I purchased several items in store this past black friday and was charged twice for one item. I figured I'd call cotton on and have it sorted. Come to find out, the phone number is disconnected and referred me to a chatbox. After waiting in a queue of 30 people, I'm finally connected and I explain the situation and ask to be refunded the extra charge. The "employee" doesn't seem like AI but seems like a scammer, and didn't understand my request whatsoever.
There is absolutely no other company that has customer service even close to as atrocious as this company. The company does not accept returns for their poor quality jeans.
They are very deceptive. The stores give the impression that the company is on a level comparable to The Gap or American Eagle but they are very very tiny. The clothes look nice and fit well but do not hold up to a few washings.
You have far better options for the same type of clothes.
I bought an $80 jacket online. When I got it I opened it and tried it on for less than one minute. I tried to return it in person at the only store in my city at fashion show mall in Las Vegas. A sales worker named Jasmine said I could not return it because it looked worn and smelled like perfume. I'm going to try to just return online now that I've wasted my time but this is the most ridiculous experience I've ever had.
Ordered product, and understandably charged. I was sent an email to track the delivery status which hasn't updated in a week. Attempts to get an update are automated messages which offer no details. Should have done a deeper dive on the company reviews which are riddled with the same issues
Cotton-On claims that you will get a discount of 20% on your first online order.
This is NOT correct. The discount only applies to items which are not already discounted. For me, it reduced my purchase from $350 to $320 (it should have been $280).
I would encourage cotton-on NOT to mislead customers.
The blonde working checkouts at this location must be having the worst day of her life or is just an absolute awful human being. Don't expect a "hi" or "thank you" just expect the rudest attitude you can imagine. Clothes are great though.
I purchased two pairs of jeans from here online. One pair didn't look how they did online, the bottoms were all cut up and fringy. The other pair ripped the first time I wore them. One legs ripped all down the seam, just from crossing my leg. I'm currently waiting on a refund, but beware customer service is horrible and I'm not optimistic I will receive it.
I purchased some gifts from the Cotton:On website that never showed up. You can't call them, you have to chat online. They agreed to refund my money after about 30 minutes. I received an email stating they refunded the money, and that I'd receive it in 1-5 business days. Six days later I had to chat with them again, and again they said 1-5 business days. This place is a total scam, don't buy from them!

I was given clothing for Christmas as a gift that didn't fit me. Went into the Physical Ballito store and they refused to give a refund or even a voucher that can be used at a later date without the purchase receipt, even though the Cotton On tag was still on the item and their computer system recognizes the item and price (they had nothing else that I liked in my size - at the time).
Returned an item at another clothing store brand without any issues whatsoever.
Will no longer support Cotton On!
I bought hair clips for my daughter at Cotton in's westfiled store. Six mini clippers cost 10 dollars. And the plastics are so thin. I can image they break in a few days.
When I got home, I searched Temu and AliExpress, same clippers they sell 2 dollar for 50 pieces. I was so surprised by how cheap these things are.
I will never buy any accessories from Cotton on again.
Never shop here in you life unless you want to be accused of stealing each time you walk into a dressing room! This store is absolute bull $#*! and never EVER shop here in your life. I had a pair of leggings and was accused of stealing them even though I was going in line and about to buy them. Just because the tag wasn't on I got in trouble for "stealing" the item. She immediately tried to search my bags and found nothing and I told her "Your not searching my bags" and she still continued to snatch them and try to go through the bag. I would also like to add to this that they kicked me out and they banned me from their store. This store is awful and their clothes rip easily and are see through never ever shop here. The workers are $#*!s. Location that I was at was in Short Pump Mall, Virginia.
I purchased a supposed rug from this website and when it came in, it was in no way a rug. When I tried to return it, they ignored my emails for 2 weeks. They finally sent me one asking for a picture of the item i purchased. I sent the picture and I haven't heard back from them. Also, when I initially purchased the item, the confirmation email was not in the company's name, but in the name of an individual. Poor poor quality and service. Definitely a scam!
The return process from US was relatively simple and they provided return label for no cost. They however processed a refund that was less than the cost of goods returned, also not inclusive of taxes paid on the goods. I emailed them asking for a breakdown of what items I sent back and what they gave me for each item, as many other companies do automatically. They refused to do this and their only response was to refund me a random $1.89 as if to say f you. I've spent a lot of money w this company and love their children's clothing line for my girls so it is a real shame that they are so purposely deceptive with returns.
She charges me for 0.10 cent but nvr give bag? N also treat me poorly like I had no money so racist. The cotton on is located at Jem level two I was there around 6:30 pm
I've shopped Cotton On for about a decade on two continents, both online & in a shop. The clothes are are well made and retain their shape even after dozens upon dozens of washes. When shopping online, they include a return postage label for stress-free products returns. Having worked retail in my younger years, I can mention to the disgruntled reviewers that most places don't accept returns if the tags are removed. That's pretty much standard. I appreciate the quality materials and modern fit for Cotton On products. Also, I've never had an issue with shipping. I don't usually write reviews but I don't understand the hate for this brand. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
I had been placing hundred dollars of orders. Very disappointing cotton on engaged an unreliable delivery company to send my products. Cannot track, Online chat with cotton on no response. Cannot find any telephone number to contact them. Do not buy from them again. Shopee and Lazada, I paid lesser price, but they used a reliable good delivery company to deliver. Customers want to know delivery status, no information given.
We never received what we ordered. They told me to take it up with UPS since UPS said they delivered it. UPS was contracted by Cotton On to deliver, I was not part of that transaction, but they refused to contact there delivery service to remedy the situation. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but one was never made available. They have zero concern for their customers, they get their money and they are done with you.
Purchased earrings for my niece for Christmas but were not delivered. Just today they were returned to me anomalously. In the meantime I had called and they refunded me as they couldn't promise that I would get them on time so I purchased a gift card to give to her just a few hours ago and still haven't gotten the printable card but the Money is out of my account.So I called and told customer service was returned the earrings and wanted to use the gift card as I was being an honest person, I was told no, may I remind that I still don't have the gift card but I have the Id number for the purchase. I was just trying to be honest and I don"t shop here it is not a store that I use. They just HUNG UP ON me! Terrible SERVICE!
I order a baja hoodie xxl and paid 2 day shipping, finally after 4 days the wrong item comes in a cheap looking button up shirt, so i send a email and was told the correct item would be sent, low and behold another wrong item comes in today, i have never experienced anything like this before, total unprofessional
