As someone else mentioned, if you want to change the size of an item you ordered you are screwed even if you try immediately after the order is placed. There is no way to do it. I contacted customer service numerous times right after placing an order and was told there was no way they could change the size even though the order had just been placed and had not been shipped. They told me to send it back for an exchange at my own expense because they would not provide a return label. So I sent it back for an exchange and they told me the item was now out of stock. They provided a refund but only for the original cost of the item not the tax, original shipping, or return shippping. So I paid more than the item cost after all of this and have nothing to show for it. Hopefully in the future they will provide a way to change orders prior to shipping. I will never order from them again though.
I ordered a set. It was on Sale - It included a tank top with zippered hoodie. I bought for my daughter and my niece. I never received the hoodie's. I called Customer Service. I was told that there was a drop down box and I didn't check it to receive the hoodie. Therefore, special is no longer, can't get it unless I want to pay now the full price for hoodie's. I was told there were many others complaining about same thing. Their web-site is very mis-leading. Very discouraged. I have ordered many times from them. No Problems... Yes, there customer service sucks. Not happy at all. I will not be ordering from them anymore. Sad... but I feel like I was ripped off... Greater Good? To rip people off... No thank you
This is a scam! GreaterGood.com is NOT GreaterGood.org. However, GreaterGood.com misleads tries to make you believe they are the same. Visit GreaterGood.org. You will see zero mention of GreaterGood.com. GreaterGood.com should be ashamed of themselves and there is a special place in Hell for people scamming in the name of a charity.

GreaterGood.com is affiliated with GreaterGood.org. We are the for profit side that manages several e-commerce websites that support the causes that GreaterGood.org supports. Proceeds from our sales help support GreaterGood.org with all their causes along with our Benefit Buy's and our Gifts that Give More that are all available to purchase from our various websites. Also, if you look at the GreaterGood.org website towards the bottom that shows they partner with the following websites: The Hunger Site, The Rainforest Site, The Animal Rescue Site, The Diabetes Site, The Literacy Site, The Autism Site, The Veterans Site, The Breast Cancer Site and the Alzheimer's site, these are all sites owned and managed by GreaterGood.com. Simply click on the links from GreaterGood.org and those links will take you to our various stores.
GreaterGood.com is not a scam and we have worked very hard to partner with GreaterGood.org to do good for people, planet and pets. We are sorry that you feel we are not a legitimate organization but strongly encourage you to do further research so you understand the difference between the two organizations and how we regularly partner with each other.
I've been a supporter of Greater Good's work for over a dozen years because I like the idea of also supporting charities when I shop. They've lost my business as of today, however, and I'm spreading the word why you shouldn't shop with them either. Or at least be very, very careful with your order!
I ordered an item that - when I received it - was very different from what was described on the Greater Good site. When I called about returning it, I was told I'd have to pay for the return shipping - which would come to more than the cost of the item. WTF?! No other reputable company requires customers to pay for return shipping on items that aren't as described on their website. Even companies that provide free shipping. What a scam!
I bought two pairs of pajamas and a face mask from The Rainforest Site. They took my money, said the package had been shipped, but I never got it. I tried to get in touch with them, but there doesn't seem to be a way to. They're the worst of scammers, and I will NEVER support them or buy from them again.
Rebecca

I ordered jogging outfits fits perfect awesome quality jewelry adorable good quality animal toys clothing and tags Exellent quality and the best part is With every single purchase you feed and rescue animals that's the best part
Do not order from them. I placed an order 3 weeks ago and it still isn't here. I looked under my orders and it said processed." So it wasn't even shipped? I contacted them via email 4 hours ago and Im still waiting. Ridiculous!
I have purchased from this site & have NEVER had any problems. My orders always come very quickly. Everything I have purchased is very good quality. To hear negative comments & I do feel sorry for their poor experience. I have spoke to customer service with a question about a product. They gave me the information needed & even followed up with an email. As for the review that said "no reputable company charges for return postage", I have never found a company that doesn't make the customer pay for return postage. I have read in their website & the first thing I read is WE ARE A NOT FOR PROFIT CHARITY. I do hope people give them a chance. And for those that can't I do hope they have a better experience with another site.
