Was told was getting a refund back in April of 2020 and that we would have the money by our trip in August, they then sent out a message their system was changing. It changed in July, 2020 and it then reset our refund. So as of today still no refund. Was given two refunds at the resort on top of it by the same company said it would take no longer then 10 business to receive, still no refund. Have used this company many times and I think now I am done. As anyone can see below, we were suppose to get just on this one of three refunds 344.not including the other two. Not happy
We booked a trip to Aruba through this site. They advertised FREE BREAKFAST at hotel as promotion and failed to honor it. Despite me showing screenshots. They are useless. They then said it was based on availability—- then don't advertise something you can't offer! Total let down.

Cheap Caribbean picked an airport 4 hours from our destination in the Dominican Republic. Not being familiar, we didn't realize this until we booked it. When trying to call to change to the closest airport, we were charged a lot more money. Every other time we went in like we were booking a new trip it never did this. I explained there is no way we chose this other airport, but no one cared. Hold times are crazy, over an hour on the phone. You can tell they work at home you can hear dogs barking in the background. Even after asking for a supervisor there was no positive outcome. The resort was also rated 5 stars, but there is no way that is possible. Stick with Apple vacations or any other company, as Cheap Caribbean clearly tries to deceive and they do not care at all about the customer.

Just because Cheap Caribbean has the best deals doesn't mean they only got cheap resort yes the super super cheap ones probably are ghetto. But the one you pay for that are amazing resort are worth it... I notice that people on here probably don't buy travel insurance when they travel. Which is a clear indication that they are not very smart in general when it comes to spending money. Best experience ever. Amazing vacation to Cancun and Dominican Republic. I plan on making my trip to Jamaica soon :) thanks cheap Caribbean q
I have used Cheap Caribbean multiple times for our Caribbean travels. I do not book online, I always call and talk to a representative. All the rep's are very helpful and go out of their way to get you what you want.
I booked a trip yesterday with Carol, and she is a rock star. She has great customer service, and very passionate about her job.
I've used this site a few times... a cruise and an all inclusive resort to a different location. Fantastic deals I couldn't find anywhere else. Easy to compare prices and locations all in one spot. I would definitely recommend if you are planning a spring break trip or vacation.
I have to admit I ended up having no problems with this website. I booked airfare + hotel in Mexico and was able to enjoy both. There were moments of anxiety because it was a little difficult to receive a boarding pass. If I had nothing but my CC emails to off of, they wouldn; t have meant much. Thankfully, united airlines also sent me an email, with a confirmation code I could use to get my boarding pass. This was my first time using CC, but I would use it again.
I just want to leave here a positive experience that I had with CheapCaribbean. I had a devastating circumstance come up in my life and I needed to cancel a vacation that I had already paid for in full. My money was returned to me within 5 days. The rep was very empathetic. I had a wonderful experience with this cancellation; and I thought I would share, based on all the negative experiences I have seen posted about this company.

The site is ok, but it doesn't keep your preferences, like where you want to fly out from. How many nights you want to stay. When you search for a place to go and then click on a resort and back out, all your preferences are set back to the default and you need to start over. Very annoying.

Basicaly i purchased a vacation and two extras. The two extra were cancelled. I ask for refund and cheapcarribean says they see it non cancelled and therefore it is not refundable. For $#*! sake. They cancelled on me. Give me my money. Do not trust them they take your money and give you zero guarrantee... In my world it s called fraud.

Agent never followed thru with cancellation and then charged full trip price after in dispute with my credit card company. Sounds like common, bad business practice n I will file complaint with consumer services.

We purchased a package 6 months ago, with insurance. One of the six travelers can not make it due to circumstances out of their control and when we called to cancel just that person it's been a very bad experience. Multiple agents, multiple hang ups and were told only half of the money would be refunded. Fine, if that's all we get let's move forward. The bill actually went UP 1000! What is going on at this place? So far this has been a very bad experience with no way of rectifying the repeated failures of process and customer service. Multiple requests for supervisor help were ignored or we were hung up on. The abandonment rate with agents must be very high.

Due to the inclement weather at the destination (no running water, no power) we left the hotel early.
Hotel promised the full refund, Cheap Caribbean confirmed the same by email.
After that I have reached out to them a dozen+ times (email and phone calls) right now on hold it says the wait is more than 60 minutes...
I am not seeing any promised refund for almost 2 months, terrible customer service!
Will never use them.

We booked a vacation through them in 2020, which was cancelled. They initially gave us our full travel bank then later took away the flight credits. We have been trying to resolve for 6 months and they agree we are owed flight credit but never are able to resolve, always have to call us back, but never do. Wait times for customer service are always at least 1 hour, have been days.

Do not trust what is written on website they don't mention about restrictions. So if you are ready for pay more have fun. Also customer service is sucks. They can't solve problems. Yes you can reach someone for lose your time not for solution. Chat, calls, emails... we tried all but nothing worked and all our fault is trusted their website.

I book through this site and it was the worst choice ever. The hotel didn't have hot water the ceiling was leaking the food was bad. Not American friendly no one speaks English. The excursion where not up to my cleanliness level. The gave us used mouth pieces even though covid19 is still put here. I have a 400 dollars credit that I will not use because I will never use the company site again a totally waste of money

We booked a trip yo Jamaica for our honeymoon over 6 months ago. Now all of a sudden everything changed. They booked wrong flights. On wrong dates. From wrong locations and are now refusing to refund us the $3,500 that we have spent. I am an attorney and I am stating clearly that their actions are illegal and in violation of US laws. There will be lawsuits filed. STAY AWAY!

Don't ever go through Cheap Caribbean! We had to cancel a trip for December 2021 because of in unforeseen circumstances…but rescheduled for February 2022. We are only receiving less than half of our refund only if we schedule another trip by April 2022. I give them minus 10!

That was not our choice by the airlines. CC said it would take up to 90 days to get the refund and it is now March 2022. Still nothing. Online customer service is not helpful and directs you to call. Calling toll free number automatically disconnects you and has for the last several days. Used them so many times in the past for years and this is just awful. Will not be using them again.
