I purchased a mask for Halloween from this site. I am Australian and there was 15 business days before Halloween so I thought it would make it as I believed I was purchasing from Australia due to the website address Halloweencostumes.com.au and an Australian phone number. So I selected the 3-10 days delivery option. Yes it does state that there was no guarantee but if I had've known that the item was to be shipped from America I would not have purchased the item knowing I would have had a low chance of arrival before Halloween. When it hadn't arrived on the 30th October I contacted them and was informed they would process a refund but I would have to pay postage of the item (international) and would incur an additional 18% restocking fee. By the time I post the item back to the US I would be lucky to have any money left to refund. I approached them about their misleading website and the late delivery and their response was not helpful at all just restating that there was no guarantee on delivery and they are sorry I am disappointed. Do not purchase from this site. I believe they are misleading customers due to lower international purchases due to delay relating to COVID.
I ordered my costume 14th of October... never arrived. Today is Halloween. I started contacting them on the 26th since it had not arrived. Their response was that it's not guaranteed, contract the shipper. They are taking the return, but there is an 18% fee, and shipping charge is not returned. My shipment traveled from Indy to Olathe, Ks stayed there for days then got shipped to Champagne, IL & back today to Indy & I'm being told (again) it's going to arrive tomorrow from Indy... fat chance! It was suppose to arrive last Fri... reason I purchased it, then told this last Monday, then told yesterday (We'd) & now I am to believe tomorrow (Fri)... otherwise I get a refund & have no costume I need for Saturday! Will NEVER order from your company & I was a first time customer going on reviews. This is a lousy one for you but you deserve it. Stay clear folks!
I ordered my costume from Halloween costumes late August and paid the extra delivery to get it to my place on time for the event. The promise was that my costume was supposed to be at my residence by 7th September - it it now 17th October and I still have not received my costume. Now they are blocking my emails. Going to call the bank on Monday to have the payment reversed.
I am always hesitant to order clothes/costumes online due to not being able to see the fit or quality of materials, but the items we received were all true to size and didn't look like a "cheap halloween costume" at all. Plus, we received the items within 2 business days! Can't beat the prices or speedy service.

It's been over a month and I have not received my refund and they charged an exorbitant amount to provide a shipping label. I called the company letting them know I have not received my payment two weeks after I shipped the return they said, "we are getting to it, check back in a week". They confirmed they received my package. They also never stated they were charging me for the shipping label. Sadly, I could have fit nearly twice into the costume that should have fit according to the information provided on their website. NEVER AGAIN - at least, that is a valuable lesson I learned from this experience.
I ordered this costume for my 4 year old using their measurement chart, the costume I received was 6 inches shorter than stated and the arms were longer than the legs. I paid extra for shipping so I could have it in time, now my kid has no costume and I have to wait god knows how long for a refund.
I would not have even scored a star if I could have. They advertise to say that returns are simple if you are not happy however what they don't tell you until you want to do this is that they will deduct 18% from the amount you paid and that's not even including the extortionate amount that you pay for shipping as it's the only option available! So I have paid the £8.99 p&p thinking it's ok, if it doesn't fit at least I will get the £28.99 back for the costume. No. You will get 82% of that costume amount back. To top it off they do not even give you the address to send your return to and then say that they will deduct a further £10 from the refund if the courier needs to amend the address. Basically leaving you with nothing as long as they get their stock back. Absolute shambles. Even though I can not wear the costume as it is too big, I will not send it back at my further expense to probably end up with £5 back after spending £40!

My issue with them is that I returned the item on November 8th and didn't get an email saying they received my item back until December 11th... They probably had it days after November 8th. The email on December 11th said it would be "still up to 2 weeks to process my return." It has been 4 weeks since that December 11th email and still no refund. I was already annoyed about having to pay return shipping on top of the "18% restocking fee" which seems pretty steep to open a box and put something back on a shelf. As it stands currently, I don't know if I would ever order from them again or recommend them to anyone I know, even if I had a coupon. On top of that their customer service hours are very short and not on weekends at all either and I shouldn't have to be babysitting this and reaching out about this. Regretting ordering from them. So far hasn't been worth being a little cheaper than Amazon because of a coupon I had.

I ordered 3 costumes 6 weeks ago and it's Halloween and no costumes. I contacted them three weeks ago to check on them and sent in my order number. They said they were sent and allow 15 to 20 days. Well... nothing. The company email is a gmail account so I would say they are not a reputable business and I got scammed.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Website said the costume I ordered for my daughter would arrive on October 29th. It is now October 30 and I have not received any notification or whereabouts of the costume. I contacted their customer service and found out that they lost my costume and never thought to contact me. Their resolution was to issue a refund and nothing more. No attempts were made to try to ship the costume overnight or expedite the shipping. Being a company that strictly sells Halloween costume, you would think that shipping the costume BEFORE Halloween would be their top priority. Now my daughter is without a costume the night before Halloween. I was already sketchy of using this website, but now I am certain this company is unreliable.
