Bought a complete system and they shipped it with the shipping company they use and chose. When units arrived I cut away plastic but the thick cardboard protectors on the corners was hiding major corner crease and a missing filter cover, I did see some ripples in the cabinet but didn't realize it had been mishandled somewhere along its trip. I contacted Budget, Lavina, and gave her all the details only to be told she was sorry and it is basically not their problem, its between me and the shipping company. Keep in mind they hired the shipping company, I didn't choose them but now its my problem, we all know the shipping company is going to tell me to go jump in the lake or too bad... but please don't make the mistake I've made to trust this is a company that does the right thing because they will not. I ask to speak with the general manager and he pretty much told me good luck and its not their problem, he then tried to get me to cancel my PayPal case and he would send me some missing screws and i shouldn't worry about the damage because it was cosmetic. If someone backs into your car fender and cruses it it, its cosmetic but that don't mean they shouldn't be responsible for having it repaired. Be warned, they have no integrity and no ethics, so if you are one of the lucky ones that their 3 rate shippers don't crush you equipment you should thank your lucky stars.
The order process was easy to follow and the delivery time was as expected.
There was absolutely no dings dents or scratches it came in excellent condition and worked great. Delivery driver was nice and cordial and everything went just fine!

It was my technician that found the necessary part on this site, so I purchased it here. He wasn't happy with the price, but it was cheaper than replacing the entire unit for me. That extra 20% surcharge for expedited shipping seems excessive. Also, that I had to pay for taxes outside of the payment plan made through Affirm was also suspect. Since I had to follow up on why the unit hadn't yet been shipped and was given that reason, I feel it caused an unnecessary delay. It was a heating unit and I had to endure a week of weather in the 40s without it. Finally, there was a disconnect between the shipping time frame given to me by the person at Budget. Thankfully, I received the item a day after speaking with them and not the later date. I had hoped since we were all in Florida, this would have been a more streamlined process. I do wonder if the very similar looking part I saw on Amazon, for less, would have arrived faster. Especially because the tech realized this was a bit different than what he expected. I am grateful that he was able to make it work. In summary, I am grateful overall, but wish this had been a smoother process.

You should tell customers that there is a credit card verification process on the website or in the instructions email. It delayed our order being shipped out because I purchased it while away from home working.
Sales rep Mike was doing his best. He had me calling every couple days mad about wrong address, out of stock, and missed stock counted equipment. I ended up spending nearly 8 hrs on hold or in calls to end up cancelling the whole order.

Product was as advertised. Arrived in a decent amount of time. Would prefer more shipping options. Order process was a bit clunky. Had to refresh page at one point. Luckily I was not charged twice. Will use again.
Answer: Hi Larry, To register, go to the Manufacturers website and find their warranty section. Once you get to that page, there will be a registration section and it will ask for your model and serial number information from each piece of equipment so be sure you have that handy. We are sincerely sorry to hear that your unit was damaged in transit and feel that we have corrected the issues with you since this review was posted. All orders are independently inspected by 3 different personnel including a member of management prior to being packaged for shipment. The shipping company that shipped your order is a 3rd party and not affiliated with Budget Heating, and you have full rights to make a claim directly with the trucking company. However since the damage was not notated at time of delivery we are unable to file a claim for you.
However we did ultimately did provide you with all the information you would need to file a claim direct with the carrier including a pre-filled claim form to do so. Ultimately we have refunded you money for customer satisfaction and reimbursed you for the missing pieces that you purchased elsewhere.
We are sorry again that you experienced damage, however we are confident we have done everything within our power to make it right.
