Support team is too bad

The advisor is always claiming to be trying his best to help, but no matter what I asked or answered, no typed words respond. Every time I open the live chat, the advisor was just spamming the same sentences even after I asked him politely to stop spamming and just answer some simple questions. I want to describe my situation so he can help, but he always interrupted me by sending the same sentence I've seen other advisors sent me before. I think maybe it is not their fault since they may have a really bad day and just don't want to type words. But since this is customer support, unfortunately I have to give 1-star rating for got harassed by chat spamming and no help received. Sorry about that.

False Ban
January 4, 2022

They banned my Apex Legend account which I had over 1500 hours of play time and over a thousand dollars of in game purchases due to false accusations of cheating, and then told me to f myself when I asked for details regarding the "investigation" they conducted in my account. This is the final straw for this terrible company. I will never, EVER buy another one of their products, or anything from any of their daughter companies. I recommend everybody else stay away from them. Respawn is the only decent studio under their wing and now I will say goodbye to them as well.

They will banned you for saying the word "kick rocks." Don't contact them or dispute; waste of a week. Terrible company that just needs money to make more unentertaining game. Don't contact them because they're too busy with their everyday lives; mainly taking care of their hamster mothers. (I'll probably get banned again for that)

Forced to upgrade to the new EA App, it is rubbish and it does not work. No error reporting, so I can't troubleshoot. The support advice from the ea.com website is even more useless than the app. Typical EA release, obviously not tested properly, and rushed out - just about what I would expect from this company. I would not be surprised if all my purchases have been deleted - this company are a gang of thieves.

This is so frustrating. I pay for xbox game pass for my daughter which comes with EA typically. However, since my daughter isn't old enough, EA wont let her install any games unless I actually buy them. Even though I am supposed to be able to get them for free. This is insanity.

EA has some issues, Thay recently suspended my Pogo account and have not responded to my question, why? They keep telling me it's under review. Review of what?. I have been a paying customer for more than 10 years. No, I don't like leaving my credit card on file and I have PayPal as an option to pay. What is going on EA? That's no way to treat a loyal customer.

The GUIDELINES of the company is stupid! There are of no help! My PSN account was linked to another account and now I am unable to link it to an account that I created! They kept asking me questions about this mystery account that I HAVE NO ANSWERS for because I didn't create it. THEY NEED BETTER RULES!

Stay away from this company because as of late, their games are god awful and make you so frustrated and angry. I have owned EA games in the past and trust me, each one of them has been a disappointment so far. EA say that they know what is best for their gamers and honestly they are far from it. I do hope that they change their ways about the way that they make their games, but that is going to take a miracle and personally I'd wish that they would go bankrupt. But that is just my opinion, don't take it too seriously.

Was able to play battlefield 2042 for 10 days. EA stated I needed to update password on account but it was so old I needed their help in updating it and the process was extremely complicated and they would not resolve it. I paid 60 dollars for a game I can't even play.

EA is worse than a shell of itself. They have the same glitches year after year. I play Madden and it is painful. The announcers in game are garbage never keeping up with the action. The servers constantly unavailable or lose connection. I have had to replay games multiple times because it didn't save the results and lost connection. Play is glitchy.

Made multiple ingame purchases and and now I cant login into my account. Contacted support multiple times with no direction. Some websites are not even available. Customer support is non existent. Do not spend on any EA product. Scamming morons

Deleted My Account

EA games took it upon themselves to delete my account because I hadn't logged in for a few years while I was without a computer. I remember my logins and password, but they require you reset password. Unfortunately the email account I originally signed up with is no longer active and cannot be recovered, so there's no way to reset password through my email address even though I did know my old password.

Instead of offering other ways to recover the account, such as verifying through phone number, security questions, etc. they just delete your account and tell you to repurchase their games under a new account. Talk about corporate greed. I had hundreds of dollars worth of games under my old account. "Just buy them again!" is the only solution this money grubbing company can come up with.

I bought an add-on for the sims 3 called roaring heights and it didn't show up anywhere so I called them for a refund and said they were unable to. Why is there an option to buy an add-on thats not going to even show up in the game.

Not everyone has the chance to get an Xbox or a Play Station. Because you have to have one of those to get the Sims game. Then you would also have to get a TV a controller it's just really inconvenient. If it was on the Nintendo switch, I feel like a lot more people would probably play it. It would be a lot easier to have because I cannot get an Xbox or PlayStation but I already have a Nintendo switch. I've never played the game and it looks really fun. I just can't play it. I just really wish they would put it on the Nintendo switch so a lot more people can enjoy.

Bad experience
March 24, 2023

My account was due to expire on Feb 26,2023. On Jan. 26 they charged my account $39.99 for a one year subscription. I wanted to unsubscribe to the account as my husband played it and he passed away. When I finally was able to contact someone thru a chat option they told me they couldn't refund the charge. The phone number they supply on their web site connects to a phone sex line.

EA has no support.
Games do not work, and they do not fix issues.
Example is Star Wars Squadrons Anti-Cheat simply will not work.
All other game sellers have fixed issues, but EA has not.
I will never buy a game published by EA again, and will not recommend to anyone.

I have had my name represent testicular cancer awareness for many years. I have played Apex for many years with my name. And now they have an issue with it, and have suspended my account twice because of it. My name is not sexual or inappropriate. This game has so many hackers, but they chose to suspend players who have been here playing to have fun. When I ask them about the suspensions, and let them know what it is for, I do get ignored and they decline the case. They only care about their money, and not their loyal players.

I had an problem with changing my email address for an account I had with them and after not being able to find their answer in their knowledgebase, I registered for a callback. They called me back within 5 minutes, even though I am not based in the US and stayed on the phone with me for more than 20 minutes until my issue was fully resolved. Thanks EA... that's what I call great service!
