I see a lot of negative reviews of this company, but although i had to wait a little longer than expected, the quality of the paint is good, and comes with a lacquer touch up top coat, and a guide.the company emailed and made an apology and a note to say they had been on holiday and there was a bit of a back-log, so hey ho they may have delivery issues but i think it was worth the wait considering the amount you get in those crappy touch up pens from halfords. Maybe a little more communication from the company would go a long way. Hence my 4 star score.
Now this is odd. My friends and I have used this vendor a number of times, and have received perfect matching paint by return. No doubt they have screwed up in the past (The first complaints I noticed were dated 2004!) and I'm sure that a number of the complaints are genuine, but I do wonder if their competitor are (sorry about the pun) stirring things...
Placed an order on 28/5/15 with Carpaintrepairs for a touch up kit for a Citroen C4 providing just the registration number. Then read all the bad reviews. However to be fair, "lo and behold" I have today (5/6/15) received the kit with the correct colour.

I ordered on Tuesday 27th April 2010 using both my car registration and colour code.
I emailed them on Wednesday looking for a delivery date but my emails were returned as undelivered. Starting to get worried.
Thursday, I called the number on the site which had lines open from 9.30am to 4.30pm - no answer. Getting very worried now.
Friday, googled carpaintrepair.co.uk and go into panic mode reading all the bad reviews.
Friday 30th April afternoon, delivery arrives! Not special or recorded but delivered none the less. Colour matches perfectly.
Spot on job. Very happy customer.
My experience is pretty much the same I had to return product for a refund, I have sent messages, telephoned all with no response. I have had no refund as yet and quite frankly given other peoples experiences do not expect to get it. Would not recommend this business. PS in Norfolk

Similar experience. Ordered paint had reply email. After a week even though I supplied paint type, they then needed reg and make. I have provided these a number of times. Now resorted to phone calls and still no response.
Absolutely appalling. Ordered paint, money taken and promised on 2 occasions paint would be sent by special delivery. Never arrived but did get my money back. On checking site I see it has been taken down?
Ordered paint on 31/03/11 and I still have not received goods. I have telephoned and emailed to no avail. I am contacting WHICH magazine lawers to see what my rights are. Judging by the comments here, this company appears to be a scam.
I feel really unlucky to have chosen this website out of the many present on internet. It's been 3 weeks now since I paid and still nothing, can't get through to anyone by phone and e-mails don't get responded to! I doubt if they even have paint to sell!

Ordered a touch up repair kit 0n 8 October 2010 with an advertised 24 hour delivery. Nothing arrived and despite numerous e-mails they were never answered. On 22 October sent another e-mail this time he answered say he had a computer glitch and the goods were being prepared for delivery within 3/4 days. I had to accept that as it was better than losing the money as I envisaged. Today 2 November I received an e-mail off World pay stating they had immediately refunded my money in full. Don't bother with this company spend a few more bob and go to car dealership hassle free.
I wish I'd found this site earlier. Waiting 9 days now, having paid extra money for the 24 hour delivery. Phone has pre-recorded message saying go to web-site and chat. Their is no chat. An e-mail gets an automatic reply saying the same. If I point my car towards Scotland the company will definitely know I've arrived. My bank says they will work for me[paid by debit card] and they wished I'd paid by Credit card, they said it was less complicated. Going to the Police on Monday, this is fraud, postal money, VAT, RBS WorldPlay have all card details and will do absolutely nothing, what a disgusting state this country is in, and this particular company is using this knowledge to full advantage, they know they have a good chance of getting away with it. They will not.
Carpaintrepair.co.uk are clearly operating a low level scam/fraud and get away with it as the sums involved are individually very small but large enough in total to fund Florida holidays on a regular basis - they must be laughing their way to the bank off the back of the hundreds of customers they have scammed. Now and again they seem to fulfil an order correctly just to confuse the issue. Without going into detail, having chased them they asked for a colour code and then sent me some red paint for my black car.
6weeks of waiting and no paint- took my money quickly enough but no reply to emails or phone calls- am pursuing thru credit card and will be calling trading standards and every classic car club I know
I ordered paint on 12th February 2014. No paint despite 'must have got lost in the post, we will send another' twice. Now sold the car using local shop paint costing £4.95.
Reported by phone and email to Trading Standards and eventually emailed that it had to be referred to Citizens Advice Bureau. 6 weeks later no response from anyone.
AVOID! They are there to rip you off. Cannot the Trading Standards stop this man, there are there to help the public in situations like this.
4 week now waiting on the touch up paint. Called everyday and no one answers the phone. Emailed and got a responce to ask for the REG or VIN number. This email came from *******@carpaintrepair.co.uk to say i will refund you. Im still waiting and have sent lots of replies to evelyn but still nothing. I wish i checked the reviews before i ordered. These people are just crooks. Plain and simple. Do not order anything from these people

Interesting enough the property is currently occupied by Lothian Bodyshop, who do exactly the same thing!

This company can't be trusted! I placed my order 15 Mar '14 and they took my money. I had my order confirmed by email on 17th Mar and was told "Delivery should take no more than a couple of days but please allow at least 5 working days for delivery". I waited a week, nothing arrived. I've tried emailing and phoning them and cannot get anyone to reply. Judging by other peoples reviews and experience of this outfit (which I was gullible enough not to read) they should be taken out of business by the Scottish Trading Standards who I am about to inform. Just don't buy from them!

Fair's, fair as they say! Following my former review of Car Paint Repair I have today received a refund of my money but I make no apology for my single star rating of them simply because of their abysmal communication with (what is) every company's source of income - their customers!
I ordered paint for my wifes car and the wrong colour arrived. I then phoned on several occasions to get the the same message, to send an email which I have done now three times over ten days, without any reply. So much for their twenty four hour promise. I have now gone back to my credit card company to try and reclaim my payment.
