Hidden fees

After paying for your ticket, you have to pay for your seats, too! I clicked "no" for all for-a-fee additions, so I have no idea what this travel experience will be like.

I booked the flight from Gotogate but they cancelled our flight before one month of the flight.
Original flight booked is from Vienna back to Singapore but Gotogate cancel our flight and give us the flight from Frankfurt to Singapore. Original destination flight is total different and ask us to travel ourselves from Vienna to Frankfurt to take the Flight. In addition, I have checked with airlines that said is agents cancelled our flight but Gotogate is not admit their faults.
It is not reasonable and their agents never help at all and keep said no alternative Flight!

Strange bookings

Maybe its the new way of budget traveling. But no thank you I had ti cancel. I wasn't surprised I was charged around $100 or more for seat uptions, what do you mean options? I did all work on website and cancelled a few minutes later. Just had bad gut feeling about this.

The airfare has changed on me right at the time of booking. I have tried multiple times to book the tickets at the advertised price but had no luck. The website kept spitting out that the price has gone up due to a high demand.

I'm a travel agent and booked a hop with Gotogate for a client in Europe. I need to talk with customer service as I never received the confirmation email for this flight and need to confirm information. I will never use this company again nor will I recommend them. This company is a nightmare.

The worst customer service!

Do not use this third-party vendor. This is the worst experience of my life! I booked a ticket and for my and my friend then 2h latter my friend notified that she can't go to the trip. I called them right the way and was told that they could not refund me the entire amount and that they will charge me $90 fees. After hours of calls to get my money back they end it up charging me more than 200 fees…

SCAMMERS, AVOID AND DONT BOOK WITH THEM!

I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding my recent booking with GTG. Unfortunately, they are not trusted, and not refunding the money to clients even for more than 3 months and despite several follow-up attempts and assurances from their representatives.

Transparent and organised!

It's easy to book on lots of sites - but then you find hidden fees, sneaky ways of asking things that cost you more money, etc. On GoToGate it's all totally clear and transparent. I love how they fill in the passengers' names as you type! And that it's very clear you've already paid for baggage! Forget the ones that might be $10 or $20 less...it's worth the extra for this confidence and peace of mind!

Horrible service. The company doesn't want to refund your money even when the airlines clearly state I'm entitled to a full refund. It's been 3 months I've been trying to get my refund with no resolution insight. Absolutely the worst service I've had in my 40 years of traveling, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Not priced as advertised

Advertised price doesn't include seating carry on or check in luggage nor meals provided. Ended up being more than double the price advertised when booking.
