Placed an order for 5 wall plates, 4 switches and 6 light bulbs on 5/18. Order sat for 2 weeks before they did anything. Ship date is listed as 6/1, but UPS label not created until 6/5; item not in UPS hands until 6/6. And I paid $14.40 of "freight" for that $35 order that probably weighed less than 2 pounds. They obviously don't care about retail orders placed on the web. Their unit prices were good, and they had items I couldn't find on Amazon, but I'll look for another vendor before I use them again.

Terrible customer service
September 17, 2021

They sent wrong item. I was charged for return shipping which they will not reimburse and I am still waiting for credit to be issued for the item(over 3 weeks). Terrible customer service. I would never do business with them.

Just what I needed
February 22, 2023

I'm using this to house rotary switches for my solar setup, it sits between two Square D main panels ( 1 grid, 1 solar, i chose this item because it is 18 inch like the mains... makes my setup look very professional and clean

Avoid this company

Stay clear of this company. Ordered a part on 10 June with no indication that it was out of stock. Estimated ship date was 16 June. Nothing happened by then so I emailed. They stated that part would not arrive at their warehouse until 27 Jun, meaning it was never in stock. I emailed again on 30 June only to be told that part would not arrive to them till 28 Jul. I cancelled order. But BTW, they collected the money on the day the order was placed. They are not honest about their stock status. If they don't have the part on hand, then they should say so... not take folks' money and then sit on it. Terrible company!

Communication with shipment!

You need to communicate as to when an order is shipped, like with a confirmation and tracking number. I ordered and received no indication the item shipped until it showed up at my door. And now you want me to verify if I received the shipment. Communication, communication! Try it. It might garner a better rating, at least from me.

Broken bulb
September 26, 2023

Good afternoon,
I did Receive the bulbs period one of the bulbs has broken prong on it. The other bulbs in good condition period arrived at job site, installed the bulbs, but none of the bulbs working. Proved voltage and sockets with a good known bulb.
We'll be needing a refund of these items.

I really appreciate GordonElectricSupply! The pricing isn't always the greatest, but they always seem to have what is needed. And there are many times that pricing is in fact tagged far below other supply houses. Their delivery times seems to vary, but overall GES is quick to process/ship orders.

Product quality, value, and order accuracy were outstanding. Delivery time was terrible...probably due to extenuating circumstances...but communication regarding delays could have been better. Customer service agents are very courteous, helpful, and professional.

Everything was easy but I wish you could ship out sooner than 5-7 days. That means the order will take 2 weeks to get here. If the time for shipping was faster, I'd give more stars. I'm a first time buyer here.

Waste of time
October 7, 2024

I needed a product, i contacted customer service to ensure immediate availability. When that was confirmed, i placed the order and arranged all logistics to start the job. A week passes and no delivery, I contact customer service and they informed me the product is not available until the end of october. I had to delay the project. Waste of my time.

Issue with shipping
August 22, 2024

Order placed on 8/8/24. Product delivered to wrong address (in another state) on 8/16/24.
Contacted customer service and they promptly reshipped the order on 8/16/24.
Gordon Electric promptly reshipped the order on 8/16/24 and it was received on 8/22/24.
Things happen. I give them 5 stars for getting it corrected as soon as possible.

After I ordered AND PAID IN FULL, I noticed that to have my order shipped in two days...I had to spend at least $250.00! Good Old Corporate Greed American Company Gordon Electric Supply! My money is just as green as your Hero's Donald Trump! The only difference is I made mine honestly! SO, in two weeks, my order got shipped! Gee Thank You for your concern for the little guy who doesn't need $10,000 worth of material at once! You damn sure knew how to collect my money immediately and start drawing interest off it! That is alright though, along with your ridiculous shipping rates, and only being concerned with the BIG DOLLAR BOYS, Gordon Electric Supply WILL NOT be getting any more of my business!
