I had an 18 month intrest free purchase. I made a payment and they applied my payment to the intrest free instead of the the balance that has intrest. I called before I made the payment and was told wrong information. Other wise a good card with good cash back.
Every time my wife or I try to make a payment online for my credit card we get a hassle. When we ask for a code we get cut off. The number listed is a landline and they will not let me change it. I have to make a special trip to the bank to pay my card. The people are rude, and especially rude to my wife. Service is poor and the individuals we have to deal with on the phone are stupid.
Chase rewards is absolutely the most pathetic program in the world! Their points are worthless. I show up to a hotel i booked with chase and the hotel didnt even know about the reservation. Now i wanted to book a flight and chase says they need 3 days notice to book online and at least 1-2 days notice to book over the phone. My points are worthless! I hate chase! So greedy! Its 2022! Anyone can book a flight in 30 seconds! But chase needs 3 days? What type of policy is this? Its absurd! A bunch of theives that dont let me use my points how i want to!
Chase sucks $#*!, I filed a claim and they reversed it because they don't believe me. My wallet was stolen with my bag my Keys etc. 4 different transactions without me in 3 different places. Now I have to show proof to them it wasn't me? The $#*!? How am I at a different bar with no ID no card no car keys etc. weak $#*! bank they don't help their customers. I just paid for someone else to steal my stuff and get free drinks and had to order new keys new cards new iD new everything. Well the people that stole my stuff get free $#*! because chase is wac. They want me to call the places and get video proof of me not using these transaction over 30 days ago. Smh stupid bank
Let me tell you about Chase Bank. I called them today, told them about a 4600$ check that was stolen from me. Told them it was in their ATM, in their branch and the guy informed me there was nothing they would do about it. No matter that the check has been forged, that it's made out to a company, that the account it's going into has no ties to the company the check is written to, Chase bank is willing to cash it. This tells me that anybody can steal a check from whomever, no matter the size of it, no matter if it's forged, no matter if the name on it, put it in a Chase bank ATM and in 3 days or less, you're acct will have that money. He says to me, 'ma'am I know you're upset, but we didn't steal your check' I replied, 'No, but you're sure willing to cash it.' Chase bank the place to take your stolen checks. They didn't steal them, but they sure will cash them.
$84,500,000,000 Exits JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citigroup in Three Months As Depositors Take Flight
Three of America's biggest banks just watched $84.5 billion worth of deposits disappear in a single quarter. Chase Bank is a terrible bank!
JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citi all recorded an outflow of deposits in Q3, according to each bank's most recent reports.
JPMorgan Chase's new Q3 earnings report details a $31 billion decrease in deposits from $2.387 trillion to $2.356 trillion. Wells Fargo reported a $7.1 billion decrease from $1.3474 trillion to $1.3403 trillion, while Citi recorded a $46.4 billion drop from $1.3199 trillion to $1.2735 trillion.
Chase seems provides a good online banking exprience as long as you don't need to talk anyone to resolve an issue. Customer phone support let you have the the urge to close your account and move money to another bank. Holding an hour before anyone answer the phone. A faklingly polite person wants to help but they are really do no $#*! as they are not hired to resovle problems.
After 10 plus years of having the acount with them because i have other accounts I bearly used it about a month ago they closed it with no notice taking the money that was in the account and not giving it back after trying numerous times to call them back. I finally got a call whent up to the place and they told us there was nothing they could do. They really suck. Don't bank with them ever because they don't care about you whatsoever.
If you are with this bank BE VERY CAREFUL and tell others. Use bank of america or frost. Read the fine print they give you per your account. It wont hurt you to leave and switch banks. Take my advice when i say(type)withdraw your money and go to another bank asap. Protect yourself NOW. Dont wait. Chase is outsourcing (india) a country that already participates heavily in U.S. phone scams- they scammed me-almost got me concerning our lifes savings-TAKE HEED & LEAVE-PLEASE & warn others. #$tay$afe
Came in to withdraw 250 from their ATM inside the lobby next to the tellers. After retrieving money which came mostly in 20's I went to the teller to request a 4 fifty dollar Bill's. Teller wouldn't do it without seeing my I'd and debit card. He saw me retrieve the money from the atm. Couldn't understand why he requested my debit card.
On July 14th of last years I was assaulted by a park and 10 of my CC's were stolen. All banks have me accreditations except for the Chase and Freedom CC's. Chase gave me accreditation on my Chase debit card, but refuses to accredit me on my CC's? I've been in contact with them ever since and supposedly by the 4th of March again they will let me know if they will accredit the CC's. I will take them to court if I have to. They can't have it both ways? Accredit the debit card permanently on 10/18/2021 and tell me that I'm responsible in the credit cards, yet 2 of the debit card accreditations on the fraudulent charges accredited? The same company as shown on the debit? Are also shown on the Freedom and Amazon charges, regardless they are playing possum with me. I've been trying since last July if 2021 and all they can tell me is that I made those CC charges, yet they accredited me on my debit card for the fraudulent charges that were also made by the CC's on the same days? Im very upset.
