I ordering a build from them back in June the person done my pad srew it up to low on one in so I told Mr car port about this on a Friday and the Monday they come with the to put it up so they said it was five inch's low at the back so they said the could not put it up so I payed 650.00 to o them to take the building back to N C will little later I found out the pad was on the land next to me so I call then and told them the situation that I had to tear my pad up that I wonted my deposit back of 2,500.00 and my half of the building I paid for 5,672.00 the said they could not pay me the deposit are Back and my 5,672.00 so they stew me out of 8,00.00 plus 650.00 to send the building back they are bunch of scam so please don't truss there's SOB because they stew me out of 9,000.00

The entire experience has been horrible. It took over 7 months and me having to change the colors to have it built. They claim the bottom trim is not included after it was built, even though the sales rep and I had a lengthy conversation about it before i paid the deposit. A door hung over in inch off and a window that dont open. Gaps in the roof that will allow the wind under to rip it off. Run the other way.

Well now it is May 28th, 2023 and still no one has come back to fix their stupid mistakes. It's been 8 mo since garage was completed in the dark (midnight). Not a peep from anyone about when this will get fixed. My guess is never. I can't stress enough how important it is to not give them all their money until your completely satisfied. Not one phone call from Carport Central or Coast to Coast to set up repairs. DO NOT USE THEM

Spent two months trying to get Carport Central to provide plans my county would accept for permit. Never did. Spent another month trying to get my deposit back (over $1,000.). Does not return calls, I'm currently pursuing legal channels to try to reclaim my deposit. Avoid this company, and Central Steel (sister companies) at all costs!

Contacted carport central and asked if they could build a residence like they advertise. We were picked one of there buildings and they said no problem. We sent them close to $17,000 dollars to get our engineered plans which we received. Took them to our county and they said this is not a residence it's nothing more than a garage with 2 ft. Thick walls and windows not to fire code. They said nothing can attach to there walls or building could collapse. We Contacted carport central and we have got nothing but a run around they are blaming coast to coast who they had engineer the plans. All I want is my money back because they can't engineer a residence with interior walls attached to there building or a building without 2 ft. Thick walls.

This Company is terrible they took my deposit quit answering phone calls and won't give back my deposit or put up the building. I was promised 8 to 10 weeks to install Been 10 months and nothing. Read the reviews on the bbb web sight. Find someone else that won't lie to you like they do!

So far I have one roll up door that they installed incorrectly that is junk. Lasted 3 years. This company is still a joke. I'm still fighting problems with the building 3 years later. It is all based on how they built it. I now find spots they spray painted to hide. 3 years later the spray paint is fading. They also put all the flashing on wrong. It causes rain to run into the building. They never installed the header seals from the contract and they were the ones that made the contract

I ordered my building on March 25th and called several times but couldn't get them to answer. I finally got through to them in May and was told that they didnt know when they would be able to start. They finally called me last week and said they would be here this week. Not only was I charged more than $400 more than what my contract stated, when the contracted builders showed up 2 days late they didn't have reliable equipment to do the job. My wife had to jump their truck off the first day and I got a call at 7:30 am stating that they needed another jump at their hotel 20 minutes from my house and of course another jump off to allow them to leave. The hole cut for the door knobs are too big and show light around the knob. They left a large pile of trash sitting in my yard. I do not suggest doing business with this company.

Carport Central could not give me a definitive date of when they were going to install my building. I told them I had a local contractor that installed the buildings and then it would be a benefit to them 2 contact them it. Would save them motel expenses drive time delivery time gasoline except? They gave me a story about this company to this company. In these people in the in the bottom line they said they use independent contractors and I told them. Why can't you use an indep and the contractor locally? I gave them a phone number. I called green sky if you're having a problem call green sky. It's one of the financiers tell them the problems looked at better bitter business bureau. I should have looked before I dealt with these people.

Okay, my husband and I started the barn process in Aug 2019, and here I sit still with no barn in December of 2019. This isnt any spectacular barn with lots of rooms, for heavens sake it doesnt even have a floor. Just a simple frame with 3 doors... 1 in the front and 2 on the sides. The original plans had the doors in the wrong spot on the sides. I was told from the beginning that isnt an issue at all. Guess what, it is. The manufacture said they wont build the barn because the plans are wrong. I live in Nevada and the company they got to build isnt even certified to build here. WHY! I have to keep badgering everyone to get them to do anything with this barn. I have already paid for my permits which of course are going to go to waste since i will probably never get the barn. All i keep here from Chris B. Is "ma'am, Im doing all i can"... This unfortunatly isnt even all that i have had to deal with. Just the newest development. I would rather have paid 40,000$ then deal with this.

Ordered the second week of July, told them we absolutely need these two buildings no later than EARLY October. They stated at that time that would be no problem as the delivery date was only 6 to 8 weeks. The install company started jerking us around the third week of September. FOUR NO SHOWS LATER it is now the first week of November with yet ANOTHER excuse and ANOTHER week delay! Not only that but when I called and raised cane about it they had the gall to start laughing and yelling AT ME! They took over a thousand dollar down payment already. They have claimed to be in NY state FOUR TIMES now and went back to North Carolina every time. I say BS! They have never been in this state for ANY install, this company and their "suppliers" are a scam. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THIS SCAMMY SCUMMY COMPANY! We now have a damaged camper due to these unprofessional scam artists.

Our family has purchased several buildings from Carport Central and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Michael Bond is super responsive, smart and quick. We love Carport Central.

STAY AWAY, THEY TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT AND THEN SELL YOUR CONTRACT TO ANOTHER COMPANY. MY CONTRACT CHANGED A LOT AND I DIDN'T REALIZE TIL AFTER. NEW COMPANY ADDED A BUNCH OF ADDITIONAL COSTS. CARPORT CENTRAL TAKES YOUR DEPOSIT THEN IGNORES CALLS OR HANGS UP ON YOU! STAY AWAY! TOMMY WILLIAMS SALES REP

We have used Carport Central for multiple builds, and so has my family! We have never had the first issue, always on time and well done! We love Carport Central!

When I started this project, they were great the supervisor even put in a 5% discount in order to keep it within the amount I can afford and sent me the Purchase Order/Invoice. I approved it gave them the numbers for payment, after that the whole game changed. After reaching out to them for multiple days I got a response.
" I'm sorry I didn't respond to your email. I was out of the office and I just got back today. So I have some bad news, the price book that I used to price your metal structure was the old price book. I didn't receive the new price book with the correct pricing until I submitted the order and it was getting checked. The prices changed due to the price of steel increasing. Your new total for the building came out to be

$9,135.00 plus your local state tax. With the 5% discount that we are still offering you brings it down to $8,678.25

Let me point out the original price was $7476. 27, and his supervisor approve the discount! That's two people checking over the Invoice. I replied to their email asking them to stand behind their original agreement but to no avail.
I call this "Bait and Switch" Business. I think they are a dishonorable business.

They took a $1290 deposit with the promise of a 6 week delivery on 3/01/21. Six months later, still no carport.
They have stopped answering E-mails and phone calls.
