We ordered a flower arrangement the day before a grave side service for my aunt. The flowers were not delivered for the service. I tried to call your company and was routed around to go online. I was instructed a refund would be processed. But it wasn't. Three days later a cousin said "thank you for the flowers". They weren't for the cousin. They were for the grave. I didn't even receive a confirmation that ANY flowers were delivered. Don't think I'll use your company again.
Ordered on a Friday, funeral was on a Tuesday@ 10:00 a.m. At 9:30 that morning an e-mail said that they could not deliver to the church, asking if there was an alternate address for delivery. This didn't make any sense. I asked for a refund.

At payment not happy I could not remove the candle associated with the arrangement I selected. I immediately got an email with a credit and a proper corrective measure on the company's part. Very on top of the order. A pleasure doing business with Evhovita.

This company is rehashing obituaries without permission and then apparently selling flowers for the funeral. This has been upsetting for the family and I can't believe someone would take advantage of a family's loss like this! Please remove my grandma Sherry's obit!

When obituaries are posted on the internet, we further share the basic facts only in a death notice format to inform society of who has passed away. We organize all obituaries and death notices by city, so that people can see who passed away daily in selected cities of their choice with a free subscription. We do this in an effort to create as much support as possible for families. People can share their condolences for free with the family via email or social media. Families can post full obituaries on our website for free or submit the full obituary to be shared by us and replace the pre-existing death notice. Families can then claim the obituary with proper proof, such as a photo of the death certificate to receive money raised through sales or donate it towards a charity of their choosing. I ordered a large bouquet of flowers for a funeral that I was unable to attend and the flowers that were delivered were nothing like I had ordered and paid for. It was a tiny table vase wirh very few flowers and mostly greenery.

AFTER the service was over, I received an e-mail saying they could not deliver. NO reason. You can imagine how distraught we were. TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING! Hope my refund is processed as requested on the phone. I was told there is NO WRITTEN CONFIRMATION OF REFUND, ONLY VERBAL. How can this company be trusted? Why are they still in business? First, you mentioned you weren't given any reason for the non-delivery, but if you spoke to Blooms Today over the phone, as you said you did, they would be able to provide you with a reason as to why the local florist failed to deliver your order. Your refund wa processed on June 7th. The second discrepancy, is that you stated you were told there is no written confirmation of refund, only verbal, which is 100% not true. A confirmation of the refund is sent to you via email from both Blooms Today and Echovita, so you should check your spam. Lastly, Echovita is an obituary website and over 90% of the flower orders placed on our website are fulfilled and delivered on time without any complaints. Our partner, Blooms Today is also a very trusted company. Both of us put our trust in the local florists assigned each order to fulfill the orders correctly and deliver them on time. If the local florist advises Blooms Today that they can't fulfill the order in advance of the delivery date, Blooms Today does their best to find another local florist capable of fulfilling the order. However, if the local florist fails to deliver the order without notice or delivers an unsatisfactory arrangement, our only option is to notify the customer and refund the order. Thank you.
I purchased flowers for a funeral, and then, on the day of the funeral, I was told that they would not be able to be delivered in time. I was asked if I wanted to send them to a family member's house instead. I agreed and then scheduled the delivery for the day after the funeral. The day after the funeral, when the flowers were supposed to be delivered to a family member's house, I received an email stating that they would not be able to make the delivery on that day but that it would be the following day. I was not provided with any other options in the email. The next day, the flowers were delivered, but I never received a confirmation for delivery. Would not use this company again.

Seeing that we couldn't attend our good friend's funeral, we sent a plant. It was easy to order and arrived on time.
I believed I was on a legitimate local site connected to a loved one's funeral home and made the mistake of ordering very costly flowers which were assured to be delivered to the ceremony in a timely way. The site even indicates reminders e.g. "there's still time to get flowers delivered for the service" etc. Embarrassingly, I am at the service and of course the flowers are NOT there leaving me trying to search and explain to those that shared the cost with me. Later I received a delivery notice hours and hours after the service. No clue if the family ever received them or if they even actually arrived...

Beautiful arrangement, easy to order, not overpriced, easy check in and check out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the actual arrangement had a very small space where flowers should have been and a few lilies that were a little brown at the tips. Quick and easy way to send flowers for a funeral in a town I am not familiar with, took the hassle out of finding a florist! I was asked to provide a candle on the announcement, I didn't see where there was a charge for this so I clicked yes. I was VERY surprised to see I was charged $10 for this, something that costs NOTHING to put on the website. Very misleading.
I have now been chastised for my review. Yes, maybe I should have seen the extra $10, but think about where my headspace was at that moment in time. I was dealing with a loss and just desperately trying to get something to the funeral to show my support since it was too far away to be there in person. Jordan L was snippy in her response to me, if she wanted to make me feel stupid, she succeeded! Before her response I would have used Echovita again. Now, probably not.

During the checkout process, in step 4, it clearly states the candle is $9.99. You could have removed it from your order. It is also displayed in the complete price breakdown on the left-hand side of the screen before placing your order. Virtual candles are not free to implement. There is the cost to create the virtual candle, which involves programming and services. Just because something is virtual/digital, doesn't mean it is free. If you don't want the candle, please contact us directly via our website, and we can cancel and refund it. Thank you.

I live overseas and found the ability to order and have a lovely arrangement delivered was a great service for me as I was not able to do anything in person. Answer: Candles, messages, and memories left on Echovita only appear on the obituary page you left it on Echovita. They do not simultaneously appear on the funeral home's website. No where on Echovita does it say candles, messages, or memories left on our website appear on the funeral home's website. You stated you attempted to call our company and you were redirected to go online, however, that doesn't make any sense because Echovita does not have a phone number, unless you called our partner Blooms Today at 1-800-522-8707, which is the number on your receipt. I'm not sure how or why you were redirected to go online, unless you called outside the hours of operation because they don't redirect customers to go online. A delivery confirmation email is sent by Blooms Today, so maybe you received it in your spam. Is it possible your cousin is the child of your aunt? They could have taken the flowers from the grave site, since it was a basket of flowers, and not planters. When flowers are delivered to graves/burials, the family can take them home if they want.
