I have visited cnet for almost 2 decades and while they used to have good content all they offer now is an infinite variety of obnoxious ads that do everything possible to distract the user. Maybe you need a few adults to guide the kids who assemble this crap.

I mainly come here for reviews, those are pretty decent. Concerning the downloads - got some drives couple of times without any problems. Yet its not the experience to say all the files are perfectly safe.

When I tried to search the reviews, the site became absolutely unusable. Elements kept bouncing around so that filters I had no interest in would be applied (while I could never get the ONE I cared about to activate). Within 5 minutes the tab it was in was using 3.5 GB of memory (for comparison Amazon was at 650 MB after 15 minutes of active, successful searching).

I find Sitejabber a useful tool when buying products. Being able to read about people's experience with a company, I am able to weigh up all the different angles to buying an item. It can give me an insight to how the company functions, from how easy it is to order, the product itself, how the company performs about returns and hints and tips

The internet is the great equalizer. In business specifically, it has leveled the playing field. Anyone can start a money-making online businessanyone with a computer, that is. But here's the thing: virtually no technical experience is needed. Today there are plenty of tools you can use to build an online business that makes the technical work a lot easier than it was in the past.

I love this site. I am far from being an expert in anything related to computing, but I get by. This site provides good reviews on the products out there and interesting articles to help consumers make informed choices. They are a hub for useful downloads too.

For techno-no-nothings like me, this site is super. Anything you can imagine in the electronic/software/gadget/techno world can be found on cnet.com. Product reviews, ratings, how-to-use-product videos and best prices at available stores - all this and more is there for you to do your "pre-shopping" research. These folks make me look smart!

When ever I need to download software I get it from cnet.com. I like it because they make sure the files are clean and also you can get a lot of customer reviews before you download anything. Some of the best utilities I have found I found on Cnet. I also find their product reviews for electronics to be very good as well. I can't say enough about them.

Like Kevin said, this used to be a reliable, trustworthy site. Now, their reviews are untrustworthy and often manipulated. I've spent hours removing malware from infected downloads which they said were malware-free.

Cnet is a site that informs you on software and tech. It has all types of software some free some free to try others buy now ect. The best thing is that you can read not only user and company reviews. It has the number of downloads and non bias comments. The downloads are always safe and reliable. It is easy to navigate through and no gimmicks. Free to register. This is the site i use to download anything.

I use cnet to find freeware (not trial version) or to check reviews about software I propose to buy. Each item shows how many users have downloaded it and their reviews.If you need help with how to, cnet has tutoring videos and text, detailed instructions, on many topics. I trust the site and rely upon staff reviews.

I have used cnet.com for sometime and have always been pleased with their product reviews on electronics. However, if you start a search for, lets say (software) at the bottom, on some of the result webpages they have (Sponsored Links) using these links your on your own and they are not endorsed by cnet.

Excellent site to find excellent reviews and information on all different aspects of technology plus the site also allows one the ability to download important pieces of software that can help in the maintenance of their computer.

Simply a great site.
