The fasting tracker is great. It has helped keep me accountable. I wish that you could put water in there manually easier. In one of my other apps I they just had an add button and it just increased the amount of water. I don't really use the nutrition end as it is hard for me to add foods that I eat as a lot of my meals especially in the evening are home made. So that make it difficult. It does not pair with my fitbit like it should. But overall his has been a good app so far
A pencil and notepad could work just as well - not only is this not worth the money, but once you purchase you are inundated with emails and messages in app to buy their other overpriced products.

My husband and I bought the weight and downloaded the app together and only one user can use it! And logging food is not that easy…lack of info about the fasting process of how why and when to fast!

Unlike other fasting tracking software, which allows you to choose any number of hours you want, and even add your own time buttons, this software only allows for a number of predetermined fasting programs.
The software allows you to monitor water consumption, but unlike dedicated water monitoring software, it does not allow you to determine the size of your glass freely, but offers a limited number of sizes of drinking vessels.
The software is graphically beautiful and very user-friendly, but somewhat limited in terms of the flexibility granted to the user.

1) Regarding the fasting times, we offer various predefined fasting methods. You CAN easily start and end your fasting window WHENEVER you want. So if you want to have a 15-hour fast, but there are only 14:10 or 16:8 choices, you can go to your app and finish your fast at the 15-hour mark.
2) On the home screen, scroll down to the hydration section, where you see limited choices. Tap the 'Hydration' button, and there you will be able to enter ANY amount of water, starting with 0.5 oz (or 10ml).

This is review of the app and not the program itself. There are a few things that would be helpful, if corrected (not in any particular order):
1. Hydration: There is got to be a way to enter the total for the day instead of choosing multiples of whatever default values are shown. I have a Coleman that holds 20 ounces of water and I drink 5 / day and couldn't figure out a way to accurately put 100!
2. Nutrition: It is split into 4 categories with preset amounts which I ignore. For the longest time I have skipped dinner and only have 20 ounces of coffee and 2 packets of Metamucil Wafer Thins for its fiber content, then eat lunch. Eating dinner and going to bed has never made sense to me, so the default values should be adjustable.
Also, the search for ingredient does not work at all. They should partner with a company like Nutritionix which is OK for getting information. I had to search the web and create my own database for what I eat and use the custom meal feature to capture it. The problem is, it has a favorites tab which you cannot tag anything as favorite and the Recent tab hold only so many meals. That should be a relatively easy fix,
3. I should be able to go back to previous days and add something, if I forgot to log it. Today you can change or delete what you put down but you cannot add anything! Why?
4. Activity: It seems like the activity is based on number of steps. I do not have nor do I need an Apple watch. When I work out, I do not put my large screen iPhone in my pocket (I have started recently) so number of steps are not accurate nor is calories used due to physical activities. Allow people add weights, golf, basketball, etc. to the activities so things are properly represented.
These are simple issues I have run into since I started the program a couple of days ago but clearly the people that create these apps do not use it themselves or set it up the way they would use it which makes no sense!

2) These categories are the recommendations, so it's easier to follow the daily calorie intake. Feel free not to use them if you wish to. Next, the 'Favorites' tab is for the recipes (meals). Go to 'Meals', choose your favorite one, and it will appear in the 'Favorites' tab.
3) It's great feedback, we will make sure to consider adding this function.
4) We are already discussing these features - we want you, our customers, to have the ability to enter other workouts, not only steps, so this will definitely be introduced in the near future.

I'll start by noting this app requires payment ahead of time to use, and for $69 I expect much more than a free or inexpensive subscription app (like Cronometer or even MFP).
The 14-hour fast is easy enough to set up and fits well enough into my routine. I am not really seeing results specifically from the fast.
The water tracking reminders are very helpful in getting me to drink a lot more water and correspondingly less diet soda.
Features I'm missing:
- change the water quick-log presets. I have a 24-oz bottle that I fill several times a day, but can't change one of the presets to 24oz. I also drink 20-oz zero calorie flavored water, but again, no 20oz preset and they can't be changed.
- copy a previous meal or set of foods to another day/mealtime; whatever I have for dinner tonight is likely to be my lunch tomorrow, but I can't copy or duplicate it.
- turn off the advertisement notifications. I already have "general" notifications off and only "reminders" on, which I expect is to remind me to start or end my fast; but it's also sending me notifications at least once a day about product sales. For a paid app this is not acceptable.

The program is easy to follow and the app timers and notifications keep me on task. I've lost 6lbs in my first 2 weeks. The new food scanner is a great feature for quickly adding items to the calorie tracker. Timely articles/content throughout the process help me be more educated about why it works. The app is great! The recipes they have that you can pick from are amazing. And as you lose the weight, you don't feel as hungry anymore.A couple of more months I should reach my goal. There are a few things about the app that I don't like but all in all it's doing what it supposed to.

This app includes almost no services! Once you pay your initial fee, you will be bothered again and again to purchase more little parts of the program that you were led to believe were included. It's impossible to get a refund once you've paid. Stay away from this app!

First, the only way to get in contact with Do Fasting is through chat and their team is not that helpful. The app needs to be much more detailed to make it useful. When you search for food, most are not in their database. Other diet apps have very extensive database of prepared, branded foods. Others allow you to scan the package barcode in order to get the dietary info...not the case with DoFasting. It would be great to have experienced team members to chat with in order to ask questions. Adding any other liquid other than water is not doable. Custom food that is entered into the system is only linked to that specific category (breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner). As an example, if you have crackers for a snack, you would also have to enter it again under another category like lunch if it is part of your meal. Just doesn't make sense. My take is that everything is TOO general.

I am enjoying using DoFasting and I am finally losing weight! I have tried so many things that failed!
The only thing I wished that was available is the ability to track other exercises besides walking. I swim laps and do water aerobics several times a week.

It works but doesn't link to my smartwatch. So you should be able to manually key in steps etc. Also the directory of foods is not very complete and many times asks for grams only. Other measurement options like cups, etc would be helpful.

This more of a question not a review. I am considering DoFasting but after reading reviews I would like to know if the issues with meal and calorie input have been resolved to make it more user friendly and do you now send out notifications prior to auto renewal? Companies that do not send notifications prey on the thousands of people that forget to cancel which generates tons of free cash flow for the company. This really an ethical issue, which you tend to see with shady companies. Hope all has been corrected as there are other top rated app that have resolved or do not have these issues.
