Worst company ever! Stay away from them. They harass you to use the delivery service, but they don't deliver the prescriptions, they'll take all your personal data like credit card number. No serious at all and they have a huge mess internally, they're are worst than a cult to let you out! Kafkian process to get the prescription transferred to a "real" pharmacy.
I wasted month and a half trying to get approved for a med I have been taking for 15 yrs. And still got denied. Because they state they didn't get all the info back from my pcp. Which was a lie.
Then they wanted me to start over.
They never get the medication out before you run out. You have to call them multiple times to make sure they send it. Always at least one to two weeks late, their answer is it is being processed. If you have an option work with a different pharmacy.
Express Scripts sent me a medication that cost over $100.00 more than my usual one because the pills come in capsules rather than tablets. I had always used tablets before and have been with my current doctor for 10 years. When I called my doctor to inquire I learned my doctor did not initiate any change; express scripts did and incorrected stated there was no difference whatsoever in the medicines. To top it all off I cannot use the capsules because they are individually packaged and at 80 years old my fingers are no longer able to do the precise movements. If I try with this kind of packaging the capsules fly all over. Express Scripts refused to take back the unused and unopened package of medicine they sent me; they claim this is my fault. If I could leave them over this dishonest treatment I would but my insurance requires that I use them.
Zara proceeded to repeat the same phrase over and over again for the sole purpose of preventing me from speaking. This is after I told her that I did indeed have a valid prescription that my doctor had called in. She insisted that I didn't have a prescription when my account clearly stated that I did. She spoke to me like a wild dog. A vicious and wild dog. This company is a disgrace. You need to fire Zara. No one that speaks like a wild uneducated dog should be talking to customers.
Calling in a prescription to this company is a ridiculous joke. You enter in all the information on the automated system, then repeat it three times to a pharmacy technician who still doesn't get it right, then a pharmacist. It should not take 45 minutes to get one patient refills. The customer service is terrible! Every time I have to call this company I get a headache thinking about it.
They don't tell you when they no longer cover a prescription. You don't know until it's time to refill. No letter or email is sent. Also it seems they want pre approval for everything. After approval it takes 2 to 3 days to fill, so by then you have been without for 3 to 4 days. All because they don't notify you before your prescription runs out.
Don't expect to receive your meds. If your meds are controlled you will NEVER see them. Several calls from my proscribed doctor and still no meds. Obviously someone there is taking meds that don't belong to them, cause I never received them. This happened more than once and yet still received a bill for pills I never received. They are under investigation through my company
I would like to say thank you to the young man I spoke to this afternoon. He was able to resolve an issue that no one else could figure out for weeks. This young man is a true asset to your company. Debbi K
They okayed a prescription on the phone, then denied it at the pharmacy. When I asked for reimbursement, they gave me an online form that rejects past members, then told me to fax or mail them for just $20...
The absolute worst. I have never once gotten my medication on time in the two years I've been with them. Through my work, I have to use them, or I can drive an hour away to my hospital pharmacy. Everyone I work with has the same complaints. Doesn't matter how far in advance your doc requests the medication. You will never get it in time.
Express Scripts is used by my husband's employer. My husband and I prefer to pay for our scripts separately, but in order to do so, we have to pay by check because they won't allow separate payment online. I get notices refills are needed when they aren't, and when orders are refilled, they take twice as long being delivered as they were by our previous service. Efforts to resolve our issues have not been addressed to our satisfaction.
This must be the worst company ever don't know how they are still in business. They hold you hostage just to get ant kind of medication. No customer service all they care about is the bottom line. Don't give you the discount that the manufactor's offer ETC. They just plan SUCK
I've been out of my medicine for almost 2 weeks now. My Rx was sent in on Monday, and but it hasn't even been processed. Today is Saturday.
I called on Thursday to find out what I needed to do, but everything was handled on my end. I told them I needed my medicine as quickly as possible, but there was "nothing more they could do" and it "might" ship out on Tuesday- leaving me without my medicine another week.
This has been the most difficult and worst experience I've had and I don't appreciate paying for this service. My last service worked much better and I had zero issues.
I don't recommend this service to anyone.
Express Scripts only cares about money. It does not care about its customers. They constantly harass you to get your prescription drugs through them and they do not take no for an answer. They say they are trying to save you money, but all they care about is making money. Avoid at all costs!
I live in Montana and several times have had deliveries take over 2 weeks. The trucking company evidently does not have the equipment, means or will to cope with winter road conditions. They are incompetent, and unresponsive. VA/Tricare must find a new contractor for this vital service. Too many work from home employees means terrible service, why would we allow that in all of the places - Texas. Who is monitoring Expess Scripts performance? Someone provide some insight into how they got such a contract, sure looks political to me.
This is the worst company I have every had the displeasure of dealing with. They lost my nessacery anti rejection medications multiple times over a 2 year span. Getting them to correct these issues are nearly impossible. If you are a transplant patient aviod them at all cost.
My meds weren't delivered, even thogh the website says they were, and I'm almost out. Upon trying to contact Express scripts VIA their chat, I was told numerous times that all operators are busy, so I called the customer care number, which offered me no resolution. My insurance makes me use this service. I guess I will just pay full price out of pocket or face really awful withdraws. Oh well.
They have arbrarily decided that a prescribed medication I 've been on, for decades, now needs "prior authorization".
They can think of different reason to delay covering a prescription, and seem determined to waste the time of their clients and their clients' physicians with pointless demands of "have your doctor contact us, etc."
I don't know of they are farming out the handling of their customer service line to Mexico, but a translator would be helpful if you know anyone who speaks Spanish.
So that's ( language) one barrier. The pharmacists seem to understand why a particular medication is indicated, but they may or may not have accurate records of medicines they themselves previously filled.
Accredo appears to be have authority over what a pharmacist can or can't fill. They are worthless in all respects except their speciality of wasting people's time.
It's difficult to tell is the people at Express Scripts are stupid, incompetent, or both.
I've dealt with Express Scripts for years as mandated by employer insurance. Unbelievably inept. These people will give you health issues or make your current ones worse. Recently I had the displeasure of dealing with a customer rep who said they were holding up prescription of insulin while they waited for approval from doctor for home delivery. Since when do doctors approve that. That's what ES does. Deliver RX's by mail or parcel delivery. I asked her where I would go to pick it up. She couldn't comprehend that. I asked her of my RX had expired and they needed a new RX. She said no, they were waiting for response from doctor to approve home delivery. OMG... my blood sugar is going up, my blood pressure is going up. I'm having heart palpitations, I'm seeing flashing bursts of light. Dealing with ES is bad for my health. I got nowhere with this woman. All I could do was laugh and be thankful we weren't discussing this across a counter.
Answer: Fairly easy. They are just rude and incompetent. Delaying filling prescriptions.
Answer: It's a legit company with the worlds worst service
Answer: No. And since hell would have to freeze over before I ever actually do purchase anything from Express Scripts I want to have a success story.
Answer: I pay a monthly charge which is part of my Medicare Supplement Insurance. The total premium is $439 a month but it also covers other charges Medicare does not. Then for each drug Express Scripts charges a maximum of $20 for 90 pills if generics are used. Non generics depend on the medicine; they can be much more expensive.
Answer: I had no choice, it is the only option through my employer.
