Good refreshing lessons, i love the lesson, when driving on the ice, because i live in houston texas, i know the weather is most of the time hot, but now we started seen some snow during the winter.
I did learn also when you drive fast it will take more distance to stop than when you drive slow, the distance it sort
The video is from some time ago, maybe if if was updated it would be a little bit more interesting to watch. The information that is given is very educational but in my opinion maybe a more updated version could be added for younger driver as myself. It's not completely boring but something more up to date would probably be a lot better, that's just my opinion though.
These videos hold so much information about being a defensive driver. The only issue I had was the video stopped after every 2 minutes of playing until I had to refresh the page Everytime it took double the time to finish the course
Registration was easy and started video course very fast. Content is good and informative. Only completed the first section so far and it's been all good. Now to take the quiz. Great to be able to stop and go at my pace.
So far, So GOOD! I've only finished one of six modules but I like the course so far. This may sound a bit cheesy but I am already paying more attention when driving! Maybe it's a psychological thing but I have noticed it already, and I drive about 40,000 miles a year for my job...
It would be helpful if the course was updated. Most of the videos look like they were made back in the 1970's. Also, in some instances, conflicting statistics are provided in videos versus written text.
Yes, the course itself is 25dlls, but what they don't initially tell you is that instant download of your certificate of completion is another 25dlls. Only free option is delivery via USPS, and that takes up to 10 business days to receive. Just be honest about your pricing.
Just do it, helps with my insurance rates and a good refresher on drivers safety in general. Everyone should have to complete the course every 5 years.
Called the customer service to report a problem. Was told a supervisor would return my call. They never called back. Please don't get involved with this company. They are only concerned with taking your money. If your have a problem the website tells you to call with your comments but when you call they they dont care to hear your issue, they just want to get off the phone. There's nothing they will do for you. It's the N. Y. defensive driving course.
Enjoyed watching the video as a refresher and knowing how unexpected life happens. So of the stories I could relate too. I had a wreck a few months ago when I hit a patch of ice luckily I was wearing my seat belt and wasn't injured or hurt anybody else.
It was a fantasticly easy and simple and quickly done fast method of doing a defensive driving course except for the review which is slightly annoying and hurts my brain in why they thought it was a good idea but here we is and i have to do this to even do the thing and not get my drivers card taken away but hey easy quick and good.
I am not happy with my defensive driving course because I was not able to print my certificate like I was under the impression I could. They wanted an additional $25 to print my certificate instantly. I had already paid $25 to do the course.
I appreciate the training but it is too long. My knees was hurting. I had to stand up and do squats just to keep myself from locking up. I paused the video several times to use the restroom. I understand there is a lot of information, but finding the time between work and the test was hard. Six hours is too long.
This is a great course with useful, realistic information. It is not boring and really covers everything a driver needs to know in an efficient way. My only complaint is that the minimum time limit required to work on things is slightly frustrating because as a fast learner and worker I cannot go ahead at my own pace.
This company falsely advertises a $25 dollar course but in reality they try to swindle you out of more. To get your certificate they present two main checkout options which are both an extra $25. Oh but the tiny hidden check box underneath those two options is actually free. Then once you realize you've been swindled and you go to customer service after checking every part of the website to find details about hidden fees only for them to be disrespectful and keep going with scummy ways and say that everything is provided on the website when it's CLEARLY NOT! If I could I'd reverse the charges, null the certificate and take the 6 hour course on another website to avoid giving this company my money.
Rather disappointed with how long the course takes, videos are low quality, and being surprised at the end with having to pay even more to get the download certificate was unpleasant and shady. It's a trap since you already finish the class
Quick, clear, and easy way to complete the required course for defensive driving. My only issue with this program is that attaining help or achieving contact with them has been rather poor. I've called multiple times in the past couple of weeks and have never been able to reach assistance; I even left a voicemail that contained contact information as well as the problem I was facing (the problem being that the DPS record request will not go through for me despite multiple days on various different days) and have yet to receive any kind of call back or acknowledgment that my voicemail has been heard.
The experience was wonderful. It was very insightful and user friendly. I was able to complete in a single session but had the option to split into multiple sessions should you so decide.
Its going pretty good, a lot of numbers to try to remember just in case they will be in the test. I am in chapter 4 and thought there would be more basic rules and training like from out of the drivers manual
Constantly bugging me about ordering a driving record at a much higher cost than the state court cost, charging $10 more than the state's set rate and charging a $10 fee for a simple download on top of that is absolutely ridiculous. On to of that, a two week delivery time for free delivery of a certificate is ludicrous. I won't be using your service again or recommending it.