Seems to have white uncolored streaks down arms. Doesnt look like the tye dye. Like someone laid bleach filled shoe laces down arms of it. Did anybody get sun hoody that looks this way, Doesn't look bad but not like my orange one.
Saw cute pawprint shoes on a friend who directed me to this website. I have large feet and usually wear an 11 or 12. I ordered an 11 and it was sooooo big. I called and they said to return the shoes -- at my expense. My expense was $15. The total spent was $32. I asked why they wouldn't pay that shipping if the product was clearly defective. They don't care. I would NEVER buy here a gain.
Fawn
Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding your experience. Please note that a shoe that doesn't fit is not considered a defective shoe. If a product is considered defective we would not have asked you to return the item. But due to the shoe being the wrong size for you doesn't mean that it is defective. Our return policy is noted on our website and at this time we do not offer return labels and returns are at the expense of the buy. I apologize that you were not satisfied with your experience.
Even though shipping is itemized separately from merchandise, this scam company collects taxes on shipping. No other company does this for my location. Customer Service says "our company is different".

They are a "commercial fundraiser" and only 8% of our contribution is ever give to a real charity. What a scam!
Ordered paw print shoes for my mom for mother's day. Paid almost 3x the price of the item to get here on time. Needless to say, it did not arrive. I emailed 5 times prior to Mothers day to get an update and find out why, only to be ignored. Did online chat with them the following Monday, only to be disconnected repeatedly, told that Fridays don't count as a day of the week even though they do in fact work on Friday. Finally got supervisor David. He was incredibly rude, refused to connect me to someone above him. He asked me to forward the email proving I should have received this on Friday, which I did. Then David said that he didn't care what I sent him, he wouldnt refund me my shipping costs and it was not his problem. David told me, as far as I am concerned, he is the ultimate word and even though he does have bosses above him, flat out refused to connect me to one. (i do have screenshots of our conversation). He said its up to him only about resolving my issue, and he wasn't issuing a refund. Tried to disconnected myself and get someone else, and he told the 3 people working below him to refuse to put me to anyone else. Then he told me that i need to stop contacting them, as he has already explained that he is the ultimate word there, and wouldn't assist me any further.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I would NEVER buy from them again, and will tell everyone I know not to either.
TR,
I apologize if you had a poor experience with our organization. I do see that a full refund of $62.00 was issued. I have reviewed the transcript of your live Chat's and I will be providing the necessary feedback to the individuals that you communicated with during your interaction. Again, I apologize for not only missing a delivery expectation for your order but also for any poor experience that you encountered.
Received order today. Shoes run full size smaller, wear an 8.5 ordered a 9 and they are too small by 1/2 inch. A waste of money!
Mary
I am sorry to hear that your shoes did not fit. With most of our shoes, since we do not offer 1/2 sizes it is usually the best to recommend going up to the next size. It appears that in this case this was not the solution for you. I would love to refund your money for this purchase. If you contact our customer service team with your order number and reference this review response we can ensure that your order is refunded in full.
Thank you
Not only do they have great products at excellent prices, every item you buy donates to a charity. You can pick the charity or even donate without making a purchase. I love this site!
Folks, it doesn't matter HOW your order was handled, whether the merchandise was pleasing to you, etc. The question at hand is, Do the funds from what we buy actually go to charitable causes?
Just because something was the wrong size, or the dye in it affected your allergies, has absolutely nothing to do with the most important question, and what I'm trying to find out, which is: Does ANY of our money make it to CHARITY?
I ordered two tie dye tunics (buy one get one free) and I love them! They arrived quickly and are beautiful. I'm very happy with my order and will return for more shopping in the future.
This site is so wonderful, you get to help fund items for pets by your purchase, theres also many other categories you can donate to, if you go to the main Greater Good web page.
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, we support and fund efforts for many great causes related to Animal Rescue, Breast Cancer Research, Autism, Literacy, Veterans, Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Hunger, and the Rainforest. Plus many other call to action efforts to support and assist in disaster relief and health crisis. However, we cannot do it without great customers that show their continued support for all that we do. Thank you so much for supporting GreaterGood and all our causes.