I have a Chaser checking/savings account. With direct deposit from my employer and a generous amount of cash flow monthly. I made a mobile deposit with a automated check (mailed from Navy Federal Credit Union), and instead of holding the funds like a normal deposit. They decided to freeze my account and all monies that were already deposited. I had no access to my existing funds. No notification either. I contacted Chase, and they forwarded me to the fraud department. Why wouldn't they simply place the deposit as pending? Instead they tell me that if my deposit doesn't clear in 7-10 days that my account could be closed and sky funds remaining would be mailed to me. Their customer service wasn't helpful and i was on hold for an hour on multiple occasions.
*** DO NOT TRUST CHASE WITH YOUR BANKING **
This bank will put a hold on your checks deposited for no reason what so ever. And not just for a day or 2. I was told my money would deposit in 2 days, and on that day I was told it wouldn't deposit for another 7 days. When I asked what they hold was on there for they had NO GOOD REASON! Talking to a manager named Mark, did absolutely nothing but help me decide to close my account. He refused to give me corporates number and said he would transfer me to his supervisor and then placed me on hold for OVER 40 MINUTES! I'll be glad when this bank goes bankrupt like the many others before it! Also, I'm not able to upload the additional hold on my deposit as the site will not allow me to screen shot that information #GO figure
I waited a year to receive a bond check from a city where I re-built a house. I deposited that check into my personal checking a count, signed cost in my company name, second with my personal name. The bank tells me they had to withdraw it & overnight the check back to me to be re-deposited into my business account. I can sign a check and legally sign that check over to anyone, to I asked what? That is crazy! I deposited it AT night, and it is now Weds, overnighted? The money originally came from my personal checking account to put on that house, how can Chase dictates where my money gets deposited? Meanwhile, bills are electronically pulled, while I wait for the check in snail mail. No phone call to cutomer, would not re-deposit over the phone, but banks will take deposits with a picture of a check, although this check is in their hands. Absolutely makes no sense.
I went to Chase Bank in Bay Shore, NY to open an account. When I ask who do I speak to about opening an account, they told me that I needed to have an appointment and they weren't able to help me. Really? From there I went to the Chase bank in West Islip NY and it was completely empty, so I again went to one of the three tellers doing nothing and asked to open an account. Again she asked if I had an appointment and they could not help me without an appointment. This surprised me because the bank was completely empty, she told me to go to a Chase bank in Babylon. That's when I realized they are not where I want to put my money! This bank is paying tellers to do nothing and yet they can't open a simply account? I guess Chase will be the next bank going out of business because they definitely do not want new business!
Is there a minus rating? As i sit here writing this i have been on hold for 1 hour and 26 minutes to try to get my recent cash deposit released from the hostage situation i amin. A renter who owed many mant months of back rent finally got rent releif from covid and the STATE sent her a check which she promptly signed over to me and i deposited it. Big mistake. They froze all my accounts. I cant get a nickle out until it clears, and why? Because they think it may be fraud. These people are the most unhelpful and ignorant people i have ever dealt with. As soon as it clears im taking every penny out and screw them
I have to call Chase support weekly for one problem or another. I have been a long time 25 years, with Chase. I also have 30 other accounts from various business also with Chase. The problems vary' today it is Zelle. Chase will not interact with PNC Bank. Chase has a habit of passing the buck. On ave4rage I get on the phone and get transferred 5 times. Repeat my story each time and ultimately almost always the same outcome. "The problem is not with Chase" but it is and I have to prove it each time by getting the other party on a conference call with Chase. I waste an average of 4 hours each time. This is the worst customer service and although an huge task and a major disruption of my business I will have to leave if the don't fix this. This all started about 4 years ago probably with offshoring.
I had recently opened a checking account with Chase through a promotion they had sent me in the mail. The bank I was using (for over twenty years) was bought out and I was dissatisfied with the level of service and charges since the new bank Bank Plus bought them. I accepted the offer to open a checking account with Chase and set up a direct deposit. All was good until I did a mobile deposit. The deposit was made on Thursday 17th and I'm finding out that they will not credit my account with the funds until the 26th. That is nine days! I checked and the check I deposited cleared the funds to Chase the next day on Friday 18th. I would not recommend Chase for a checking account especially if you need your money sooner. I will be withdrawing all funds from account and closing it.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. They have given me the run around for the past 4 months on changing my due date. Stories and rules change each month... DO NOT EVER USE CHASE!
Chase assesses excessive, superfluous, and punitive fees/charges to customers under guise of obscure policies. This practice is PREDATORY AND BIAS, as only the "little guy" is held to endure these thefts. Example: I was charged $5 to access MY OWN MONIES. First, $2.50 was charged for use of "non-Chase" ATM, then an additional $2.50 was charged for checking my own account balance during THE VERY SAME TRANSACTION. I guess the $ Trillions $ they make in profits already isn't enough to satiate their greed!
Answer: Offered as a finance for auto loan... I am seriously thinking of changing banks..
Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
Chase has a rating of 1.4 stars from 504 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Chase most frequently mention customer service, credit card and bank account. Chase ranks 293rd among Banking sites.
