I purchased their extended warranty in 4/19. Paid 170.00 per month never used it until 5/20 just to tell a reputable car dealership that their not paying for anything. With no reason why, called and called and still haven't spoke to anyone yet. Rented a car because it's in the warranty as reimbursement. Ended up paying out of pocket at the dealership and for car rental. Someone needs to contact me asap. I want a refund. If your thinking about this company don't do it. Those commercial are bogus and full of crap.
So I bought a warranty with this company without doing my research, and had nothing but the worst experience. They deny your claim and refuse to refund you for unused warranty. Their salesperson and employees working for them are complete liars and never seem to be happy when talking to customers. This company should not stay in business.
Horrible! I put in a claim and never heard anything back. Was put on hold for more than 2 hours each time just check status of a claim. I spoke to two managers at 2 different shops and they both said Carchex is one of the worst. I am still on hold 3 days later trying to cancel. I think the Pat Goss hold music is meant to make you hang up as it repeats the same thing over and over again!
This company is horrible. Paid over $3000 for my warranty, however every time I needed their help, I was told the part was not covered. Even told me that I purchased a out of date warranty when I pointed out what was covered on my silver plan. Horrible horrribe and true liars...$tau away from this warranty are you will be sorry you wasted all you money... Horrible
I thought i was buying a plan that covered the essential to a car running and find out that i did not. Talk to a manager who pretty told me i did not know nothing about my car or any other car. He told me that i am not a mechanic and i did not put my car on lift to find the problem. My call was base off of why one thing was covered and other things surrounding that component was not. I did not and still do not understand that. In this back and forth he then tells me all i have is Deluxe package. I did not know there was know that there was two additional package above the deluxe. After i hung up and tried to call back to cancel and get my money back, no one answer the phone except one guy who claim he could not help. I am furious and feel like i have wasted money on a scam
Carchex denied my claim for replacment of faulty fuel injector,told me that because DIRT fouled it.
My mechanic told them that injector was clogged and could not be cleaned out and NEVER said the word dirt,I told Carchex that and said it seemed to me that whoever handeled the claim used the word dirt which voided my claim.
Asked that knowing calls are recorded to please listen to conversation between my mechanic and their guy and to also send me a copy.
The people were very rude and tried their best to railroad me so I let my credit card company know this and yanked the five $99.99 charges that I paid them and was told by them that their legal team will call me every day to collect the yanked charges,I said, " bring it on"
Never will I buy this type of hyped up warranty that is designed to line the pockets of these so called companys

If you chanced upon this company while searching for a job, my only advice is don't waste your time and stay away. This company provides poor benefits to employees, and the salary is laughable too. Also, most of the people they hire are inexperienced. I'm fine with people new to the industry since we all started from there, but for some reason, the company likes hiring people who are just clueless. This makes the tasks more daunting to the other employees, despite not being compensated enough.
Work here if you want to be overworked and underpaid. The company doesn't give enough compensation compared to the amount of work you have to put in. Also, management will say that they give bonuses, but most co-workers I know who are excellent never got any bonus. Prepare to lose your work-life balance here.
Pros: They will persuade you that they are the best and you are in good hands.
Cons: This company is a total scam. I purchased an extended warranty six moths ago, and when my car experience problem and brought it to the service center, however, Carchex denied my claim. They've even sent an inspector to verify the legitimacy of the problem and said they would not pay for anything because the problem is due to factory defect, but the dealer denied it. I lost a lot of money in this company. You have been warned, just stay away!
I purchased extended warranty through Carchex. Come to find out they are crooks. My trucks check engine light came on and I took it to the dealer. The dealer said turbo was bad and need a new one. I called my warranty company Carchex and what an experience. The truck sat in the shop for three weeks waiting on an adjuster to come out to verify the turbo was bad. 3 different adjustes came to look and all said different things. Long story short Carchex did not pay or fix anything. I lost so much money and time. If I just paid out of pocket I could have been back on the road the next day. Now 3 weeks has gone and missed several days of work. Had to pay for rental car. I am so pissed off and frustrated with Carchex. Please be careful with this company. They will Robb you. Shame on Carchex. Taking hard working individuals money. May GOD have mercy on you people.
I went online and ask for quote on extended warranty. They called quickly the first price was about $4800 and you seem to always get transferred to a manager. This manager was extremely pushy so basically I hung up. They kept calling. After about the fifth call I told them what I would pay period, again put me to a manager, remember this is fifth call from them. He says he will take my offer to the CEO, comes back three minutes later and said he got it for me@ $3000. Just to note this vehicle has a branded title. Bottom line they wasted lots of my time, I got the price I wanted, to much effort expended. On all five calls told them the same thing. Bottom line get ready for high pressure sales, but remember you can always get a lower price if you are willing to waste some time.
I simply did a search of the most reliable auto warranties since my current warranty is about to expire. I found, after speaking with reps from three companies, that CarChex offered the best coverage at the last expensive cost. The rep I spoke with, Sara Newton, was very informative, polite, helpful, and professional. The choice was easy after three days of getting quotes.
If the duration of my coverage is as good as the process to obtain coverage, I believe that I will be more than pleased.
Bob Rush was the salesman on my call. Great customer service. I signed up based on the reviews I read. I have not had to use the product and hope it remains that way but I've think I have purchased some solid peace of mind.
Customer service has been very professional and courteous, they have answered my questions. Most important I wasn't placed on hold for a long period of time, in which I have found with other companies.
The agent I spoke to was Philo Gentles,hope I spelled his name right. He answered all questions in regards to giving me the best price on an extended warranty that I could easily afford. Still waiting on my packet,tho it should be here soon. Thanks again!

Please accept my gratitude towards them for their speedy and efficient services. I was able to complete the transaction within seconds thanks to their attentive and alert presence. Dan as very accommodating to my schedule. We spoke on several occasions until I had time to decide on which plan. I have been happy with Carchex for the past 102K miles and will be a customer as long as they extend the mileage limits. He went beyond any expectations I had of making sure I had exactly what I needed. I have not had to use the policy but I feel confident that I am covered if a problem every occurs.
Easy to work with and reviews of company were excellent------------$50 a month seemed a good deal for a 5 year ******* mile policy; with care repairs so costly especially with higher end cost vehicles, even a physician,as myself, appreciates piece of mind The reviews of the company in deciding which company to look at were excellent with great testimonials

Answer: Guaranteed there are many companies who Are less expensive. This company just takes your money. Once you pay 80 -90 percent. They become arrogant and don't care if you get upset and quit... They got a brunch of free money from you...
Answer: Not hard to reach the company. But hard to get them to honour the contract...
Answer: They will tell you the item is not covered, even if you see it on the contract...
