I purchased a very expensive designer gown that needed alterations and shortening.
To my surprise when I went to pick up the dress, the extra fabric was missing and was not returned to me as of today, despite my request for the extra fabric to be sent back to me.
I am very disappointed in the service.
It is taking me 3 weeks from their receipt of my returned merchandise to get a credit to my credit card. This is ridiculous and I think that they are using my money for their own cash flow purposes. Shame on you BG. Issue me my refund on a timely basis!
Always had great experience visiting this store. Nice and fancy store. The sale staff is so helpful and cooperative. All the best brands can be found here.

I bought a handbag from(bergdorfgoodman.com) it was time i finally got something more adult than a plastic zip lock bag for holding toiletries while traveling, this was affordable and bigger than expected, plenty of room for everything yet small enough it doesn't take up much space.
Bergdorf Goodman was prompt with their delivery of the wrong item. Unfortunately the item ran out of stock and all I could get from them was an "I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do." I had to go through the laborious process of dealing with the return. Buyer beware
My first online purchase from BG will be my last.
I returned some items and it supposedly takes about 3 weeks.
Within those 3 weeks, customer service is unable to track the package using the smart label they actually provided!
So if you have a large return, you just have to sit there and hope they recieved it.
Like others I placed an order twice and had them confirm my order and say it's on the way then cancel it a week later without explanation when I can see I have money and the money was taken out of account twice. Still waiting on refund a week later and they charged me a 3rd time for the order. Awful customer service, in incompetent staff and managed. Bough $800 shoes and would never buy anything off them again!
My package stuck in Fedex facility for a few days, I contacted BG, they said they are going to send me a replacement, asked me to wait for confirmation email, which never came. So I asked for a few times, the recent customer service person said she did some research and CANCEL my claim. I still haven't got my product which I paid for, or any replacement or any refund, and my claim was cancelled. I can't believe it. Speechless.

I ordered a dress online and sent it to a tax free zip code. As I was mistakenly charged tax I emailed and asked them to refund the tax. They asked me to FAX the tax exempt form so they could do this. After explaining I do not own a fax machine anymore as this is 2020 not 1990, they kept emailing back the same instructions: there is no email for that department and I need to fax the form! No wonder these US department stores are dying off, they refuse to modernise, listen to their customers or do the right thing. They could have easily looked up the web link I emailed confirming the tax free status but no, they would prefer to keep repeating the same antiquated instructions and lose another customer!
I tried to buy 3 - $500 gift cards and the first was approved but the next two were not approved because it appeared to be a "duplicate transaction". I received an email from Bergdorf informing me of this with a phone number to call for questions. When you call the number you are told I'm sorry a 3rd party manages our gift cards. I asked if I could call, email, or do an online inquiry only to be told they don't have any contact information for the 3rd party. I elevated to 3 different people and one gave me a new phone number to call the credit department who handles the gift cards. The man who answered then proceeded to tell me the same, a 3rd party handles those and they have no contact info. Just trying to spend $1500 with them and they have put up every barrier possible! No wonder department stores are failing!
I brought a 500$ la mer concentrate. It caused me allergy problems. So I called the customer service and returned the product. But I got an email told me it's not refundable. I used this product from another story, I loved it. They must sell not trusted product.
I love it. It fits great. It's just as bright as the pictures depicted, which is wonderful because I ride mass transit and work second shift. And the price was right. I'm recommending it to all my friends and family.
I ordered two Eiffel Tower Christmas ornaments as gifts; one for my son and another for my niece. When the package arrived after opening the outer packaging box I saw only one Bergdorf Goodman silver box. I thought they only sent me one ornament. However, they stuffed two fragile ornaments in one box. These were expensive ornaments to be given as gifts! The hanger part on one of the ornaments was all crooked. I called Bergdorf Goodman and requested another box and was told someone would be in touch with me. After waiting a few days I called again and explained the situation. I was out in a brief hold which was over 25 minutes. I was then told they could not ship me another box, but they could give me a discount. I asked to please speak with a manager and I was told no they would not talk to me. I asked if they had a box shortage because then this would make sense. I was told no, but if I ordered the ornaments in 2 separate orders each one would have their own box. ( The packing box had plenty of room for another box.) Branding should be at the top of Bergdorf Goodman's marketing! These ornaments are for 2 young adults and now one will be opening there's in bubble wrap. They could have had customers that every year when they took out their Christmas ornaments of the Eiffel Tower they would see the silver box with the words Bergdorf Goodman. They couldn't even take the time to speak to me on the phone. I was told I would get a credit and they would send an email. The email never came so I called again. So three times of calling, no compensation, and no box!
Wrong items were shipped to me. Instead of feeling sorry and shipping the right items to me right away, I was told they have to get back the wrong items before they can ship me the right items. Gee, I was shocked. You won't expect such a bad customer service from a high end retailer. This is worse than Walmart. I think Walmart will ship you the right items right away when they give you like 30 days to ship back the wrong items. So when I first reported the issue though chatting, I though maybe the representative was working from India and didn't understand the company policy of the Bergdorf Goodman. So I called by phone but received the same answer! Very disappointed indeed. Some other high end retailers will definitely ship you the right items right away and probably will let you keep the wrong items as a way of saying "sorry" and saving you the trouble of shipping the item back so you won't be punished for their mistake.

I´m from Italy and ordered something from ramy brook, cause it´´s impossible to get things of this designer in italy... they said that are delivering between 9 and 7 bussines days and it was there at day 9. Perfect condition. More beautiful that on the Foto. Sorry my english is very bad (italian girl;-))
Well, after four different customer service agents assured me over the course of the last week that my wedding dress would be shipped and arrive on time for my scaled back, covid wedding, it indeed will not. As I suspected, it's not a covid delay, it's not because it's being shipped from a store, and it's not a number of other excuses they gave me for why it hadn't shipped in over two weeks. They never had it in stock to begin with, and finally, after keeping me on the hook all this time, my order was cancelled with an impersonal email and a 10% off coupon Just 4 days before my wedding day. Do not shop at Bergdorf Goodman online!
Answer: I didn't get the right item shipped to me. It went out of stock. And they did nothing but offer an insincere apology and forced me to go through all the effort of managing the return.
