I bought and got a confirmation email and then I got an email stating my purchase was canceled just like other have received. Got the same explanation which was nothing just that they couldn't tell me why it was canceled. What? Why?
Anyways I didn't get charged but the next day I had 3 unauthorized charges to my debit card that I had used for some crypto company Coinbase. I had to cancel my card. I am positive it had something to do with this site.

Have yet to been able to use my gift card I have contacted giftrocket and not have heard anything back I'm starting to wonder if this thing is a scam

SCAMMERS! GiftRocket made it seem like I was buying an ACTUAL gift card would work for the restaurant I chose! IT'S NOT EVEN REDEEMABLE THERE! I paid huge fees and threw away $$ to give my in-laws less cash in their bank... ONLY if they follow a bunch of tedious steps they probably won't even do! I could have sent them cash and a picture of the restaurant and it would've been a whole lot easier & better! What a COMPLETE scam and waste! Now I have a stupid gift to send and will probably be throwing away my money!

Literally the worst, at first you think your getting a specialized gift card, when in fact they just send the recipient money and take a hefty service fee of roughly 15%! In a day and age where Venmo exists, this is literally a terrible business. Shame on them for deception.

Without explanation, and my first experience with Giftrocket ends in lack of transparency and zero supper.

So I wanted to surprise my wife w/ these Louboutin Red Bottoms she's wanted for our anniversary. But since Louboutin doesn't do gift cards, I instead bit the bullet and overpaid Gift Rocket in the spirit of a genuine surprise -- a 1k gift to my wife that cost 1053 (53 bucks for them to do almost nothing). Still, I wanted the surprise element so whatever...

Anyhow, in a total misguided shock, Giftrocket cancels my order, claiming that I'm a security risk and saying they would provide no further details. First, I'm not a "security risk" in any way (credit score is over 800). But here's the worst part: Not only did they email me w/ this misguided cancellation notice, but THEY EMAILED MY WIFE -- thereby ruining my big surprise for absolutely zero reason except to... be cruel? Why email my wife about their silly mistake? Again, they refused to provide any details aside from insulting me by saying I was deemed a "security risk" when in fact I am just a nice guy trying to surprise my wife.

Just a laughably bad decision to cancel my order, but a way worse and baffling decision to email my wife just to try to hurt us? Fortunately, we laughed about it. And hey, I saved 200 bucks -- just purchased the Louboutin's for a total of 857! So a happy ending!

But Gift Rocket is a joke, a rip off, and bizarrely cruel -- an abomination of a company. Hilarious!

Not the best way to give somebody a gift card. I actually purchased a gift card for a Napa deli. Recipient unable to use it at store. Too 'complicated' to access gift. I ended up purchasing actual gift card from the store, not worth the $3 processing fee. I will not purchase from website again.

I wouldn't recommend this website at all. I was wary going into it from the beginning but they had a gift card to my mom's favorite store. 12 hours after I sent the gift card we got a notification it was cancelled. I questioned giftrocket and their response is very unhelpful and honestly weird. After seeing other reviews this place is definitely a scam and now I'm concerned because they have my credit card information. And the good reviews are prob bots

Bloody scammer, they charged me money by somehow with my debit card eventhough I don't even know them but there wepsite popup in my bank transaction.

My bank alerted me. Someone tried to run an odd amount from their company. I never had heard of them until today. Fraud fraud fraud!

I purchased a $20 giftcard and was charged for over $2,200. Emailed them three times and called them once (no option to actually leave a voicemail.) About five days after my emails, I saw a correction on my bank account to the correct amount and the next day they emailed me to apologize. I told my friend to not bother opening the email. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on my credit card for fraud.

My son sent me a gift rocket for Mother's Day and I didn't use it right away... When I tried to open the original email last week, it didn't work... it took 5 days, 4 emails and 2 phone calls(you can only leave a voicemail). I heard from them yesterday and responded immediately... I still haven't gotten a reply, but I tried the original email this morning and it worked... I immediately chose an Amazon card... easiest to get... I would NEVER RECOMMEND using this company.

Someone sent me $150 gift card. I've tried to load it several times on different browsers and it doesn't work. They will not return emails. Not bad customer service. ZERO customer service.

I just tried to order a $50.00 gift card for an email birthday gift. The charge said 50.00 plus 4.00 for a fee. When I went to pay, my Chase Visa card was declined and a text alert said they tried to charge $5,350.00. Before the text came through from the bank, and without showing the dollar amount, their website said your card has been declined and to try another card. I was confused, but tried again, then switched to a Capital One card. Also denied. I called both banks, and they said this is a scam site. So be careful, everyone! They have a beautiful website that seems legit.
