Worst shipping experience of the season. Still can't get my package out of third party carrier and there's nothing H&M seems to be able to do. Will never ever purchase online from this vendor and I recommend the same to all my friends and family. Avoid at all costs!
Ordered from the website end of November. All I got was an email stating that my order will be shipped soon. I have sent a few emails asking about my order, with no answers from Customer Service. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from them. Trying to call customer service, but of coarse not getting through. Took my money, but still no merchandise. Never Again!
Isn't customer satisfaction mentioned in training for the staff at h&m. As everytime I shop at the Nottingham City centre store I am happy with items but soon as its time to pay the que is ridiculous only because the staff are to slow seriously most stores these days deal with customers quickly h&m don't at all
I purchase an order for my 7 year old son. Ups lost order and I had to call 7 times to try and get it resolved and 3 of them simply hung up on me. They don't want to help anyone. I will never buy for them again. The worse company I've dealt with.
I recently shopped at H&M Century City Mall to complete a look for a project. I wanted to purchase the sweaters they have placed in their new window display it was exactly the look I was going for. I asked the sales associate where are the sweaters located within the store that is displayed within the window. She replied, "we don't sell those they are just for display." I'm wondering why HSN would put merchandise on display they don't carry within their store. I also couldn't find a person to help me with sizing and I had to ask several people if they worked there because it was hard to identify who was a sales associate versus a customer. There must be a no-name badge trend in large retail chains these days.
I did manage to find a couple of items on my own and the cashier was very friendly. She was able to tell me that the sweaters in the window will be arriving within two weeks, and they usually preview what is to come before they have it in the store.
Been purchasing from hm for a while now. Although the quality has always been the same "forever 21" quality. I have been pleased. You get what you pay for. However, I purchased a sweater a couple of weeks ago and the sweater stretched so much to the point that it is in wearable. I tried to exchange it and was denied even with receipt because I had removed the cleaning label. Called customer service and they told me they can't do anything about it because they can't resell it with that label. Really? You can't resell it period because the quality is atrocious. Worst customer service ever.
There's nothing negative about this review. I notice there's a substantial amount of colleges you represent. Could you include black and brown colleges as well. I like H&M. But I think college diversity is bigger than this.
Fraud!
Even after 40 days no refund. Even after many emails and phone calls they are not budging. I have multiple times checked the bank-account number which I have given them just to ensure I have not made a mistake. Also I have checked my bank balance to ensure it has not been credited.
Upon asking them they ask for my bank statement with all transactions. They say they will transfer the money in 30 days. Why do they need 30 days? They are fraudsters delaying payment to make 1 month interest money. Hand in glove with the bank.
On top of that now they are trying to get my bank statement which has details on my other transactions which probably they plan to sell to other e-commerce sites and make more money. So looks like clothing is just an excuse.
This is a serious issue - not only of cheating but also a possible use of bank statements for other purposes. I am going to make a police case. Threat to society.
They tried to scam me! I ordered 4 things from them, and I never received a box. I called to get a refund, and after some back and forth I was told my refund was being processed and I would receive an email confirmation in around 10 minutes. I did not get an email, so I called back the next day and tried again to get a refund. I spoke with the most rude, angry, mocking, and unhelpful person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He called himself Alvin. When he would not give confirmation of a refund and I asked to speak with someone else, I was placed on hold for 35 minutes. I waited, of course, especially because this order was supposed to be a gift and now I just wanted the money to go elsewhere. Eventually, I was told word for word the same thing by the supervisor as I was told by Alvin. I initiated a charge back dispute with my bank, and then the next day received an email saying I was to be refunded. Never buy anything from H&M, ever!
