN is one of my go to places for game-related information, reviews and trailers. However, I think they should just stick to game-related stuff and step away from movie information and reviews. If I want to read movie reviews or information on movies, I will go to IMDb. Anyway, overall, IGN is a good website to visit.
My favorite site not just for video game news and reviews, but also for anything entertainment related. Great interface and easy to read. My only complaint is the amount of ads that pop up right over the article you are reading.
It's IGN.
Enough said.
They are the internet's premier game reviewing company, media center, and overall industry icon and have been for decades. If you want game reviews, go here. It's that simple.
Defiantly trust worthy site the reviews is very creditable I cannot recommend IGN enough compared to the competition. It is my opinion that they're honest, unbiased and certainly appear to enjoy games unlike some other sites!
All of their new reviews have videos which is great to watch on my iPhone and these are kept to a sensible length. The news section is worth checking on a daily basis as is kept up-to-date.
The only area of improvement which i'm sure they'll get to is more coverage of iPhone games..
This site makes it obvious that they trade early access for good reviews. They will rate the worst bull$#*! a 8/10, just to keep the money flowing.
Bad, untrustworthy, hyping games that are crap... this site is all that is awful and sad about the games industry.
IGN Scale goes from 6/10 = utter garbage and game dev that cannot help us get money to 9/10 average to 10/10 good. This site is literally a scam in that regard.
I have spent a lot of money on $#*! games based on reviews from this site.
The premier gaming website for any game system. It is where everyone goes for news and information related to xbox, sony, and nintendo. The reviews are usually spot on. Lots of old games to be found using the search feature. There are other good, smaller sites but if you are looking for exclusive and newly released gaming info, this is it
I watch their reviews, but I never trust the score. I dont think they are unbiased at all. The only games they dare to give low scores is indies not published by any major publisher.
I've done business with them about 5 times now, at first with smaller transactions of about $4, then $10, then $20. Each time the gold was delivered to my mailbox within minutes, never had a problem with them.
My experience with this website was good. Before I ordered gold from them I talked to customer support to make sure they had the gold in stock. After they said they did I ordered.
The service rep told me to log on so I did and I was immediately whispered by the delivery guy and he traded me the gold. Took about 2 minutes total.
I later heard from various people that this website scammed them. I've ordered from them a few times and never had any problems. I think it is important to make sure they have stock first. Very expensive unless you use the discount codes which are easy to get, just check your spam folder on your e-mail.
I love this website. When it comes to certain games like the Grand Theft Auto series, I sometimes like to start a separate games and use cheats just to mess around. This website has tons of cheats available, even for some of the more obscure games. It's quick and easy to find what you're looking for.
I've ordered gold from them 3+ times, and I recently ordered powerleveling from 81-85. Always delivered gold within 3 hours, quite cheap if you google "ignmax discount codes." Great website... never let me down. While I believe they're Chinese (as witnessed by the name in Chinese characters when you email their hotmail account), they're still a great, cheap service. Their customer service is a bit bad, but they do what you pay them to.
Answer: Has anyone ordered gold for maplestory before and know how long it takes for the person to come face to face? Plz answer
