I can't give check into cash any stars. Husband got harassing phone calls the day the payment was due. They wrote in his file that he would not answer his phone when they called. The problem is they would call while he was at work. The company that my husband works for does not allow cellphone in the plant if caught with a cellphone your fired on the spot, its in the contract that you sign to work for the company. The guy that did the application for the loan put down the date that direct deposit comes in not the date that paper checks are given out. My husbands direct deposit didn't start until today. Because my husband didn't answer the phone call from check into cash they deposited the check at 2 pm. My husband always let them know that he would be in around 5 pm to come in to make payments. Today husband goes in to make the payment and was told that because of not having his phone on and his payments where always late they took the check and deposited it and that my husband was under review and it would be August 23,2015 before we would know if there was going to be any more charges. Remember my husband was getting a paper check the following Mondays not on the Thursdays the date on the check stub. Because the guy put down the date of the direct deposit which is on Thursdays not Mondays. Thats why the payments where always late. He would not change it no matter what we or anyone that worked for the same company my husband workes for told him. If you can help it DO NOT GO TO CHECK INTO CASH. They will stab you in the back.
I'm a long time user allway helpful with any?. The people that work there have always been kind. I would not use any other place for my check cashing need. Thanks for your service

If you enjoy being harassed prior to your payment date do go to Check into Cash! No matter your payment due date & history of timely payments they will not only telephone you to remind you but PRESS you as to what time of day you will be in to make it as if they are making special arrangements to be open beyond their posted hours (which do not always reflect their door being locked & and a "Will be back sign") They are relentless regarding these unnecessary & unwarranted calls & if you have answering machine as I do that blares if I don't reach it in time & blasts their reminders & demands of "what time will you be here!" to any and everyone in a hundred foot radius...& watch who draws up the agreement as new people are shaking in their boots & often screw up amounts & appropriate interest. Borrowing this kind of $$$ is a sad experience as it is but does not have to be a demeaning one in addition, & expect the same lack of discretion & privacy as well as respect for the customers in their offices... for a good dose of humiliation to go with the cash you must need desperately to go there Check into Cash for a fulfilling experience!
Beware of check into cash title loans. They don't tell you up front that the full amount borrowed is due on the payment date. Their title loans include a $50 loan origination fee and a $20 documentation fee. At the payment date, if not paid in full, they write another loan and charge you another $50 origination fee and $20 documentation fee. The title loan is not a loan paid back by monthly payments. The interest rate may be low, but the $70 in fees is not.
After reading several reviews I was very skeptical. After using Check into Cash my opinion has changed. I love them, they were very informative and worked with me.
Thanks Check into Cash!
I have a BAD REPORT about CHECK INTO CASH.COM... I received a letter, recently, stating the CHANGES in their Account Terms... BUT I DON'T AND HAVE NEVER had an account with them! But yet they had my name & mailing address correct in the letter. SO, i suspected someone else may have opened an account with them, using my name, SO I CALLED THEM TO INQUIRE about my "ACCOUNT"... And i was told that the ONLY way for them to look up my "ACCOUNT" was by my providing my FULL social security number! I told them i would be reporting them; as it appears to be a SCAM to me, for them to send these BOGUS letters out to people, just to obtain FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS from people... Most companies I have delt with in the past, are able to look up your ACCOUNT by either an ACCOUNT NUMBER, YOUR NAME, YOUR ADDRESS OR EVEN THE LAST 4 OF YOUR SOCIAL... And i think IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW FOR COMPANIES TO ASK FOR YOUR FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
My experience with check into cash, cash advance was okay, but it wasn't great either. It took more time than advertised, but the money did come. I just wish I would have read that cashandcheckadvances.org article beforehand.
I went to Check Into Cash to cash a money order that was made out to me. The signs posted on the wall said their fee would be 5% for a cashier's check and was the maximum fee allowed for all other type of checks cashed. After I cashed the money order, the manager, Nikki Barnes, took out 8% instead of 5% and handed me the difference.
I told her this was too much as the sign said 5% was the amount for cashier's checks and was the most for any type of checks cashed. She came over and looked at the sign and said it does not say specifically money orders so they can charge whatever they want to.
I told her this was a bait-and-switch and wanted my money order back and I would give her back the money. She refused to do this. I told her I was going to complain to the corporate office.
As I was leaving and walked outside, another employee came out the door and said they forgot to have me sign the back of the money order and asked me to do this. I refused as they had just ripped me off. Nikki came out and asked me to come back inside. I walked back in and she told me I had to sign the money order. Again I refused.
Nikki Barnes called her manager at Check Into Cash and her manager told her to give me my money order back if I would return the money she had just shorted me. I did this and walked out with my money order. Nikki just reversed the transaction after telling me she could not do this.
I took the money order to Wells Fargo and they cashed it for free with no hassle. I would advise everyone against cashing your checks at Check Into Cash as I am sure they are breaking the law by posting one fee and then charging a higher fee. They are violating the federal law of the Deceptive Trade Practice Act. A rip-off operation for sure!
