Was a great experience. Customer Service was awesome! Matt my delivery driver was very knowledge about the hoveround. He explained everything where I could understand. The video he had me watch was very informational. He made sure I was able to operate my hoveround safely.
I can't describe it cause no one has called me back to let me know anything yet to let me know if they are setting up a date to deliver it my doctor had a one on one with me all I am waiting for is to receive notification from you all when I can receive one
I request for an upgrade on my mobile chair
After receiving a letter from hoveround stating I was eligible for one. The hole process was horrible. Miscommunication with my doctor. I never did get the chair. Will do business with them again. My advice is find another company they are not the one
Phone experience only for initial inquiry regarding need for wheelchair and to make appointment with Primary doctor. Efficient, knowledgeable, appointment set for 12/17 for doctor's referral signature.

I called hoveround thinking it was a one trick pony but i soon found out that not only could i get my mobility issues solved but i could customize my chair to my specific specifications which was awesome.
I like my scooter very very much. It's modern style built. It's very helpful and gives enjoyment in my life. I like and appreciated the delivery man and representative, Philip, who explained fully every detail in its usage. He took time to explain it very clearly and made sure I understood it completely.
If I could give no stars I would. When calling for a repair, at 1st they were good about sending a technician. Then the past 3 years their customer service said they would send the parts needed. I said I needed a technician to do the work. They told me that the directions and the tools would be sent to do it. I told them I live by myself. They told me to find someone to do it. I told them I didn't have anyone nearby to do it. They were very rude. So this year I called medicare to find a list of names that deals with medicare and told them what happen with Hoveround. I found someone that was close to me. Got my new chair last week. They sent one of their technicians to evaluate me. And I got the wheelchair of my dreams. Now Hoveround sending me updates for me to get a new chair with them. Like crap I will.
Biggest waste of money in my life! I have absolutely nothing good to say about Hoveround, either the company or the wheelchair! Very 'jerky' when turning especially when pulling forward after backing up or visa versa due to the stupid design of the rear swivel wheels!
Takes forever to get service. Waited for 2 months to get mine serviced and it STILL wasn't right!
Take my advice and buy a GOOD wheelchair like a PRIDE. Can;t go wrong with a PRIDE!

We started this journey in June to get my husband a Hoveround. So far we've hit a standstill... again. It seems my doctor can't seem to get the questions and information correct to the Hoveround people. I'm stuck in the middle between them and my Doctor! I think the two of them could talk and get it right! I have to say the Hoveround people are very nice when I talk to them.
I had a call to ask questions and someone call me back explain everything to me even made the appointment with my doctors office and it was very nice. They were very nice to me and explained everything right was very courteous so I give them a A+.

Hound is selling bad batteries they are cheep and poor quality for those out there bay different one aftermarket from amazob you be happier as far as service poor if you get a chair repaires on your own batteries and tires are your problem to change. There just trying to make more money

My husband became disabled this year. He suffers from heart/lung ailments. His medical ins. Denied our request to get a scooter. So, we paid for it ourselves.
We just received it and he just loves it. I was not pressured to get any one Hoverround over another. I knew what I wanted and got it. The scooter will give him more quality of life instead of sitting at home with no quality of life in his pjs I would highly recommend Hoverround, and their service. The only improvement I could suggest to Hoverround is to improve their scooter manuals to be more complete in their scooter information. Otherwise, BRAVO HOVERROUND!
From my first contact with Hoveround, I was impressed. The representative that I spoke with was friendly, compassionate and most importantly, she was very informative of the product. She took my information and then told me what my doctor needed to do next. Within 2 weeks, my Hoveround electric chair was made and delivered to me! The gentleman that brought it gave me instruction and information about the chair. I used it and maneuvered it around my home. This chair will change my life as I am in great pain if I walk or stand more than 3-5 minutes. I am so grateful for my doctor, my insurance and Hoveround for working together to make a life changing decision come true.
I feel I was treated fairly and understood what I needed to do. The person assisted in explaining to my doctors office the process in order to receive a scooter. The process was not lengthy and very direct to the point.
I really like my new chair. The only problem I'm having is the turning. I am not use to a rear turning chair. I'm hitting a lot of things because of the rear of the chair coming around and not being able to see it.
Everyone who helped me was wonderful. The agent who brought out my chair was very knowledgeable about the product. He was patient, and showed me everything about my new chair. He was a great help, and a great representation of the company. I love my chair. The chair has restored much of my freedom. It is so much easier to get around. THANK YOU!
Paid 4 thousand out of my pocket for the mp5, i used the chair 6 times if that, now it wont power on i called hoveround and they said its the batteries or an electronic issues and i would have to pay for it my self 100.00 an hour or if its the batteries 200.00 for each one instead of helping people that need it they just rob you 4000. 00 takes me a while to save i didnt have insurance and needed a chair should of just stood in bed buyers be ware
Ive had a powerchair for 17 years. First 6 years I was with another company. Too many i's to dot & t's to cross to get rwcertified. How many times must a patient prove they're permanently disabled? Now Im diabetic. Had to choose my phone bill or my new meds, meds won
Answer: So sorry to hear that. I am no longer living with my father-in-law, but I can add to my earlier review and comments. The company did exactly the same thing to him, again. A year later. They got in touch to say that Medicare had accepted their appeal and that the chair was now finally his, and they sent a guy round with the paperwork for signature and everything looked great. It subsequently turned out that Medicare hadn't approved anything and didn't know anything at all about the appeal, and that they were not going to pay. The story that Hoveround gave me was smoke and mirrors and back came the bill for the chair again. As far as I know, a year and a half on, the chair is still not officially his. I probably won't hear anything more about it now, but I'm quite glad I don't have to deal with these people yet again.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
