I ordered 16 pieces of custom cut charcoal foam for hard-sided gun cases. Their rep told me the cuts would be within 1/8", which would be perfect for the cases. All of the foam was cut oversize by 1/2" to 3/4". When I complained I was told the cuts were within their tolerance even though I was told 1/8". They told me to cut the foam down myself to the size I needed. And they charged me $100.00 to cut the foam. The business name is Foam Factory in Macomb, Michigan.

When we finally decided to replace our 6 cushions, I naturally searched our local stores and then the Internet. A clerk at a Jo-Ann fabrics center suggested researching Foam By Mail. I did and found exactly what I needed.
The order form was easy to fill out because you first choose the shape and density of the cushions. Next, you follow the onscreen directions for exact measuring of each one, plug in that information and that is it.
We were given an expected ship date of approximately 2 weeks. They came to us shrink wrapped on time and perfectly sized. Oh my, such a wonderful different they have made! Now, I need to order a long cushion for the media room sofa.
What can I say, we love our Dobermans. Even though they dig holes in the couches.

I was in need of replacement sofa cushions. I spoke to customer service prior to ordering my cushions. I specifically asked if the Dacron wrap (which is an added expense) would round the cushions out in the front as it does on my current cushions. I was told "Absolutely, the wrap is 1" thick and thicker in the front to round the cushion out and for added comfort" The wrap is less than 1/4" does nothing to round the cushion out. It is actually more like a piece of felt. The cushions are so hard they hurt to sit on them for any length of time. I emailed and called customer service only to be told I could not return a custom cut. My so called custom cut is an average cushion, nothing custom about my sofa. I then asked about returning the Dacron wrap since it did absolutely nothing for the cushion. I was told that was not possible. Customer service is very rude and dishonest. I recently ordered a dozen foam panels from Foam Factory to add sound insolation to my studio. The ordering process on line was quick and straight forward. The panels arrived in just a couple of days. After marking in the panels on the wall I used the recommended adhesive to attach them. Despite thinking of the ways this could go wrong, the installation was really easy. I am very happy with both the new look and the added sound quality in my studio. I will be ordering more products from Foam Factory in the future.

February 12,2015 Having worked on upholstery repair in the past, I was well aware of the value of high quality foam and was delighted when I discovered The Foam Factory online. Recently I was suffering pains which I believed were a result of the soft foam cushions on my two-year-old couch. I ordered high density replacement foam from The Foam Factory and received them as quickly as promised, at the price quoted. Instructions stating the foam should be unwrapped immediately were clearly stated on the package. The cushions were unwrapped and inserted into the couch, replacing the soft foam. Immediate I felt relief from the pinched nerve in my leg and within a day I was walking without pain. I cannot express my gratitude for the sterling quality, exemplary service, and affordable price. I highly recommend this "made in America" company to anyone in need of their services.

When I wanted to replace the cushions on my couch, I went online to price foam. I couldn't believe that most of the places that I researched, it would cost me almost as much as buying a new couch. But when I came across Foam Factory, I saw that I could purchase a sheet of foam, and cut the cushions myself. And with the free shipping, my bill was under $100. I have never made my own cushions before, but the foam came, I cut it out, and I now have a brand new couch. My friends and family just could not believe that I did this on my own! It was so easy, and the Foam Factory website gave me all the confidence that I needed for me to accomplish this!

I order LUX cushions that are 3 thick with the dacron wrap for an extra $12 for a set of benches I made for the my kitchen. The cushions came very quickly and very tightly wrapped. As instructed, I quick unbox and unwrapped them to give them time to expand. The dacron wrap was perfect on the cushions covering all four sides. I then stapled the upholstery cloth around a 3/4 plywood deck that made up the top (similar to how chair are done). The dacron wrap gives the seats a very professional-finished look along with making these cushions very comfortable. Buy the dacron, I've done it with and without and the difference is amazing, buy the dacron. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my benches.
