The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to perceived deceptive practices regarding refunds and subscription management. Many users express frustration over the lack of suitable matches and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of wasted time and money. Customers frequently highlight inadequate customer service, with limited access to support and automated responses exacerbating their concerns. While a few users mention positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a need for improved transparency, better quality control of profiles, and a more responsive customer service approach.

Auto renew is an opt out and so be careful to delete in time or else you will find a 480 Pound fee. Service is ghastly and data base very limited. Overall a complete waste of time and money
Customer service is awful. They are not forthright on billing practices or their screening practices. When trying to resolve a scheduled payment (even though i closed and deleted my account), they made it impossible to pay, but sent threatening emails for law store and credit damage. They also tried lying about how much was owed. The card used exclusively for that account was hacked and fraudulent activity was found in another state. It's been one nightmare after another.
There are a lot of fake profiles and many people are there to scam you. The ones that are real are in relationships and trying to hide their marriage. The other sector can't even sit up to take a profile picture.
The questions that they ask are leading and many only give you two options to answer that neither answer i would use or agree work. The profile match is a joke and there is no relevant way to identify a match based on there questions. The entire process is a scam to get personal information from you and to extort money from you.
Do yourself a favor and don't sign up for this site. I wish i would have checked reviews before hand.
I had a a such a bad experience! For a week a did not receive any messages. Only matches a got from e-harmony collected are construction workers and stocking items night store workers. You are got to be kidding me. What a scam! Even those matches profile do not have a picture. Match is way ahead of this! Now I am stoke for 6 month with this crap. If I can I would not give even one star.
I signed up for eharmony, thinking that it would be a great way to meet other singles online. I couldn't be farther from the truth. 90% of the profiles don't have a picture and the matches of people are extremely limited unless you choose people that are 100 or more miles away. I am extremely disappointed and to boot it is extremely expensive.
The worst. They only care to lock you in a contract to take your money because they know if you had any free time with the app you'd probably stop using it. Quality and quantity of matches are low and now your stuck paying hundreds of dollars for an app you don't use
I was on eHarmony of the past, like in the late 2000's and it was great! A lot of cool people those days with realistic matches which led to good experiences. (male looking for female) It was affordable too--- very fair! Today, in 2023, it's changed a lot. The matches are ok to bad and the people never reply. (and I am no loser, lol) It's too expensive also! Are these matches fake ones or bots? It's just a bad vibe. Beware! Also, You are locked into the membership and can't get out of that commitment too. If I could, I would have been out free and clear last month but I have 2 more months to go! Thank God!
You will be required to pay for a minimum number of months. You will not find less than $300 in subscription costs. You can do this payment in four months, but if you get on and don't like what you see (immediately) you cannot get out of this subscription unless you live in a certain state. If their service was really so good they would not be opposed to a 3 day trial period for all states.
I subscribed, and cancelled it in less than 24 hours. They charged me £95, and refunded £30. When I questioned the rationale behind it, I was told that the £65 was for the WORTHLESS, STUPID, RUBBISH personality profile. It's complete nonsense - the personality profile. It's created by some dodgy software.
Read the fine print. They make you think you can cancel but that's only for like 3 states. I paid $95 for my first installment and canceled within 3 days. When my other payments didn't go through (I canceled my card) they came after me and sent me to collections, even though I followed criteria. The matches sucked too. Scam artists.
Few choices, fewer attractive. Old, inactive profiles lead people, like me, into purchasing a contract. I have been trying for months without success.
Very unhappy I definitely do not recommend.Effectively stuck their hands in my pocket and stole my wallet.
I paid a lot of money but the app doesn't work. I have never one had a visitor to my profile. I send messages to my "matches" and they keep disappearing. There is NO help or technical support - not an email or a chat box or a phone number or any place to submit problems - ONLY FAQ. Horrible - don't waste your money.
Avoid E-Harmony, if I could give 0 stars I would. I found the site fairly useless after paying for a year's subscription and so after a week or so stopped using the site and never logged in. It offered lots people who lived miles away and so for my circumstances just wouldn't work and no viable people at all, you don't realise this until they have your money. After 12 months they took £310 from my credit card as an automatic renewal, they have now taken over £600 for no service. Their argument is they do this to provide an uninterrupted service and so refused to give my money back. I feel that if they had confidence in the service they provide then surely after 12 months on their site you should no longer need their service! It's a very sneaky way of guaranteeing easy revenue and bolstering their profits.
EHarmony is a great dating site for anyone who is serious about finding a long-term partner. EHarmony uses a scientific approach to match you with compatible singles who share your goals and interests. I found my perfect match on eHarmony and we are now happily married.
I joined eharmony for 3 months.I paid upfront.I was given fake matches. The people weren't real. The company renewed my subscription automatically for one year. They will not give my money back.Don't join this site.Save yourself the disappointment.Find a company that has better customer service.
I'm out of a lot of money!Be aware of this dating site.! Don't join!
Created a free profile but had to buy membership to use the site. Realized in a matter of minutes it was full of fake profiles. I canceled auto renew within minutes on inputting card. I signed up for 6 months only to realize that the site flipped over to A YEAR. No customer service contact. Finally when someone did get back to me all they can do is repeat their own lies. Time and time again. No matches, no service, scammed money. I had to click on a rating, otherwise it would have been negative
E harmony did not live up to their side of the contract. I was in Northern calif, and asked for local profiles.the firs they sent me was e nice lady in Ukraine. Just before the Russian invasion! Another was a lady in maine.I guess their idea of local is a lot different than mine.on top of that, they forced me to pay for the years service! Caveat emptor
So I had technical problems that prevented me from actually communicating with people like 90% of the time. I spoke with someone who said I would get a call back 24 to 48 hours and it's now weeks later and I still don't have a call back. I found lots of horrible reviews online. Wish I would have looked beforehand. Stupid. I'm sure they're sitting back saying yay we got another one!
I tried to cancel within the 3 day grace period. I have emails to back it up sort of They deliberately did not reply for a couple days Now they say I missed the grace period. I signed up the 23rd
Todays the 26th whats the deal? I sent a message to the 4/24 saying I wanted to cancel Very rude customer service. And absolutely no way to take to a human
Thought I'd give it a go instead of tinder. Minimal people on the site. Everything locked behind a paywall and best of all minimum 12 month sign up with no cancellation policy... too bad if you meet someone (on another platform no less) and are stuck footing the bill for the full 12 months.
Answer: EHarmony is over rated and it's a lot of mumbo jumbo... If you're going to pay for a site match.com is set up much better and for a free site plenty of fish is really a nice site... BillyPrewitt.com
Answer: No. They won't refund you.
Answer: On your profile where you get asked questions like whats your fav movie and so on. Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