I do quite a bit of shopping on Greatergood.com, for myself and family gifts. I have never been disappointed with the products or the prices and helping shelter animals is a wonderful bonus.
I placed an order and have not received it. Can't get a response from Customer Service to find the status of my order. I would like my order or a refund. I'll NEVER shop here again.
Answer: Depending on how you donate will depend where the money goes. At GreaterGood we have several ways to donate to our causes. If you purchase items from our various websites such as the Animal Rescue site portions of those funds from your purchase go to help shelter animals in general. The amount averages to be about $. 50 per dollar goes to help shelters. If you elect to donate to a specific cause such as our flights to freedom or specific 'Gifts that Give More' option, 100% of that money donated goes to the actual cause you selected. The donations that you give for any of our Gifts that Give More causes is also tax deductible. You can also obtain further donation information from our non-profit partner's website at www.greatergood.org.
Answer: Virginia, thank you for your inquiry. I am attaching a link to our returns/exchange process here for you. https://help.greatergood.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022552514-How-do-I-return-or-exchange-my-order- Please copy and paste this link into your web browser and it will link you to our return/exchange process and procedure.
Answer: Carole, once your order is placed, you should receive an order confirmation email to the email address you entered at the time of the order. Once the package is picked and packaged and a tracking number assigned (which should have occurred already if it has been a week), a shipping confirmation email is sent to you with the tracking number. Once the package ships, we ask that you allow 7-10 business days for delivery. If you feel that you have not received the communication that you think you should have on this order, please contact our customer service department at either customerservice@greatergood.com or by calling 877-355-4321
Answer: Joyce Thank you for your question. However, I think you may be thinking of another organization. We at GreaterGood do not sell mobility scooters. Some consumers confuse our organization with another similar organization called Greater Goods (with an s). You might want to try them.
Answer: We are true to each of our cause areas and have employees and customers across the political spectrum. Our customers can choose which sites to click and shop on based on their preferences, and we work hard to provide each of them good products and services. Because our cause areas are different, we don't sell leather or horn on The Animal Rescue Site but do sell items made from these materials on The Breast Cancer Site or the Veterans Site; since we believe we have a duty to each of our charity partners and cause areas to raise funds and be impactful, in whatever ways can help most. For instance, we work hard to source and sell fair trade goods which provide rural women artisans a way to pay for their children's education in addition to providing meals and opportunity to refugees from war and disaster both in the USA and elsewhere on The Hunger Site. Greg and I met at the University of Michigan in the mid-70s on the "Bottle Bill" campaign and believe there is much more agreement across the political spectrum on issues than is commonly acknowledged. The returnable bottle law in Michigan is the strongest in the nation, and it was passed by voters across the political spectrum who are all interested in reducing waste and energy usage. That campaign was primarily funded by the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (www.mucc.org) who are hunters; with lots of volunteers from environmental groups and young people who were primarily not hunters. Both Greg and I believe there needs to be more economic justice; which was one of the reasons we created this on-line business over 20 years ago, because it empowers our customers and staff to be able to do good in the world every day. We are proud that we have raised over $60 million dollars for charity since 1999, but we have a long way to go. Tim Kunin (co-founder of CharityUSA, the owners and operators of the GreaterGood websites).
Answer: Bryan Yes we do have a phone number for our customer service center but we are not a shelter. We are an online retailer that sells products and proceeds from those sales go to support animal shelters. Our phone number is (888) 355-4321. However, if you are looking to foster pets, I would recommend calling a local shelter or animal humane society in your area. Thank you Jodi Director, Customer Service GreaterGood
Answer: Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in our causes. I cannot speak as to why the questions from 2018 were not responded to as I am a recent addition to the GreaterGood organization and I am the Director of Customer Service. I have taken over the review and response to sites such as sitejabber. If you have any specific questions about our causes, please let us know or you can also contact our Customer Service team for assistance. They can be reached at 1-888-355-4321 or by email at customerservice@greatergood.com.
