I'm pretty sure they purposely add fake codes as click bait so it sends you to the site with their affiliate link and make money off you anyway. 9 times out of 10 the codes are bogus and there is no way to report bad codes.
Well like every comon cutomer i got scamed by these "site". When i collect enough so i can made my first withdraw they block my account and doesnt allow me even to enter to my profile. It says " Server issues" for over a month... come on... Stay away from this!
Up to about a month ago Giving Assistant was functioning well, not great. Had numerous Store Clicks not appearing in my account. Resolved this by always logging out then in again. Most recently have not been able to log in. A pop up would say ‘There was a problem with the server'. Several attempts have been made to contact Customer Service with the email being returned as undeliverable.
They owe me over $1,000 in commissions. I have repeatedly contacted them every way that I can. They do not respond, yet continue to operate and fleece people. They receive the money from the merchants and they're supposed to take the proceeds and issue a chunk back to the individuals. Instead, they're receiving the money from the merchants and pocketing the money.
This company will be gone soon. They are a scam company at this point. The fact that they're broke is one thing. The fact that they continue to lure people onto their website knowing they are not going to pay them out is criminal.
For the last 3-4 months no new money is being collected, other similar service are working so the issue is GA, also, I have money they need to pay me, and it's stuck in my account, service is not reachable for more than a month now.

They are apparently in liquidation or bankruptcy or something, with the site still up (when I last looked) and behaving like you will get cashback. But you won't. Maybe the lawyers are getting it all now? IDK but don't use them. Just don't. I was ripped off, and hope by posting this someone else won't be.
I've been a member of Giving Assistant for a year now, and I've received over $120 in cash back! ONLY the last payment that shows up on the payment list is missing from my PayPal. I never had any problems before. The initial three months wait until the cash back was released was a nail biter! But then the money loaded in the app early in the morning and transferred to my PayPal in the afternoon! Easy peasy!
I've used other cash back services, like ID.me and Rakutan. But they have limits on what items will earn cash back and have different percentages of cash back in EACH category! MANY items aren't even eligible for cash back! It's very difficult to use them for this reason, you never know if the items you're buying are eligible for cash back nor do you know the exact percentage EACH item might earn! It changes ALL the time in them and MANY items and retailers earn NOTHING, 0%!
You don't have this headache with Giving Assistant! They offer cash back in MORE places and, except for gift cards (which shouldn't have cash back anyway), virtually EVERYTHING in the store is included in the cash back deal! Plus they have an AWESOME program in which you can pay an annual fee of $6 and get a higher percentage (double!) of cash back from EACH store! It's an option you can choose and not mandatory. I just happened to find it while searching through the site! I do a LOT of online shopping and paying $6 a year to double my cash back was a no brainer! As mentioned, I've received over $120 back in the year! So that $6, which they withhold from earned cash back, got me an extra $60! If you don't shop online too often and aren't likely to benefit from paying for the annual membership, no worries! You still get cash back, just a lower percentage!
Now, the one thing that no one else offers is the opportunity to donate to a charity of your choice! Not ONLY are you able to choose the charity, but you can choose how much of your cash back to give them! THAT is the coolest thing! If you want, you can have ALL your cash back go to your chosen charity! It's paid out to them the same way it comes to you! You can see how much they get by looking at the "giving" side instead of the cash back payment. It's the best!
They sent me a check via email, via a legit check service, but when I deposited it my bank returned it due to an invalid account, and then my bank charged me a return check fee. I've tried to message Giving Assistant but there is no reply and there is only a chat option, no emails or phone number contact info. Do not use this "service."
Giving assistant owes me Hundreds of dollars. They said they've made payments to my PayPal account and nothing has shown up. I have been a loyal customer for years. And it seems like money disappears here and there. And they can't account for it. I called the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they'll be able to help. I am going to take them to court to get my money back. I don't get an answer.
Decided to check out their site and not recommending it at all. „Payable" funds dissapearaed magically from my account a week ago with info „You have received Paypal payment". Of course nothing arrived to Paypal. Reported this to customer service - not responding totally even once. Looks like a dead site to me - AVOID.

Claims to give cash back on online shopping, I've tried it multiple times and it has never worked. Contacted customer support, they were extremely uncooperative, kept making excuses, deflected, and strung me along for more than a week worth of customer support messages. I've also seen real reviews that say their donation system to charities is highly suspect and most likely a fraud. Please avoid this fraudulent extension at all costs. I've used many other extensions that have worked perfectly as advertised. Attaching the email chain their CS strung me along on, for what would've amounted to maybe $5 worth of cash back. Absolutely $#*!ing ridiculous.
I opened an account, bought bunch of things, got about $100 pending, some of it payable, but no button to cash out?!?! Sent an inquiry, how do I get the cash, and they all disappeared, my account too, like they never existed, no phone # to call, no way to contact them, RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!
Great cashback site with very helpful support team - if something is not ok just write to them. Also they're have one of the highest cashback rates. Strongly recommended!
Hi Mark, glad to hear you're enjoying Giving Assistant. Let us know if you ever need help with anything!
Not one of the coupon codes given worked. This was a waste of my time and resulted in feelings of frustration.
It doesn't get any easier than this to earn EXTRA cashback shopping online. If you have a computer and an internet connection, chances are you're also making purchases online, and you can take advantage of this too. It's Real Simple,
Step #1 - Add the GivingAssistant Button to your browser.
Step #2 - Let GivingAssistant know where you'd like them to deposit your money. That's it!
It is a no brainer; do it NOW unless you're not into things like EXTRA cashback. For everyone who is, you're going to love GivingAssistant; it virtually spits out money with absolutely no extra effort. Set it and forget it. I've used nearly all the top cashback Apps from WikiBuy, Swagbucks, Ibotta, and too many others to mention here.
I've been using GivingAssistant for a little over a year now, and GivingAssistant is the only cashback App that CONSISTENTLY PAYS out and doesn't try limiting your cashback earnings or try changing the program's Terms and conditions just when things are getting good.
Thanks Cameron! Glad to hear you enjoy Giving Assistant and have found it to be a helpful way to save money.
The portal adds fake order numbers instead of the real ones and then deletes them. There is no point in participating in this program.
Giving Assistant is so easy to use and it is great to get the latest discounts on thousands of websites. The best benefit is that your shopping can benefit your favorite charity as well. It's a Win Win!
Hey Diane, happy to hear you're loving Giving Assistant!
Easy to use platform, great for shoppers and non-profits. Great way for your supporters to donate by making purchases they were already going to make. Win-win!
Thanks for the kind words Emmy! Let us know if you ever need help with anything :)
Went on this website to find discount codes before purchasing on Target.com and not only were the titles of the codes to click on misleading, but none of them even worked. Avoid this scam and look elsewhere for legitimate coupon codes.

Hi Kevin, sorry to hear you had a poor experience with Giving Assistant! Newegg has strict terms on what it offers cash back on and it looks like some of the items you purchased were non-commissionable. If you have any specific concerns about where donations go, please feel free to reach out further! We send quarterly check payments to all nonprofits that receive donations on our site.
