I first bought a hat and vest from the emporium back in 2012 and worn it eversince for 10+ years. I lost the hat recently and the emporium still had my purchase record of the type of hat that was purchased and they still had it listed on the website and of which I was very happy to purchase again. The sales person was very courteous and great to talk to. I'll be wearing these hats for another 10+ years for the style and great materials they were made of.
This is my second purchase from Historical Emporium. In both cases, delivery was very fast. The staff person I talked with for advice on sizing my holster was very helpful, and the holster fit perfectly. This will not be my last purchase.

I'm a first time purchaser and had a great experience. I ordered 2 coats and followed the measurement chart but the sizing was accurate. I was right in between and should have ordered a size up. Original order arrived quicker than expected. One of the items wasn't exactly what I needed although I loved it, I needed to return and the other I needed to exchange for a larger size but it's perfect. Process was perfect and quick. My refund was processed promptly and my new size arrived quickly. Would definitely purchase from this company again.

I needed a vintage outfit to attend a fundraiser at the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, PA. The Emporium has much to chose from and I received the items within days, well before my event.
Had to return and reorder due to initially ordering wrong size. Absolutely no problems with the return. Service was excellent

Staff great however even after staff subsequently sent me a second hat felt ….hat was still to large ….this is unfortunate. I guess this top hat will remain strictly a showpiece in my wardrobe. UNLESS you think a third hat felt might do the trick? How many hat felts is reasonable ……or absurd?
