They don't honor contracts and label missed deliveries as "successful". Delivery instructions and contacting customer service did no good. A shipment of a check from my bank was paid to be delivered overnight and on Saturday. FedEx was told the business opened at 10:00 am. When they marked the shipment as delayed because they arrived at the business before it opened, contact was made via the ONLY number FedEx has. Two separate agents assured me they would contact the local FedEx in Romulus and have the envelope redelivered. This did not happen. Screenshots from the FedEx site are attached.
I have a package that is supposed to come from California to NY.
I'm trying to wrap my head around why the people running FedEx would send my package on its way out of California then abruptly stop it almost halfway across the country in Wyoming and then turn the package back to a different part of California only to let it sit idle for 3 days so they can repeat the process all over again.
You can't even make this up.
Absolutely horrible service. I ordered a rug and instead of leaving it at my front door
(as claimed) they dropped it at the end of the driveway, about 150 feet away. The rug was not only very heavy it was awkwardly shaped and pretty much impossible for a 69 year old woman to move. I complained to them but have gotten absolutely no response other than an auto-email. I'd never use them and I will be very unlikely to order again from a store that uses them.
If you want to have a hassle-free experience with shipping don't have FedEx deliver your items. On multiple occasions, I have had to repeatedly call their customer service line and ask them why they haven't delivered the package. Just to hear that I need to be there to sign for the package which isn't a problem. The problem arises when you ask for a later delivery time so you will be home to sign and they continue to try to deliver at 11:00 AM and you're still at work. Until you call so many times that they send you to the warehouse to pick up the package. Another gripe I and others that I have spoken to about their experience is that online tracking is at best a very rough estimate and at worst a complete guess not to mention a delivery date for when they are not even open and or shipping that day. All in all, I would recommend another company such as UPS or even your government postal services.
Hi there, I work for a company who are based near to Coalville in Leicestershire and have to say that our usual courier DALE is so helpful. Always really cheery, chatty and generally lovely. Couriers can tend to be sometimes on the grumpy side due to timing pressure but can honestly say, not Dale. Credit where credits due, the chap should get a pat on the back.
Multiple late late and late deliveries. No clear complaints procedure and social media contact just get taken offline to avoid bad publicity. I have changed to sitejabber to write a review after my latest delivery has just hit its 4th delivery date. I struggle to find one that got here on time and on the 1st delivery date. Please avoid using and go with another logistics company. Seriously, they can only be better than this!
Can't seem to ever get packages on time and as a small retail business owner and you have customers breathing down your neck because FedEx screws up is really getting annoying, 4 days late is unacceptable. If this was just a once in awhile thing that's fine but this is a constant and when you try and call to find out what's going on they give you the runaround and can't answer the questions directly
I hate receiving anything from FedEx... I never get the item when told to Receive... my current situation, my package was shipped from Georgia got all the way to California less than 40 miles from me and then disappeared and showed up in Texas 4 days later without any explanation, and trying to get help it's like getting a tooth pulled from a Dig... it aint happening...
How do you put someone on unpaid leave after he is shot at delivering packages.
He should be getting paid to be off. Now you people wanna put that driver on the same route. YOU ARE PUTTING HIS LIFE IN DANGER. Now you want to punish him for saving his own life. I hope you go bankrupt. You are a racist company. If it would have been a white driver I'm sure you would have changed his route and gave him paid leave.
That driver needs a raise. I hope he files lawsuit against you. I will be delegating my account and I'm going to blast you all over the world. You disgust me. Get your head out of you butt.
I would leave a zero star review if possible. I've been stuck at home all day waiting for a package that I have to sign for that was supposed to arrive 4.5 hours ago. It has been out for delivery for over seven hours now. I tried to call customer service and be connected to a customer service representative three times now, but Fedex's automated service system makes that completely impossible. No matter what choices you make through the automated system, there is no way to get connected. I don't know if my package is lost or will eventually arrive. It won't provide me any updated information. This is entirely insufficient and unacceptable customer service. I will never use Fedex again.