This is one story that I go into if I need something quick and easy. You can get the same thing in different colors and you will need 5 different sizes. Their sizing chart is so off in so many ways. I bought three Blazers from them each one a different color each one a different size but yet they're all the same style. I always have to go up to three sizes which makes no sense whatsoever. And be careful when you wash their clothes they often shrink a lot and in different ways
A lot of the clothing pieces are adorable, but taking a closer look at the quality, there are threads coming undone and incomplete stitching. It's a shame that the company benefits so much when the clothing is made by slave labor in impoverished countries. Often times by children.
H and M sent me the wrong product and I was told by a customer service rep that it could be returned to the store. This information was totally wrong! I was told by the store at Easton Columbus Ohio very rudely that the return could not be done by them. The store acted as if I stole a pair of shoes off the shelf and brought it in for a refund with an online receipt. I told the rude store manager that I will never shop with H and M ever again. I was a 5 year faithful online customer! When a store thinks they are above being nice to their customers that is when another company will get their business. I refused to spend my money at any business that has unacceptable customer service. Goodbye!
Flagship H&M Sydney store and purchased some homeware. Offered deal for 30% off if spend over $100. Found that single bed duvet was too small when I got home and wanted to exchange for another larger cover of exact same price. Was told that the system could not do that as it needed to be same code. Zero for customer satisfaction! Strangely other stores like Myer / DJs don't have any such constraints.
I've never shopped online from them, however I'm one of their most loyal costumers "in store". I love H&M because they keep track of the latest trends - while still selling classics and basic clothing - and their prices are cheap. I like the design too. Quality is generally good, although sometimes prices don't really "match" the item (you can find a 100% cotton top for 5 while a 100% polyester may cost 20), and this is the only thing I feel like I wanna warn potential costumers about. You could spend way too much money on a pretty but low-quality dress, while not noticing a great skirt with amazing fabric at a very cheap price. This being said they remain my favourite "low-cost" brand to date.
Im a 6'1" 160 lb male and the 32/32 slim regular tapered jeans were so tight I could barely pull them up. The only part that wasnt constricting my body was the waist. Im skinny, but if I wanted to wear denim tights, I wouldnt be buying jeans advertised as "slim". Unless your back goes straight to your thighs with no discernable evidence of a human butt, do not buy slim fit jeans from h&m. The model in the photo online must be about 100 lbs because I assure you they will not fit like that when you try them on.
Funky clothing, great prices, I have never been disappointed. I absolutely love walking into H&M they always have clothing I love and I'm picky. I have shopped in store as well as ordered online. My experience with ordering online was excellent. Fast shipping, clothing all fit perfectly. One of my favorite places to shop hands down.
One thing about H & M people should learn from is that they mail out big coupons to their customers!
Who does that these days? This is why I'm still in in tune with them.
I picked a lot of key items in their recent coachella collection. Not bad! :)
Very frustrating dealing with their phone customer service.
I called 4 times to close an online order... telling me the charge did not go thru to call bak in 24 hours after the system clears the RM! Error that IT is working on fixing.
AMEX showed transaction approved but yet their site shows declined?
When finally got thru to the rep to close the order, she emptied my cart and I now have to redo the entire purchase that had a lot of items.
At the jersey city location this was the only store that had clothes that matched the ones my son had on that another toddler just demolished by tripping onto him with her ice cream. I have been in line waiting for 49 minutes lol along with other pissed off customers. Cashiers and security say that their system is down and only one register works that we should go elsewhere if we do not wish to wait in line. I much rather help others avoid this unprofesionalism and ignorance. This is also the first time I write a review of a store so it ensures you that this is a big deal. And I don't have anything else to do but wait in line. Going on 50 minutes -
Buyer beware, don't purchase undergarments... even if the package is sealed, no returns. There return policy states it, BUT it's on the back of the receipt which you receive after you've purchased the items and guess what? Too late. Also, online, no mention until you click for further details. Initial return policy states- 30 days, and purchase online can be returned to store. NOTHING. Sadly, they're customer service staff, missing the service part, and can't make a judgement call if their life depended on it. Common sense people. If the package is sealed with the clip attached, the package wasn't opened. Last time I ever shop with them.