When I used fed ex to send merchandise back to a company they lost it and would not validate my claim. Now i ordered something from a company in Indiana who shipped via Fed EX. The merchandise arrived in CA where I live and was scheduled to be delivered the next day, yet when I looked at tracking somehow the product ended up at a facility in Pennsylvania. And now is stuck there. Can't get a "real" person to talk to me about this.

Unacceptable. From not delivering my package to not knowing who is even driving YOUR company trucks! How can your company function?! I saw the driver pull up and start to deliver packages and when I asked the driver (who might not even work for you since no one knows who is driving) if there was a package for me, "I got no more packages". Ta Da! A few minutes later I get an email saying "Delivery attempted - FedEx tried to deliver your package". Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. On so many levels. I was there watching the whole thing! I can tell you what, I will do my hardest to make sure I never order through FedEx again! As for your driver... fire them. 1. You are wasting money on someone who doesn't care about their work quality. 2. You save money as a company and you will need it because you will be getting less business!
Building a new computer I ordered parts from multiple sources. Everything from FedEx was days late and several are missing. They don't even know where they are other than they were out for delivery and then gone. Getting customer service is a chore and then they were no real help. All items ordered from Amazon and Ups were on time or early. No excuse.,
My delivery from Apple was to arrive last Wednesday. Then Thursday. Then Friday. It never showed up. I asked for it to be delivered over the weekend. No. Still isn't here. Almost a week late. Even Apple hasn't found out the reason for the delay. Lousy service as far as I'm concerned. I won't use FedEx ever again.
Website is terrible and of poor design, used to get people to waste time trying to contact them in hopes that they will give up before actually reaching customer service. Once you do get to talk to them, their representatives can either hardly speak English or you can hardly hear the person speaking and has loud background noise. Always try to avoid using FedEx.
Originally ordered about $2,000 worth of car parts from fedex and they were shipped to the wrong address. Thankfully the people found my phone number and called me. Recently ordered $1,300 of parts and same thing, shipped to wrong house. Hopefully same thing happens and some nice people call me. Inaccurate delivery dates as well. Seems like they are always two-three days late. Noticed that my package was out for delivery, failed to deliver multiply times. Horrible shipping company and hate when my packages are shipped with them. Have multi oil horror stories from my workplace as well dealing with shipping livestock.
When i tracked my laptop, it was mentioned that "refused by recipient".
I immediately called their CC but they just keep transferring me from one # to another and finally said your parcel has been shipped back to shipper.
Now, according to their policy they should have tried 3 times before sending it back or just have kept it at their pick up store in the city and informed the customer. But none was done regarding it.
Packages are never on time, they don't provide accurate updates nor helpful information. They are EXTREMELY unreliable. Terrible customer service. I have have several issues like this before, only with Fedex. Never again.
I am trying to have packages delivered at work in Tampa. A sign on the front door says deliveries are round the back. Fed Ex tracking says there is a delivery exception and that the business where I work is closed. Day after day. It isn't. I've been at work every day but Saturday that they "tried" to deliver. The security guard says the Fed Ex truck drives in the circular driveway by the front entrance and doesn't even stop. The US mail is delivered EVERY DAY no problem! I keep calling Ralph Lauren, who tells Fed Ex to go around the back but the drivers can't be bothered. The exact same thing happened with something I bought on eBay two weeks ago. It's hard to get through on their customer service line. Fed Ex is worthless! I am not going to purchase anything online that is delivered by Fed Ex. And one star is generous. There should be a no stars option.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely disgraceful service. Ordered an item whilst staying at an AirBnB, had to change accommodation unexpectedly and spent a week trying to change the delivery address. Three different people ensured us that the address had been changed, consistent delays and misinformation on their app and still the package was delivered to the initial address where they let a stranger sign for the package without ID. Nobody is able to do their jobs ok the back end and despite their apparently being three delivery notes attached to the packaged they were all ignored. You cannot speak to anyone on the phone other than an AI bot and the assistants via the live chat are completely bone idle and useless. Never in my life have I experienced a "courier service" as pathetic and incompetent as FEDEX UK. You deserve bankruptcy.
Answer: Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, FEDEX is looking to put itself out of business. I will be very happy when Amazon buys them for a discount.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
